UPDATE: 10/10/2021 These are even better now than when I reviewed them, everything has broken in a bit more & I can even say they are more durable than I was expecting. I put on around 50 miles last month & have 0 complaints past the waterproofing, mine are simply not waterproof at all. Not at all, maybe 1-2 seconds before it pours into the shoe. Will contact Hoka & see what they say. 9/10 if the waterproofing was there 10/10
I am wearing these Hokas just to walk around New York city during winter time. Makes it so comfortable to walk and reduce feet hurt at the end of the day, city walking is the perfect scenario for these
This has to be the most passionate, hilarious, informative review I've ever seen, and I've seen thousands 😂😂😂😂 dude this is pure genius, keep doing more review please!
omg thank you for this review!! Ive been wanting to buy them but wasn't sure about the price and if they were really a good hiking "boot". so thanks again great review
I love these I showed my buddy these he laughed because of the heal. But something about these chunky soul screams futuristic to me. Reminds me of the Tesla Cybertruck. It’s like you love it or you hate it. And I love it. Can’t wait to order a pair.
I am on my feet a lot and Hokas are good for whatever but I particularly like their boots and high tops - the shoe seems worth $250 I have the dark grey Stinsons and they are great
I love them man, started training with a 60 pound pack for hunting last week & I swear I couldn't do it if I was in my old Merrells. Love this brand, really want to grab the sandals.
Yeah man you will love them for hunting, my pack weight is so much more manageable with these, honestly shocked they have not made hunting colors these would really be well received in that community. They do sell an orange & grey though that's close now. Cheers for the comments man
How would you rate them- I’m used to traditional boots- tried some air max trainers and hated the total separation of what’s on the ground and the feeling in my feet- are you devoid of the ground or is there still feeling and understanding of the ground up through to your foot? Great review- cheers
I love them more than any shoe I've ever used, with a 60 pound training pack for hunting it was very doable, with that same pack in the other shoes lol not even a half mile before I'd want to die. I don't really know how to answer you're question past I love them to death lol.
I'm a postal carrier and have been wearing the targhee high lace waterproof boot for almost 4 years.....I love them because of the wide toe box....do you know if these are wide or narrow in the toe box?
Yeah man these fit kind of like my old Keen's which I found wide, I have a narrow foot but like wides for bigger sock selection or layering plus my toes need to spread out & this nailed all that. The ankle support did over time break in more comfortably & I'm a but over 200 in so far far & love them even more than before. Insane for carrying heavy weight & for someone on pavement all day this would be amazing, if you want cushion there isn't anything that will offer more & man I swear they give you more momentum while you walk & less knee pain for me by over 90% at the end of the day & still no foot pain. Amazing shoes!
Damn these look they would almost double as snow boots . Strangely I have been doing a fair bit of camping lately ( getting back into training and taking a few days of food and trying to last a week while having most if not all of my food left . Quite tough in a sun burnt country .
How is it called a hiking shoe yet they warn customers not to operate them while using stairs ?? going up and down stairs is similar to hiking up and down mountains hiking trails
Because it's different from everyone, I said all that & this is what you have to say? Feel free to ask a question if you want bro that's how this works.

If you bought them from Hoka directly, they will exchange them. That’s a manufacturer’s defect

Dude great to hear you are getting out there! Hope all is ok with the fires
@@WillWildsOutdoorAdventures The fires aint nothing compared to our suddenly crazy gov , but that seems to be happening every where .
do they sell the white ones anymore???

I was surprised to hear you say that the goretex didn't perform well
I'll rephrase that to "didn't perform at all"
Wondering if a good water repellent spray will have an adverse affect on the foam sole pliability? Or will that assist in waterproofing?
Ordered this exact same shoe and color I'm a 13 found for 214.00. I want to amp up mu hiking excursions.
That's a steal! Mine have only gotten better with more use love them
Can you tell how are they size wise compared to speedgoat 4?
true to size?
Are these true to size? Do I need a size up or down ?
I think they run a little big, similar to a Keen
Why didn't you talk about the sizing??
Because it's different from everyone, I said all that & this is what you have to say? Feel free to ask a question if you want bro that's how this works.
Tricky with stairs?
OMG, I wear a men's 12, I would like I was wearing snow shoes 😂
