Ron, you need to get some plastic razors for opening your collectables. They are much less likely to damage your stuff if you make a mistake, which gets easier and easier to do as you get older. I wince every time I see you use the metal razors on that cheap plastic.
I just bought Zombies Ate My Neighbours from Limited Run Games, for the snes, but they send a booklet with 3d artwork, with a pair of old school 3d glasses! I completely learned about this game from your channel.
If Nintendo or Sega would release these 16bit old consoles again with the "old" cartridges it would become a new retro hype, i'm sure ! Would be an enourmous boost for the gaming industry. Retro is already back by other companies, so if the big few companies would jump in, this could be huge for them. Look at the snes and sega minis. But we would applause the renewal of the snes, megadrive etc with cartridges in these days😉
I think it would be succesful only if Nintendo did it. The AT Mega Drive/ Genesis flashback consoles of a few years ago allowed for cartridges to be played and they went mostly unnoticed in the mainstream gaming community. The same thing happened this year with Atari's 2600+ console. Not to mention that the option is already there with many 3rd party alternatives (Retron, Retro-Bit consoles, Analogue NT etc.) Hardcore retro gamers did notice these consoles when they came out, but most of them preffer to play the cartridges on the original hardware either way. Now, if Nintendo released a retro SNES console that allowed to play SNES cartridges, I think that would be succesful but not because the console itself would be an innovation. It would be succesful only because Nintendo released it, and every product they make has a loyal fanbase who hypes it and increases its value. This is what happened with the Minis, they became so succesful because it was a Nintendo product that within a few months after its release became very scarce to find, and due to demand, its value increased exponentially.
There's ridiculous amounts of most original retro games on the 2nd hand market for very little money, why would anyone buy a new production from Nintendo for probably more money?
Manuals were definitely the ride home material. By the time you booted the game you were familiar with everything, it’s why we never needed tutorials for games like they do now
Can you still unlock the Napalm weapon? Best weapon in the game! Play through first mission without killing anything or picking up power ups or health chips and destroy the generator only (not it's guns) and when you start mission 2 you should have the napalm. Complete mission 2 without dying and you get to keep it for rest of game. Die and you lose it on mission 2. You can collect power ups and health as normal on mission 2 too
I'm someone that likes to buy colored snes cartridges, and gotta say that the gold one is the most beautiful one out there, followed by the Silver, they are quite expensive too, so they are doing really nice quality products, I just hope they Consider releasing "Ghost Sweeper Mikami", which is a really nice and fun game.
Would have been cool if they could have done shredders revenge on a green cartridge wonder if a custom translucent green switch cartridge could be made.😂
Seems to be the key ring has random sounds where in reality should they should have all the sounds loop so you can hear the sound you want eventually Not you have to press it X-amount of times to eventually hear the sound you wanna hear I also pre-ordered the collectors edition so I await that as well, but I was kind of looking forward to the clearing and now it looks kind of useless
Idk if the translation is worth the upcharge on a common snes game. Unless it became rare all the sudden 🤷🏽. I would love to see something like this for hagane though.
Yea, the game link you posted for Amazon says that it is not trusted amd that someone could be trying to steal your identity. Seems sketchy to me personally, so I'm not going to open the link. You might want to address this for your viewers though because I am interested. But at the same time, there is no reason that an Amazon link should be displaying this. Especially when it is being shared from a verified channel such as your own.
Won’t Nintendo strike this, though? They own patents on the likeness and engineering of SNES and NES? That being said, I wish the same could be made for GBA and NDS.
I can get here in japan a real version of valken on super famicom for a fraction of the price of that bootleg filled with useless crap. LOL. BTW, did Nintendo granted these bootleggers the right to package the game and sell it ? I don't think so. preparing the popcorns

I really wish Nintendo would’ve designed their SNES boxes like this back in the 90s.

"New Manual Smell"!!!!!! HAHA Love it!

Some cool stuff in there! I had Cybernator back in the day. Would love to see a true HD remake like they did with Leynos back in 2015.

Much easier to make digital versions and sell them for physical prices.
@@retropursuit992 real fans and collectors prefer to handle, collect and stick physical games into a console. People from the good old days😊

@@coconutfleetsleeper5717 yes, but many games could be updated with the FX-chip maybe which boosts performance and image quality.
Nice! Thanks.
preordered!
Cybernator is one of my favorite SNES games of all time. I ordered the basic edition last year.
I just bought Cybernator for SNES off EBay 2 weeks ago. Had to have it again!
That's pretty cool. Thank you for showing it to us.

Isn't this considered a re-release?
It's pretty nice if only cartridges weren't so expensive but for enthusiasts it's cool
I would love to see this happen with Ds and 3ds games. It would be great to see a new 3ds release today
I was so close to pre ordering this wish I would have.
Thats one hell of a presentation.
I ordered one and am going to post it on your marketplace when I get it 👍
I want the retro console you're playing on, where can it be had? thanx Ron!
Does it work on the Hyperkin snes HDMI?
"A LINK TO THE PAST" should have looked like that back in the day.
Hey man. What hardware mod are you using in your SNES? Just curious
Would have been cool if they could have done shredders revenge on a green cartridge wonder if a custom translucent green switch cartridge could be made.😂
Wasn’t this released in the USA back in the day under the name Cybernator?
(Looks familiar)
looks great

One of the best games for the system
"VALKEN ASS-177A"
Is this related to Metal Warriors? Play style looks really similar.
