It's his perception not the ones reality. It's a feeling of one's own mind that one capture n anchor it on skin. It gives them joy so be it. Why ask somebody who is a Saint in his mind. Creativity needs to explored with passion n lived to fullest. Art has its own language. One need to be in it to walk n talk.
The "need" to appear cool shows lack of confidence and self respect, in a subtle but significant way. The point is - a form, a diagram or a shape holds energy. Name is form is energy. And energy is positive and transformational, only when it's fluid. When u tattoo thinking it's cool, you are, in effect forcing something dynamic, into static dullness. U get stuck and it then backfires.
This is the same thing one of my uncles explained, he said the meaning behind tattoo was to differentiate between criminals and their hierarchy in crime chart. And when I realised the essence I thought why should I make it all About myself when this was actually use to denote something totally different and now this video, why should I post my philosophies for the world when they’re supposed to be inside me 💕🙏🏽 thank you Sadhguru
My reason for not having a tattoo is simply bc that’s not a natural thing to live in accordance to. Also I want to be respected when i talk to ppl in my future, aint nobody gonna take me serious with a face or neck tattoo
I have 2 tattoos that mean nothing to me at all, and I constantly think about getting them removed. The thing is they don't even look bad. They did originally because the original work was by an amateur, but I had them redone by a professional later thinking I would like them better...and I still dislike them despite them looking really cool. Reason is they never had a meaning, and I grew out of them. If you get a tattoo, make sure it is something with meaning you can hold dear for life.
I have a tattoo on a my arm. Its a poem dedicated to my mother. Everytime i look at it i think of her, that is a tattoo i will never regret. :)

Sadhguru said "if you really want to get a good tattoo, Kentucky Prison is best place to get it".
Its a joke.
But what sadhguru said is that priorities are different in every stage of life better not write down whats important for you at this moment on your forhead.
Most of the one thing is important from sadguru is that everything is within you.i highly appreciate with my own experiences thank you
The first woman was beautiful
I got tattoos 💪🏽
No regrets
Just wait a few years.
I watch Sadhguru's videos pretty much every day. His wisdom is so palatable when delivered with his charming sense of humor.
Feeling same as u
Sadguru is real guru. Namaskaram sadguru
According to the Bible it says. It's a reminder of an mistake made. Markings on a human body is like defacing your temple.
No, it's not and that's coming from one of the most misunderstood verse from leviticus.
I'm a simple man. I'm 34, have a small family and have tattoos on my both arm..some on my ribs, some on my shoulder. My tattoos has meanings for me. One arm is for the world another arm is about my family and I'm here to look after them. On my one shoulder is a part of imagine song's phrase, on my ribs is a short poem for my parents that I lost when I was really young and I miss them alot. My tattoos are not for others to judge me, they are for me to remind me who really I am. Tattoos for me is an art that describes us and our stories ✌🏼
Why you need to describe others about yourself.. Now don't tell you did to describe yourself
@@シヴァ-v2t??? 🤨 🤨
Read again my last two sentences. You don't get to judge me because I've tattoos. My tattoos are for me. Do you wear clothes for yourself or to show others? We are people who do things for ourselves not to show others
I don't like a permanent mark on my body just to show off other people. Really, what's the point !!
That's a teenager mindset. Most people nowadays don't tattoo themselves to impress other people.
@@MarcA75 ya.. some people do it for the memory.. but if you have a normal memory capacity then why tattoo to remember significant events
That isn't the reaosn behind tattoos
Its not for other people. A tattoo should be for you. If its for everybody else, you should not be getting a tattoo. I have 22 tattoos and none of them are to show off or for anybody else but me.
I tattooed for things that are important to me. Like cellf Love. Gratitude. Just words that I need to remember in challenging times
Sadhguru is truly a blessing!
Are tattoos cool? No! tattoo is an art! And getting a tattoo is a completely personal choice ✌🏻
I have one small tattoo of a daffodil I got to support my sister. I regret it so much, and miss my unmarked skin.
True
Sadhguru has logical answers to all questions... he is unbelievable..
Permanent mark on permanent things🔥
The "need" to appear cool shows lack of confidence and self respect, in a subtle but significant way.
The point is - a form, a diagram or a shape holds energy. Name is form is energy. And energy is positive and transformational, only when it's fluid.
When u tattoo thinking it's cool, you are, in effect forcing something dynamic, into static dullness. U get stuck and it then backfires.
This is the same thing one of my uncles explained, he said the meaning behind tattoo was to differentiate between criminals and their hierarchy in crime chart. And when I realised the essence I thought why should I make it all
About myself when this was actually use to denote something totally different and now this video, why should I post my philosophies for the world when they’re supposed to be inside me 💕🙏🏽 thank you Sadhguru
Te best example, is the ac DC rock-and-roll band. They don't need tattoos.. their music speaks
Tq sadhguru...
@@kegan_m this guy watch many of Sadhguru's videos....and he is from Malaysia
My reason for not having a tattoo is simply bc that’s not a natural thing to live in accordance to. Also I want to be respected when i talk to ppl in my future, aint nobody gonna take me serious with a face or neck tattoo
Real talk! Some pay with meals or commissary.
Be for sure before u get one
God bless
Every time I want a tattoo I postpone it for 2 years and suddenly I don’t want it anymore.
@ 3:49 the girl realised what her parents were trying to tell her
Please try chant ,,Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare''
I always feel that if I get a tattoo that I end up seeing a better version the next day or so, and being like I should've got that one
Sadhguru is a very Wise man... I like his sense of humor, too... Namaste...
Why dont we address that getting a tattoo restrict u from donating blood. 🤔
You can after about 4 months of getting the tattoo
Misinformation
@@Oliviya its 12 months actually but only for state controlled tatoo parlour which are rarest and the ink shouldnt be used due to risk of heptitus B.
@@GodsAssassin google why Christiano Ronaldo does not have any tatoo although athletes love to have tatoos. 😊
👍👍🐙
I have 2 tattoos that mean nothing to me at all, and I constantly think about getting them removed. The thing is they don't even look bad. They did originally because the original work was by an amateur, but I had them redone by a professional later thinking I would like them better...and I still dislike them despite them looking really cool. Reason is they never had a meaning, and I grew out of them. If you get a tattoo, make sure it is something with meaning you can hold dear for life.
that Lady asking the question is Cute when she smiles🙏🏾.
The man answering the question is wise.
