Yo, great list, Myst. Also, if you really believe that your ranking is justifiable, go for it and don't get swayed. I would put Oberon in EX+, but it's all about perspective. It's your tier list, your rules. Keep up the good work.
@@whorifiied Pairing her with servants like Merlin or Castoria can literally invul loop and turtle through basically anything in the game. Slow and requires you to have some other pretty rare servants but even if you aren't using her for stall memes she's a really good servant. Worth it if you got some other good buster units no doubt.

As an abby fan it hurts to see her so low but it's true. She could really use an np buff, the buff removal sounds nice but in practice there are so many bosses with unremovable buffs so she loses one of her major upsides. It just needs to do more. She's also kind of stuck in the middle of support and dps, maybe an np upgrade could give her some more utility on top of the damage buff so she's better at both. Summer abby is just a big oof.
I can relate to people basically calling this a podcast, they are super nice to listen to while doing other things. Especially since I also get to learn about servants that I otherwise might never think about summoning.

Haephasteon's niche is 90+ node farming, and even on the most recent JP lotto it was a boon. She can still be used against bosses pretty effectively, but the niche she owns is 3-1-x or 1-1-x node farming and I was surprised you didn't mention it. The Caster damage mod niche is also very valuable for 90+ nodes as well, since it just broadens the amount of use applications for irregular node farming. She's only going to age better with time as more 90+ nodes need to be solved for 6CE down the line.
@@Luca-yb4sh like almost all unit has their flaws but the flaws doesnt justify her placement , now we talking about ssr foreigners she is not the weakest , for st version she is a hard hitting dps with one of the highest atk in the game caping at 13k+ if foued , her np is a hard hitting one , i dont know what the hell myst is talking about , not only that but she can be used as a dedicated support , so she is more versatile than xx and hit hard without an upgraded np which makes her better , her np gain was her main problem but it was fixed through the 30% battery , when we talk about summer abby if you didnt know she has the third highest np dmg among all the aoe foreigner voyager being lower and hokusai having the lowest base np dmg out of all the ssr servants dues to weak amount of steroid , summer abby is very versatile and consistent , she can work as a dedicated support just like her st self or be a main dps or be a farmer , she definitely better than her st self since she has more usage , better gain stats and her terror skill is better , in summary summer abby is better in cq in general , voyager is better in farming since his np is weaker but gives party charge and hokusai is mainly relevant against man attribute ennemy where she is better than both , in summary molay is the best , followed by koyan , and the 3 other aoe are relative in power , i would say , i have a lot of exp with summer abby and i am sure even more than myst since mine is bond 8 and i have been using her consistently not just putting her in the back , in solo , farming or as a secondary dps , and she is great even if she is not as good as molay or vitch , a lot of peoples have just no exp with her and buy others opinion or just go for a quick look at the wiki instead of actually using the unit , or they are just bad at scaling cause i am sure a lot of peoples do not even know jinako outdamage hokusai on base and that she needs to use her unique skill to mitigate her dmg which can slow her down
seeing gogh in EX+ made me remember when a friend ranted about how she was just a worse skadi with a weird gimmick or something like that, even though i always told him that she's better as a dps, kinda makes me wanna see his reaction to this lol
These videos have been very helpful for someone like me that's just came back to FGO without even finishing Okeanos. More knowledge on servants and possible servants you'd want to save up. These list are easier to understand than most guides out there. Looking forward for the list next year!
super happy for Douman's placement, he's my only ever np5 SSR ive ever been willing to commit to and whale for and he's an absolute BEAST. fully planning to do the same on NA, his sheer versatility is amazing. thank you for shilling him 🙏
Yeah defo disagree with the Oberon part. The man's single handedly was able to make Servants do out of this world damage on that one turn and is the only Servant to be able to provide a 70% battery. Sure his only use may be as a plugsuit support in farming let's be honest but on that one final 3rd wave, he easily enable practically any Buster Servant (or Arts/Quick for that matter) to blow the enemies away.

