I will agree I was shocked to see the price being 50$ it’s on sale for 30$ rn on Black Friday PS5 should I wait for a bigger sale or should I get it for that price?
This game feels old enough that it should be free and ported to a smartphone app by now... but dammit I love rdr1, so cool to see it again! Great review!
Quite off topic but I thought I should say: I don't think emulating a game is illegal? If that's what you meant by legitimate means. I'm not 100% sure and it could depend on anyone's local laws, too, but I can't see anything illegal in that. (Meaning if you own the game and choose to emulate it on your PC instead of playing it on the original console)
Did they keep RDR2&1 30 fps even on PS5 for stupid "console equity", to sell the exact same for old and new gen clients? Or they didn't want to risk it because old R* games, while perfectly playable at 60, have game-breaking bugs (gta4 heli and SA swimming missions). They're blessed for the incompetence to bring it to PC, graphics modders would've put them to shame.
Honestly didn't think about it from that perspective. It's possible. I've even seen it run at 60 FPS on a Switch, quite successfully as well. Really weird decision.
For $65 you can literally almost buy a PS3 and the game…. So why not get a whole system..? I paid $40 for my PS3 slim 320GB “ it needed cleaned “ and it’s great and bought the game of the year game for $25 and now I can grow a PS3 library

I dont think it should be. If you feel guilty just donate money to the studio what you feel the game is worth lol.
