I enjoy the little tips and tricks your dad teaches you along the way. BEST dad ever!
he’s awesome
Your dad’s stories!! I think it’s more the way he tells it..total flat affect! Super funny..and I love the way you talk to the animals...geez you guys are a hoot!! So enjoy watching you all....
I’d take 79 degrees! We woke up to 25 degrees F,(-6 C). Fall has arrived, at least the three inches of snow we got last week melted.
Great way to start a Saturday. Thanks for the Ellie shots. She needs her own channel.😊
Very nice video, thank you. thanks for the ride along.
Yes, I enjoyed very much even 2 yrs later!
Very interesting. Your use and application of technology is very informative,
Can’t believe your older brothers never double dared you to climb that silo!! 😂😂🙋♀️
makes my knees weak seeing footage of you on top of that silo !!😳😳😳
Your dads stories are the best! Keep em coming. I still chuckle over the sausage fingers and the banana fingers.
Awesome video SF . TY for sharing
Thanks for watching
Thanks for another cool video always fun to watch
Brian and Cole Corn 🌽 Harvesting and now full silos ! Good job 👍!
I'm glad you have no fear of heights....oh my gravy! I just about lost it watching you up on top of that bin....gracious! I have seen my brother on some but not that high....WOW!
Now that was a great video 😁. Tips from dad and again seeing the troubles of every day farming. Your channel is one of the best out there. Thanks for good entertainment and educational ways to make broken things work to get the job done...God bless
Great view Cole have a day love from TEXAS
Hahaha love the end 🤣 😆
What a dad , you lucky boy
I love the stories that your dad gives(give us more dad)(love the videos kee p them up Cole
Part of being a parent,we worry when kids are not home when they supposed to be! now I know why my Dad reacted like he did...we have three daughters.and believe me...it's payback time!Cheered my day up watching this.
I love watching all of you videos
Hey Cole and Brian. About done with the harvest here on my half acre farm in Terre Haute IN. The Tulip Poplar leaves are mowed up and in the (trash) bin. About half done with the Maple leaves. I chopped down my one pepper plant and three tomatoes. I was going to chop them for silage but the only critter I have around here is a chipmunk. I'm mad at him. He is eating the shingles off my house so he is not on my chore list. Love the videos.
Nice view from top of the bin. Back in my day I had to walk around the top of the silo to move the grain around to try to keep silage going on as even as possible. At 200’ in the air, 2 cables go around the silo, attached to the silo about every 10’. That was scarey but had to be done. One mid step and you’re dead. None of us ever fell. Daddy did tell us if we were to fall, fall inside on the silage. More cushion. My Dad had a really good sense of humor too.
We're you TRYING to show us a problem we hadn't seen yet?? Glad all worked out...❤
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!
great video cole that por tracter i hope you guys get it fixed thumbs up and shared
Love how Mr Brian checks for holes on the combine. He rubs so lovingly like he’s running a genie bottle. Wishes for high yields, tasty roast for dinner, and cold adult beverages!!
I can climb up something all day but have always been way scared to climb down. My brothers had fun with that when we were young.
Great video Cole,Brian, and Ellie.Enjoy the warm weather.
South Dakota Magazine did a nice job on the article about the farm.
Have a good one!
2020 in a nutshell, is watching Cole try too get the chisel plow unhooked. My Lanta!!!
Been there had that happen. It sucks you know it comes off. Grrrrrrrrrrr!
Your Dad is Awesome.
Nice view from atop the grain bin!
Jeff's got a heck of an arm, I bet he's heck of a horse shoe pitcher lol, stay safe and keep moving along guys👍
Ya I asked Jeff to do it. Saving whats left of my rotator cuff.
@@briansonne814 sure don't blame you there, those kinda things hurt a little more every year and nobody wants to be down with a surgery, especially as busy as you all stay, ne safe
Quite a view from there
Never a dull moment on the farm!!