And as one of the certified madlads that watched/listened to every minute of it, I'm certainly going to miss these weekly installments. Hell, I somehow didn't know Van Gogh was apparently so disgustingly good, and am cursed to try and roll for her now, too. Thanks for that! So yeah, thanks for putting in all the work that I can tell goes into these, and I do look forward to you perhaps doing an updated ranking series next year, and/or maybe ranking Craft Essences or anything else in FGO!
YEAH!!!! ALTER EGO TIERLIST IS FINALLY HERE! Your twitch stream is awesome and all, but I don't have time to stay for the whole stream + timezone issue. And yes, I do wanna see your full servant tierlist in future. Still, good tierlist. Kinda bummed out that Passionlip is placed in B+, she's definitely an A or higher in my list, but I can see why you put her where she is. I prefer a more defensive team and a healer servant is very rare in FGO, so I always praise her highly. Plus I love her personality (yes, definitely not bcuz of booba, those are just bonus)
Great list Myst as usual. But in Gao's defense, in a team comp, losing your growth stack before the cd comes back up, is not that big of a demerit. Sure it's awkward as hell, but you'll probably use 2nd skill when you either don't have 1st skill active to just reduce 3rd skill cd, or use it on 5 stacks or more to atleast guarantee a 100% NP, with at max 4T/less than half the down time of 1st skill. ;) On top of that, with 3 targets on the field, low chance of KP having lower HP than her OG stat on t5/more. So using 2nd skill early is just a nice HP reset, when you can stack that HP back up in a few turns. Unless you're running Gong/Kerry aside her to fully utilize her big NP resistance with their taunt :'v I'm kinda glad that it's just NP resist up instead of Def Up, if it was Def Up that would be REALLY, a TRAGEDY :'v Now, in Solo runs tho, you can safely say that It's 'Useless' except for T1 (3/2/1 skill usage on first turn) and every 9T of 1st skill activation. Shout out for Gao to be able to solo Sheba Debt CQ and the Akiba CQ. IF, they ever decided to buff her 2nd skill, I kinda prefer for it to heal per stack if somehow during those 10/less turns of growth, KP managed to be damaged to below her OG HP (solo run). And who knows, as addition, maybe make it 2T cooldown reduction. ;)
Great content and love seeing you pour time and passion to your tier lists. Kinda sad that this will be the last one for this year but I hope you continue this til next year because it gives a really good insight to the servants that people might and might not want to roll for.
For Bazett please bare in mind that her np best case, she does 1800% on np1 (3000% on np5) plus the extra effects of 10% attack up on that turn, 30% quick resist down and about 35 crit stars. This makes her np easily the best single-target in the game and her best case can be pretty easily ensured with a skill seal support (like taikoubou). Additionally, she may well have the best upstairs stats in the game (jack tier star gen, godly np gen, 3rd highest attack stat, highest quick hits in the game). All her skills and passives are also excellent. I think she should very easily be in EX tier.
Totally agree, its like most of these people that judge bazett poorly havent really used her extensively. Her np dmg on asingle enemy is extremely high and also guarantees massive crits next turn. Super easy to loop with her but sometimes particularly when paired with skadi, the enemy dies to the ensuing crits after casting the np I love her, her internals are even better than okita from my experience!
That's fair but I feel like you still need to babysit her a lot more than other top DPS, which is the only reason more or less why I didn't place her there. I do recognize her massive damage potential though, don't get me wrong.
@@alispeed5095 having her at np2, i can say that its pretty hard to keep her around without killing her, unless you are using castoria or def-based support, she'll die quickly. without any form of protecton she'll take hits at neutral and its gonna suck for her. she is just not really suitable for long fight. not to mention her np is practically rng-based, even if you are bringing taikobou, his skill seal will have a downtime as well
@@thepopgroup3366 She is not perfect yet she has strengths unique to her. l may not be a CQ enjoyer but am aguy that appreciates servants with insane internals with okita saber being my fav servant, now bazett joins her :) If bazett sucks in long fights then dont take her to fights that cant be ended fast. We all know she is a min turn servant. Speed is her game. If the fight forces a slugfest, take the chinese emperor. Bazett has her roles where she excels, take her to those. l have recently been enjoying farming with her in those cavalry nodes and its pretty chill. An ST servant that is also capable of AOE farming? sign me up. That means l dont need to waste SQ grabbing servants to fill those niches. She has me covered. This is massive strength that stands out to me but l can understand if you dont care about this. Bazett isnt perfect but, no servant is.
@@MystFGO uh no myst , douman need babystting for dmg since his np dmg arent the highest , pretty average in fact , kiara is even worse her dmg are not consistent , and her survavibility is akward since it is tied to her np gain amp , bazett is more self-sufficient than them in dmg department , as consistent as douman and more consistent than kiara , when it comes to survavibility douman is the best out of the three , but for kiara and bazett , it really depends of the situation

