I've watched this conclusion in Japanese a number of times since it was released and after it was banned in the U.S, could only enjoy on the internet! But was worth it then and worth it now it being released finally in English!

Hulu and their website had the subtitles for years? You're just too lazy/inept to read. And the voices are terrible.
@@JadeiteMcSwag I'm Australian and we don't have Hulu. We've got them on Animelab which is our crunchyroll, but I've been holding out for the dub release and I love subs just as much as the viz dub

Viz (Studiopolis-Los Angeles) dub with their voice actors gave it their all in the redub of the 90s Sailor Moon anime saga.
I feel like I'm the only one who thought this but ever since season 1's release back in 2014 , I was terrified that Viz would suddenly shut down and the dub would be incomplete. Thank goodness that never happened as the 90's series is such a great one. It is corny every now and then but the characters feel relatable and alive even more than 20 years later and part of that is of course the excellent VA's. I wasn't really feeling them in Season 1, but over time I noticed the little things such as the inner senshi's voices becoming slightly deeper through the series. I don't know if that was intentional or not but that's absolutely genius and correlates with the Seiyuu counterparts. I'm just so glad that we didn't have to wait until 2020 for part 2's release. I wish there was more after this.. but we pretty much know what happens from here. Now I just hope the rest of Crystal can have some sort of 4k release... if only!

After over 20 years the English language dub have never reached the fifth season of Sailor Moon 🌙, both DiC Entertainment and Cloverway, Inc was censoring many content that we never saw on television during my childhood days in the mid 1990s up to the early 2000s, and they never dub nor Cartoon Network (when Toonami was originally scheduled as a weekday afternoon program, before the block moved to Saturday nights in primetime in April 17th, 2004, and before the shutdown in September 20, 2008) did not aired the fifth season (Sailor Stars) because of the issues that Cloverway, Inc don't know what to do with it. Until years later, when Viz Media picked up the rights of Sailor Moon 🌙, and dub all 200 episodes tie in specials, and all 3 Sailor Moon films in the United States and Canada once again. Now after 2 decades, Viz Media finally reached season 5 (Sailor Moon Sailor Stars) as many people have been waiting for over 15 years.
The Viz dub is garbage, dude. They censor and change TONS of lines and Usagi's VA is terrible and misrepresents Usagi. In 178 they completely omitted a line for censorship Every voice is mediocre, especially Nephrite who sounds like a 50 year old man.
@@JadeiteMcSwag I respectfully disagree--the Viz dub isn't perfect but it's far from garbage. My issues with the dub stem from the similarity of their voices (but once you get into it, the nuances of their voices/personalities show) and I find Usagi's voice annoying; however, she does sound more like the original Japanese actress. But beyond that, it's an excellent successor to the previous dubs, which censored way, way more than Viz has done. Also, Cloverway/Pioneer's voice for "Serena" was appalling--even as a child I found her voice terrible (no offense to her VA)!
@@beaniepq Yeah, it'd almost have to be better than the previous dub to even have a reason to be made, so comparing it to DiC doesn't give it much ground.If the voices are trash, even inaccurate in some cases (Nephrite not sounding like a normal man and instead like a poet), and countless lines being changed such as Ami's IQ being changed to "Over 9000" and even some lines straight up removed out of censorship then it is a garbage dub. Literally dubbing 101.
Finally I can complete the Sailor Moon Saga Dub and put my childhood to rest. Already pre-ordered from Rightstuf months ago. Thank you, Viz for a great job on Sailor Moon.

I JUST WANT TO THANK VIZ FOR MAKING THIS A REALITY.
I have been a fan since the first run in 1995. I don't know how many of you here were part of the S.O.S. (save our scouts) movement back in the early days of the internet but this is our moment y'all! 😊🙌We fought so hard to keep this series on TV and it bounced from network to network after being cancelled so many times. Later, it resurfaced in VHS format and later on in DVD without giving us much closure at all. So yes, thank you VIZ Media for making this happen but most importantly a special and heartfelt thanks to all the Moonies out there for keeping Naoko's dream alive and integrating Sailor Moon into american culture for many generations to come. Congrats! 💖⭐💖🌙💖⭐💖

Finished my boxset earlier today. Dub was worth the wait! It's surreal finally having a legal release of Stars, and a COMPLETE uncut dub, after all these years.

Thank you Viz for really introducing me to Sailor Moon and allowing me to have much more appreciation for beautiful hand drawn classic anime. I've had so much fun watching this new dub with my mother and sister. We loved seeing all 3 movies in theatres over previous summers and we cannot wait for the new Sailor Moon Crystal film in 2020! PLEASE continue to save more series like you did here ...would love to see something like Tokyo Mew Mew saved next!! Thank you Sailor Guardians!

Just got my copy a couple days ago and finished it last night and I gotta say this dub was amazing overall and these past 5 years waiting for each release up until this moment have been awesome and im so glad Viz got the opportunity to do this especially for the Sailor Moon fans 😁🌙
Galaxia is Sailor Moon's most terrifying foe, and her overwhelming strength which no mortal can stand gets my point across.
This Galaxia sounds terrifying once I get to know this character that is.
it's a constant hit and miss with Viz. they're doing the best they can, they aren't horrible... but they just haven't reached that intense level the original Japanese or original Dub had.
it's just... not there yet, reaching but not there.

I'm happy to hear that Viz Media released some of my childhood anime onto complete DVD like Pokemon, Beyblade, yugioh series, and Sailor Moon, still I would like to see more anime that didn't have a chance to released into complete DVD yet like Spider Riders, Ultimate muscle and Yo Kai Watch in the future maybe in 2020?

finally for the first time ever an official english dub is complete... i love the soundtrack to this trailer. one day it would be awesome if they updated the soundtrack to the show like Dic did. i love watching the dub but the 80s sounding background music isn't my favorite.
Still wondering what happened to the "complete collection" preorder, now that's gone do you have to buy every single part separately? Instead of like $50 for the whole collection its $50 per half a season?
