I liked him too, I went out of my way to fight him as often as I could. I do think he looks a bit unpolished though, almost to a champions graveyender degree
Watched the whole video thinking it was one of those 200k subscriber souls channels. The quality of both the mic, the gameplay and the editing was really high
Lol same I agree with a lot I would rank the sunflower higher tho very cool fight and a great colossal weapon. Really should have only been a 30 dollar DLC.
@@user-uz5gw6cd5c I thought the same thing till i saw the like count. This is some good stuff and I hope the almighty algorithm picks him up. Also watching it makes me thing i judged the backhand blades too harshly.
For the Scadu Avatar, what helped me the most in dodging the explosion was the realization that its not the explosion thats damaging you, its the beams of light. Dodge the second you hear the explosion go off.
1:18 Dont get me wrong im a putrescent knight hater too, but my opinion on his design 180'd when i found out that the rider isn't a human skeleton, but the horse's skeleton pushed out and animated by the putrescence
A lot of the mid-late game bosses people fight over leveled just by nature of the scadufragment system. Romina is a victim of that. I beat her in like 3 tries which kinda ruined my first experience with her
Apart from swapping the knight and Radahn its just as i put them. I went back to DS3 and i think Midir is just a bit over Bayle, they have alot of the same DNA but i think Midir is just a better dragon and better punish windows particularly with the big nuke moves.
Video was great quality and I think your opinions were pretty fair While I don’t actually enjoy Ledas fight, I do find it pretty thematically cool. Champions from other factions, that would normally be adversaries, coming together to stop Miquellas ascension for various motivations and facing off against the champions of this new order. I may not enjoy the actual fight but I appreciate Fromsoft trying something new
Always interesting to see another perspective and how a diff build & play style changes the perception of a boss. Great explaination of your points. Below is my perspective using the Great Mace & Beast Blades as a Str/Int build w/ cold infusion. 1. MESSMER THE IMPALER (Best well balanced & challenging boss) 2. BAYLE THE DISABLED (Best Dragon Fight but terrible cam 2nd phase even w/ toggle) 3. DIVINE BEAST DANCING LION (I love this fight camera is a none issue w/ toggle) 4. RENALLA, TWIN MOON KNIGHT (Awesome fight w/ a great moveset) 5. PUTRESCENT KNIGHT (Awesome fight & love the split attack w/ the mount concept) 6. COMMANDER GAIUS (Delayed hitbox sucks but I enjoy agressiveness, moveset & abilities) 7. METYR, MOTHER OF FINGERS (Cool boss but not very challenging) 8. MIDRA, LORD OF FRENZIED FLAME (Cool boss but not very challenging) 9. ROMINA, SAINT OF THE BUD (Horrible Hitbox, fix the hitbox & she moves to #7) 10. RADAHN, CONSORT OF MIQUELLA (Reduce 2nd phase blinding holy animations (not the amount of aoe, dmg or stagger) and Miquella's hair by 50% and Radahn jumps to #2) 11. SCADUTREE AVATAR (I just hate this boss, way too much ground aoe, I will skip this boss on future playthru's or cheese as I just don't enjoy it. Conceptually it's pretty damn awesome)
i think i’d switch rellana and romina but i totally agree with everything else . loved your reasoning and humor, def underrated vid that hopefully gets more attention
You can dodge the fingers dual laser thing by getting close and running under them I think. Still not a satisfying way to dodge it but I can’t call it a bad attack since it looks soooo cool
yeah that works on the second wraparound but to my knowledge it doesn't work on the first pass? maybe im out of the loop tho i havent been looking for updated strats or anything, could just be wrong
The lore of the DLC was as disappointing as the final boss, well, mostly the final boss. I fixed this issue by prioritizing Radahn first out of all the bosses so I can treat Bayle as the actual final boss. The entire Elphael section is just an optional backdrop
thought you were too hard on putrescence knight but after seeing you flame radahn with shit I've thought but heard barely heard anyone talk about you brought it back.
I feel like everyone has stockholm syndrome. Go replay ds3 and fight slave knight gael. It was perfect. Maybe the best boss ever made. Elden ring is the funnest on the landscape, but the late game bosses are worse than ds2.
in radahns second phase if he hits you with the swing DONT spamroll the lightbeams. instead geht hit by them and focus on the next swing to finish the combo and punish him or heal. also I never understood why everyone says the beams are obscuring so much. i can literally see what he is doing everytime also most his combos are the same so it cant really be an issue
I’m guessing that with “the gank-squad you meant the needle knight and her allies. I don’t know if you summoned for that fight but I thought each summon having its own little voice line and story mad for a very sinematic fight that I look back on fondly. Maybe I’m just marvelbrained tho
Probably an unpopular opinion but I like the putrescent knight. I had a lot of fun fighting him.
hey if its fun its fun
Yeah me too (though I do get the complaint about his idle animation looking like an attack)
I liked him too, I went out of my way to fight him as often as I could. I do think he looks a bit unpolished though, almost to a champions graveyender degree
Yeah easily better than Consort

hey thanks ill try and make something much cleaner next time lol

what in the sam hell did i read, that's even more disgusting than i thought what the fuck
ok i didnt know that thats pretty cool lol
Damn that’s hardcore
He's a straight up modern Bloodborne boss and one of my favorite designs in the whole game along with Messmer, Rykard, Bayle and Maliketh.
A lot of the mid-late game bosses people fight over leveled just by nature of the scadufragment system. Romina is a victim of that. I beat her in like 3 tries which kinda ruined my first experience with her
yeah thats basically what i was getting at i wish she wasnt in a late game area (among other things)
Apart from swapping the knight and Radahn its just as i put them. I went back to DS3 and i think Midir is just a bit over Bayle, they have alot of the same DNA but i think Midir is just a better dragon and better punish windows particularly with the big nuke moves.

Keep up the work man. Good video.

Radahn's sword hit boxes are like 30% longer than his swords, and much wider too. It's BS design.
no, he just traces behind you
Lmao what's this guys problem with midir I still prefer him to bayle
im just playing it up lol i just like giving midir shit because everyone i know loves him

Strong video TY
i hope you have a bad day
Nah the freaking Scadu Tree Avatar really annoyed me ☠️