i agree with u for Oberon in Ex. he feellike topping support. buster farming viable cuz victh not him but he make it better. he can use on everycard type but he can't replace mainsupport. he give big burst at the end and he does really good on this job. but it not good enough for Ex+ if u compare what Castoria can do. incase u can't use same servant Oberon still not 2nd pick most ppl pick Castoria instead. Castoria great on most situation even on other cardtype. 30% partybattery/target invincible / party invincible /remove debuff. broken with invincible comp can finish most challange quest. she can do alot more compare to Oberon (and other support) with that i think Oberon should be EX. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- for Aterego / Pretendor class with no Grail and Np1 (assumed from u tierlist) with 1.5x dmg advantage it not good enough compare normal class advantage servant. but i think if u have Np2+ / Grail / golden fou on this class it can deal more dmg than normal class with np1, especially Caster since this class bad dmg in general. and most of them have great skill if who ever in this class get np buff it can ez out dmg normal class. imo Aterego / Pretendor quite bad if u stuck with no Grail / Np1. but if u invest on this class it can be stronger than normal class Np1 especially on farming since u don't need def advantage.

Another week and the last tier list video. It's been a fun ride while it lasted Myst, and it's made the last couple months of working alone on Saturday in the lab more entertaining. I don't have many of these class servants personally, but Yang and MHXX are both pretty fun to use and solid. Okita Alter is my only Alter Ego and honestly I think her star gen and crit potential with her first skill up help to outweigh her weaker np a bit. Anyway, hope you're feeling better Myst and I'd love to see some more longform content like this in the future!
Well shout out for the effort , definetely praisable , out of all the tier list tho , caster and rider are probably the only one i absolutely agree with , with some maybe debatable placement , the rest of the tier list is , yeah not great imo , but like always good luck with future videos , a tier list about most fun unit to use could be cool in the future
Solid list yet again myst. Ortanax mashu I don't like as much as normal mashu but it has grown on me in the lb 5 story using her to bust down enemies as a DPS sub. Yeah I see Abigail get hyped over a bunch but like nobu avenge before her many many many many buffs she doesn't cut even the basics. Same as Jaques who is basic after okita saber alter summer was what quick aoe should be like. Ashiya is a perfect villain and kit. It's just so cool and Kiara same don't like her but kit came up so much from where she started. Man how I wish I had sitonai and she deserves a buff not because she is weak but because she does need something to give her a boost. A np buff would do just that. Love my melt np 2. Can't wait for her buff on na. Mhxx solid but wish they didn't make her star bomb take away stars. That needs to be changed and give crit damage too.
For MHXX you can get around that by giving the star weight command codes to her Arts cards (armament of Victory & blue illusion command spell), which p much negates the weight debuff entirely in my experience. That said imo she really needs more buffs to justify using her, like an Arts Up or Crit Dmg Up like you said. Rn she’s basically an inferior Astraea.
@@radicool21 wouldn't call her astrea who has a built in damage cut being a ruler and her def skill doubling on that. More so just a beat stick who gimps easy. I got mhxx at np 4 so her damage is fine with me but her cards need work. The arts buff and star weight reduce skill being removed would make her a nuke
@@ivanbluecool oh yeah I didn’t mean that she is similar to Astraea per se, but more that Astraea does everything that MHXX does but better. Ignore Invul, stars, arts loop, neutral damage on most classes, etc plus much more defensive and face card utility. MHXX doesn’t have a proper niche of her own yet unfortunately, other than the Threats Against Humanity mod which Castoria already gives, and Berserker defense advantage which is pretty underwhelming in comparison.
