HOKA One One TenNine Gortex Boots - Review & SERIOUS Waterproof Test

Been trying out some HOKA ONE ONE shoes lately..these boots have Gore-tex, a Vibram sole, and you feel like Jar Jar Binx mixed with Kanye mixed with a snowboarder. It's cool.

i experienced exactly what you'd shared about pain in the inside of the heel (on both of my feet), which i've never experienced. kind of a disappointment after only a short 1 hour hike on pretty easy terrain. thanks again for the review.

Hey Tom - yea dang bummer to hear about that. In the end the 'hubble heel' doesn't seem to be what it 'could' be for me. I actually got a pair of the 'Kaha's' in the same size, and they have become my favorite shoe. Actually, the ONLY shoe I wear now that doesn't hurt my feet. The Bondi 7's I also got, but the Kaha's are better. For some reason, these TenNine's hurt my feet LESS than the Bondi's too. (dunno why the Bondis just havent worked out after many, many wears).
So for HOKA, it seems each model is different, and a trial and error is needed to see which works best.

Thanks - they are Columbia ‘Titanium’ ski/snowboard pants. Fit true to size and nice a nice stretch to them.