Another great video by Sonne farms WOO HOO loved it Dad and son and just great presentation makes it funny, interesting!! Thanks please keep posting LOL..............
Watching you corn and bean boys hooking and unhooking things from the 3 point brings joy to my heart 🤣🤣🤣 shorten the top link!
The same thing happened to our 8285r this spring. All it is is a sensor that has and o ring blow then let’s oil past it. Our is around 2500 hours
you're right!!! that is one heck of a view from up there!!
Everything is cool when it's working right lol. I've tried watching other farming channels but they're not as good as yours! Thanks to you and your Dad for making me laugh!
I am very pleased that we have ruined you from watching any other farming channels!
@@briansonne814 Absolutely you guys first, Welker Farms and Duffy AG my top 3:)
Thanks again for the video fella's, hey Ms. Ellie. "TRENCH "
Sure wish it was that temp today!! Nippy bugger with this snow coming in!
You have a great channel! Keep em coming!
Thanks for posting. Nice work on the edit. Work safe.
Enjoying the vid’s you and your family are producing. I’m a city bloke from Sydney Australia and know next to nothing about farm life, but I find it absolutely fascinating to see how life on the farms plays out. Keep up the good work!
Side note: please take care as I just heard South Dakota has the highest % positive COVID-19 tests in all US States 39.9% (7-day avg).
Hey Cole, use couch cushion foam in the hole and duct tape over that, it will last all season and then some usually!
Hey Cole it’s about time to put a mic on your dad so we can hear him too. We do love your videos.
The baseball stitches on the cousins forehead...oh my mama! Great vlog.
Cole, seeing you on the top of that silo makes me kinda pucker. Great video!
Cole and Brian, have you not had to use that tall silo in ages because this years harvest was so large that you had to use it? .....or do you just have extra silos around? Non farmer here evidently. Another great video, no poop on you all, and no one got injured. 👍👍👍❤️❤️
Its just not the easiest to use so if we dont absolutely have to we try not to use it. But this year we also are having good yields and so we are needing all our bin space! Thank you for the comments/questions!
Thanks for another great video. Those cows really appreciate your attention too. 😁
Like to see happy cows going into the corn field!
Better you than me on top of that bin!!
Strange, being afraid of heights myself, I was looking for how Cole was hooking onto the ladder on his was up for security, and once on top, how he was securing himself..........my heart just stopped. Good thing the wind didn’t pick up boys. Yikes!😲👍❤️
You guys are so cool!
You guys need to get some plastic five gallon buckets and cut the bottoms out fasten them with chain and bolts were the handles go ,work’s great and cheap . Thanks for the great videos stay safe
Hope that tractor isn't gonna be a crazy amount of money to fix for u guys u gotta love break downs
Great video! Sorry for all bad luck
Have great weekend 😉🙏👍💕
Off season to do list:
#1 widen gates for combine heads.
Man! You had me #puckering just watching you up on top of that silo edge..
Good video buddy. Thanks for the info.
Heights and ladders scare me.
Glad you were safe on that silo.
I used to hate those old bin ladders. BTW, nice tape throw, Brian. You just invented bin top curling. Closest to the edge and doesn't fall off wins.
Have a nice day everyone
You crack me up Cole....You raise Beefers and hate roast. How is that even possible??? LOL
Keep up the great videos. You and your Dad are awesome together with great humor. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.
Hydraulic top links solve so many 3 point problems hooking up and unhooking and you can level implements on the fly
Brian's next story " Did I ever tell you the story about how I knocked Cole off the top of the bin with a roll of duct tape? " it was hilarious!
@Paperwing I have vertigo when he looked down into the bin is what got me.
Bahahahahahahahaha
I wish your dad would fix his old John Deere and let you drive it for a year, you would feel cool. On any of the newer tractors then , you don’t realize how much easier you have it than what your poor dad had to go through in his lifetime!👍😊
i havent watched the whole video yet, but i enjoy your farming videos! keep up the work and you will continue to grow!