@@shamimansari9940 Columbus is just boring is why he is hates plus Japanese biase is always a thing and ashiya is the definition of that as well as agartha was a disgusting story where nobody was good aside the cross dressers. Ashiya is also the only alien god servant to stay true to being evil. Vitch was terrible as her ending and meaning was a boring dumb plot where it made no sense and she was amazing as a character but fell flat while muramasa switched sides which drops points for me. Kirie is up in the air but ashiya got it down right.
mash is in ex+ as expected, too much foreshadowing on your previous vids and all, haven't checked much about van gogh but i can see why she is in ex+ kiara douman and oberon, ex as expected, their kits and everything else about them screams ex tier KP being in A was a bit of a surprise, could have gotten A+ for me, EX if i am totally biased, i got sold on her survivability, being able to increase max hp then np gauge full then rinse and repeat. She's a game changer for me when i first used her from my friend's support surprised that og abby is in high tier than summer abby but maybe cause of her stun unlike the sleep one, besides i like og abby better.... since i pretty much 9/9/9 her already (got no lores as of the moment lel) yang oei and vitch dark, EX tier for me though I do agree them being in A+ Amazing job as always and may the SQ, ST, and Gacha goddesses will be with you and to all of us whenever we roll on our favorite servants in the future!!!
In defense of Abby, I find her to be really splashable into a lot of teams for her party buffs and utility, even if you're not going to have her in the frontline for the whole fight because of her cooldowns (works as a plugsuit support since all of her skills have value after she leaves.) Her damage buffs are really nice, she has the unique benefit of giving your DPS some additional NP charge even after she's been swapped out, and the terror tends to have a really high chance of activating in my experience. The Atlas Mystic Code also helps her a bunch as a DPS. Though, it's kind of funny that her drain skill is a worse version of a skill that Angra Mainyu has. He reduces an enemy's attack by 30% instead of 20%, but has a 6 turn CD instead of 7 turns. Nice game design.
And with this I have now watched all of your tier lists from beginning to end! This was a really nice podcast style of content, really enjoyed all of them. I said it in the beginning but I'll say it again, I think you're pretty good at judging a servant's strengths and weaknesses (Yes, I agree Oberon should be EX not EX+). There is a bit of bias in some of your grailed units (most notably Jinako and Hijikata) but hey it's YOUR tierlist after all and not everyone else's. Hope you do this next year as well, and if you happen to get Plushie or anyone else it might make for some interesting conversations.
What I appreciate about Myst's Tier lists is that they try to be objective as possible, while not suffering from "late-video opinion fatigue" like other tier lists i've seen. What I mean by that is getting loopy around hour 2, making Abby EX, and forgetting the premise of the Tier list in the first place. All of these were excellent, great job
Great list it always helps with some of us like me who doesn't know the mechanics of the game all around so greatfull I always used van goh as a support when i didn't have any caster I was disappointed when I got her but hell van goh is something else
Late to the party but I managed to watch/listen to every single one of these this last week. Just wanted to say that these were amazing and i’m looking forward to if/when you do these again! The only criticism I have was I thought you were a little generous overall across the board for alot of servants. This made alot of the lower tier categories namely below C+ a little redundant and empty. Adding extra tiers mid stream like EX+ etc… also kind of made that balance of lower tiers a little pointless and added to the bias towards the upside. But at the end of the day it’s all for fun. Either way, looking foward to more, they were very informative and entertaining.
Myst: I'm about to make a list of all Extra classes, this should do fine for a while. Lasengle: Let's release an Alter Ego welfare, just to fuck with him.
Van Gogh's np is very pretty too. Thank you for all these amazing lists; I never expected to watch more than 10 minutes of the first one, let alone 8 full three-hour+ servant marathons. It would have been nice to follow these live on Twitch since your chat is pretty great and there's some good dialogue going on too. Very much enjoyed the run and I think we all learned something from the experience. I'm definitely going to miss the weekly podcast :)

If Hokusai got an NP buff and a new effect she’d be easy EX tier. I personally love her, I’d personally put my lv100 NP2 one in A+. But under these circumstances it’s fair in A.
2:44:15 Id put counter argument about the two actually being equal more IMO. Giving out a couple reasons here, One, Her NP puts Curse AFTER the damage, not before so it doesn't work for looping, Second, Voyager's self NP battery is kinda 70% vs Molay's 50%. Don't forget that Voyager's on his NP thus if he loop three times in a row he actually gives 20% per turn and his allies have an easy 60%. 90% if you use Waver. Yes Jacques have the better hard defense with that shared invul, but he has debuff immune in return, also that Triple buff types? They are kinda small in the grand scheme of things, the 400extra atk stat probably differentiate their NP damage more than it. Edit: ah yeah her Np up is 3 turns, at leas on that aspect she is dealing better thamage on turn 3.just a tad, but better still. In the end, IMO Voyager fits a looping CQ team better than Jacques IMO, for example, he's one of the few quick servants that's able to make use of Okky+Skadi team to its full potential, as he's actually also charging their NP with his loops, basically fixing the only weakness Skadi and Okky have since their inception. Not being able to Snowball their NP. Jacques doesn't add much in a CQ versus Voyager IMO, just a more consistent 50% bonus damage on cursed, high hp enemies, and maybe a bit more survivability and damage from the supports also, but that's not active 100% of the time either. And the bonus damage and survivability thing kinda become moot when Voyager can enable Double skadi to double buff team damage with her atk up for 5 whole turns now. Not to mention the bonus 1 hit aoe evade + 3T damage cuts. Jacques' own merit IMO is less beneficial if weighted upon being able to fix Skadi, the current Quick premier support's main weakness, and actually make Waver able to NP on turn 3 also as a bonus.
I don't really have plans of adding completely new servants, but with some new buffs I might show a tier list bit again too like I have done recently with Buff Breakdowns.
I may as well state my opinion on Alter Ego and Pretender class. You do technically have a defense advantage over bringing Berserkers. You’d bring Alter egos against multiple cavalry class enemies, that way your one attack servant can deal with them all. Pretender is the same for Knights. If it’s just riders, bring an assassin. But if it’s all three for example, then you do have an advantage of bringing an Alter Ego. I’ll admit, the damage between them and Berserkers is noticeable, but it isn’t bad enough for me to claim they are bad servants as a result.
To be fair they both do 2x damage to certain classes,so they are still good in certain fights. I mean if people are fine with using Avenger in normal fights they shouldn’t be criticising Alter ego and Pretender for that 1.5 damage modifier.
@@masterbeta4480 RIGHT? I love the avenger servants, but I only use them against Ruler and sometimes Berserkers. Hell I use my Foreigners if I’m against waves with berserkers and whatever else. Mainly my Hokusai though.
they are not bad units , their class is just among the weakest due to their amount of atk disanvatage while lacking def advantage and not doing full class dmg
@@morsayxd those two classes do possess full class advantage against certain class like most of the other classes do , they just happen to do more damage against three more classes, I do not think it is necessary to call them weak as they do 2x damage against berserker and the class they are strong against like the other classes do.
@@morsayxd hence why they work a pseudo berserkers. Against multiple cavalry classes, they has 1.5 damage and take neutral, instead of 2.0 damage and taking 2.0.
I definitely agree with Oberon's rank here. He just has too many demerits that actually matters and those aren't small demerits. He is the best waver replacement, not koyan light replacement. You bring him for the last turn (in 99.999% cases). That's the only thing he is good at. So, placing him in ex+ tier along with other 4 ex+ tier servants so far would have been an issue with me, especially no way he is as good as castoria and koyan light. So, if he isn't as good as them, he shouldn't be in the same tier as them. Should people even ask to put oberon in the same tier as castoria?
The fact remains that Oberon fills a niche nobody else in the game can fill, and that's as a support with 70% charge that can force all 30% chargers to loop. On top of one of the strongest damage buffs in the game. There are so many farming compositions that can only be made to work with Oberon. I don't think it's at all about apples to apples comparisons and it's really silly to think of it that way.