Cole, u could weld a removable funnel to leave up on top of that flat top grain bin. Maybe chain it down up there when you're not using it.
Hope harvest is going well!
I been watching you guys with my x and i love your farm. And please tell your DAD I LOVE HEARING HIS STORY😁 ohh why don't you Carey a tool bag just in case with yeah when your working.just thought i would ask. Love corn by the way and love your farm. You guys be SAFE and take CARE.😁🙏
There are so many different models of augers. Who knew?
I always kept a 3lb hammer in my tractor and one in my pickup truck
I LOL'd at that PTO shaft install. Those NEVER go in on the first try.
Love that Ellie
You'll have days like that. Stay healthy and keep up the Great Work
No Halloween for us here in Wales uk we are locked down for two weeks on the bright side at least I get all the candy 😁😁
Cows slobbering cobs and taking pictures! What is up with those girls today? To bad that trench wasn't more moist, it would not have been so bumpy! 🤣🤣🤣
Auto steer with the grain cart is the beez kneez.
@15:55 so glad I’m not the only one who says oh my lanta!
As we used to say " if the drips aren't connected, it's not leaking"
lol
Hey Brian, HAVE A GOOD EVENING. LOL
Great video all in days work on the harvest it does get frustrating sometimes that’s for sure
Stop eating our roasts! He gave em away fair and square, Mr Brain. There's won't be any left when you hit the subscriber milestone!
Oh mylanta! I'm gonna use that one!! Lmao Ellie is always so happy to see you, in every video! Well, except when you blow air at her! Lmao Great video!
LMBO looks at the yearling and says, take a picture lol oh man lol you guys crack me up lol
See, should have hired Claudia during harvest. That woman knows how to handle big equipment.
Boy that is a view of the country side. What the heck is a DILLY Bar never heard of that I must be to old
Dairy Queen ice cream shop...one of their yummy treats.
Great video cole
Another good story 😉
When I was young we didn’t have girls baseball or any sport for that matter because it wasn’t ladylike for girls to sweat. But at home Dad insisted we all play (pitch, bat, play all the bases) because he said that was fair. We’d all gather up at grandpa’s, the uncles, cousins (all 28) and even pulled in some neighbor kids to play. Well my uncle Walter was pitching an it was my turn to bat and me being a girl and all he thought it was appropriate to shorten the distance between me and him and give the ol ball an underhanded lob. He didn’t take into consideration that when my older two brothers (who were both pitchers) needed someone to practice with I was next in the birth line in our family and had been batting to my brothers ever since I was about 4. Anyway, I digress. Uncle Walter gave me a real slow ball I suppose thinking that maybe I could come close to giving it a tap. I connected with that ball, pulled with all my strength and weight, slammed it right back to his mouth and knocked his top four teeth out! He never pitched to me again but much later in life as we both got older he got bit on the leg by a fiddleback spider and me being a nurse would dress the wound for him. One day he remembered that baseball game and started talking about it. We got to laughing about me knocking out his teeth and didn’t hear uncle Don pull up in the lane. He came in and we were cackling like two fools so hard we couldn’t even get the words out to tell him what we were laughing about and he started laughing too. There we were, my sides were splitting, uncle Walter was about to roll off his chaise lounge and uncle Don over in the kitchen making coffee and laughing at what? (he didn’t have a clue). That was quite a day and I was thankful for it cause we had lost Dad not long before. It was good to sit with his only brothers and have a gut wrenching laugh about old times.
Get off that flippin silo! Just watching my stomach turned over. Can’t do heights, that was crazy scary 😬
Love your videos
Oh Mylanta. Love you guys and the videos. Keep up the good work and just bein who you are. Trench hatin farmers. 😂
My dad is 2000 miles away and I miss his stories. The next best thing is Brian " did I ever tell you about...".