@@asmmahfuz8569 If the niche is a very powerful one yes obviously. And it is a very, very powerful niche. It effectively expands your looping capabilities in Buster twofold, it's pretty absurd. There's really no substitute for Oberon yet in Buster. Maybe one day we'll get another 70% charger, but as it stands, Oberon is the guy who can force virtually everything to loop which is invaluable to an accounts power. Way more useful to an account than anything a DPS unit can provide on their own.
@@anirudhmohanty209 koyan is a meta changing servant. She changed the gameplay. She definitely deserves Ex+. As someone who has both Koyan and Oberon, I'll never put them in the same tier. Yes, Oberon allows more damage for 1 turn. But nowadays, wave 2 or even wave 1 have very hp secondary boss. But you can't use Oberon there. With oberon, you just get high damage in the last turn. But with Koyan, you get the benefits from the start. if you are so proud of Oberon's high damage, try him without Koyan in those level 90+ nodes where there is a secondary boss. See if your dps can clear the node or not assuming your dps isn't very high np level because Myst considers only np1. You will see the difference between these 2
Abbigail on B, no complain. She's not great but also not bad, her skill CD does took too long and can't do Buster Chain but quite a decent support for farming/Berserker fighting. Edit: Just like you said, her NP charge is not that great even with Art chain. From 50% NP charge CE to full require at least 2 crit.
I have now watched every single one. It's a great compendium with explanation for when you accidentally roll that one servant you didn't want. Also I am so sad to see Abby being this shafted for no reason. Such an awesome NP deserves a better kit.
Just saying , it is always better to test a unit yourself instead of following blindly someone else opinion and on paper , i used both abby a lot and i can tell you they definitely deserves more credit than myst is giving them , he rant about summer abby for example when hokusai with lower base dmg and less utility is far above her , base abby is not only a dps but can be used as a dedicated support , touhou snipper once used her for his farming setup , another example he put kiara so high when her dmg is lower than okita alter , she is less consistent and even if she wanted to np spamm she would have to sacrifice her survavibility to do so , making her survivavibility worse than okitan too. Not trying to say "oh this dude capping " , but a tier list is not perfect and always has room for debate , it is always better to do your own tests.
Kingprotea's best case scenario for her 2nd skill is: use NP when first and 3rd skill is active, then next turn use 2nd skill if she has enough stacks to NP 2 times in a row. It's awkward but honestly she does big boy damage.
90++ nodes and 3 million hp super bosses would beg to differ. Oberon is simply too strong of a damage steroid to be anywhere less than EX+ at this point of the game where break bar isn’t just the only problem, but also bosses just having high hp.
Seeing Sitonai close to Meltryllis is painful but I get your point. I absolutely believe Melt is the superior alter ego and Sitonai just gets carried by Castoria but I cant disagree with her placement

As someone who has a level 110 Van Gogh, glad to see she gets the recognition she deserves. Even NP1 is absolutely insane, I literally never take her out of my party (well, mainly bc she's my waifu, but also bc she can always carry out clean up if shit hits the wall).
Oberon to me is more of a servant that enables your comp to win "harder" with omega numbers on the last wave. really good at what he's supposed to do in providing more dmg steroids. other than that, doesn't offer much of anything else imo.

@@whorifiied Pairing her with servants like Merlin or Castoria can literally invul loop and turtle through basically anything in the game. Slow and requires you to have some other pretty rare servants but even if you aren't using her for stall memes she's a really good servant. Worth it if you got some other good buster units no doubt.

As an abby fan it hurts to see her so low but it's true. She could really use an np buff, the buff removal sounds nice but in practice there are so many bosses with unremovable buffs so she loses one of her major upsides. It just needs to do more.
She's also kind of stuck in the middle of support and dps, maybe an np upgrade could give her some more utility on top of the damage buff so she's better at both.
Summer abby is just a big oof.
Yes van Gogh is top tier, both in gameplay and in charm.

Haephasteon's niche is 90+ node farming, and even on the most recent JP lotto it was a boon. She can still be used against bosses pretty effectively, but the niche she owns is 3-1-x or 1-1-x node farming and I was surprised you didn't mention it. The Caster damage mod niche is also very valuable for 90+ nodes as well, since it just broadens the amount of use applications for irregular node farming. She's only going to age better with time as more 90+ nodes need to be solved for 6CE down the line.

@@Luca-yb4sh like almost all unit has their flaws but the flaws doesnt justify her placement , now we talking about ssr foreigners she is not the weakest , for st version she is a hard hitting dps with one of the highest atk in the game caping at 13k+ if foued , her np is a hard hitting one , i dont know what the hell myst is talking about , not only that but she can be used as a dedicated support , so she is more versatile than xx and hit hard without an upgraded np which makes her better , her np gain was her main problem but it was fixed through the 30% battery , when we talk about summer abby if you didnt know she has the third highest np dmg among all the aoe foreigner voyager being lower and hokusai having the lowest base np dmg out of all the ssr servants dues to weak amount of steroid , summer abby is very versatile and consistent , she can work as a dedicated support just like her st self or be a main dps or be a farmer , she definitely better than her st self since she has more usage , better gain stats and her terror skill is better , in summary summer abby is better in cq in general , voyager is better in farming since his np is weaker but gives party charge and hokusai is mainly relevant against man attribute ennemy where she is better than both , in summary molay is the best , followed by koyan , and the 3 other aoe are relative in power , i would say , i have a lot of exp with summer abby and i am sure even more than myst since mine is bond 8 and i have been using her consistently not just putting her in the back , in solo , farming or as a secondary dps , and she is great even if she is not as good as molay or vitch , a lot of peoples have just no exp with her and buy others opinion or just go for a quick look at the wiki instead of actually using the unit , or they are just bad at scaling cause i am sure a lot of peoples do not even know jinako outdamage hokusai on base and that she needs to use her unique skill to mitigate her dmg which can slow her down
seeing gogh in EX+ made me remember when a friend ranted about how she was just a worse skadi with a weird gimmick or something like that, even though i always told him that she's better as a dps, kinda makes me wanna see his reaction to this lol
These videos have been very helpful for someone like me that's just came back to FGO without even finishing Okeanos. More knowledge on servants and possible servants you'd want to save up. These list are easier to understand than most guides out there. Looking forward for the list next year!

Yeah defo disagree with the Oberon part. The man's single handedly was able to make Servants do out of this world damage on that one turn and is the only Servant to be able to provide a 70% battery. Sure his only use may be as a plugsuit support in farming let's be honest but on that one final 3rd wave, he easily enable practically any Buster Servant (or Arts/Quick for that matter) to blow the enemies away.

Also completely agree on Oberon's placement. He's amazing for sure, but he comes with strict conditions, and his personal damage isn't enough (all he has is NP damage and that final turn buster buff). He's a supplementary servant for your meta support, which now requires 2 limited 5* servants.

Still, good tierlist. Kinda bummed out that Passionlip is placed in B+, she's definitely an A or higher in my list, but I can see why you put her where she is. I prefer a more defensive team and a healer servant is very rare in FGO, so I always praise her highly. Plus I love her personality (yes, definitely not bcuz of booba, those are just bonus)
Great list Myst as usual. But in Gao's defense, in a team comp, losing your growth stack before the cd comes back up, is not that big of a demerit. Sure it's awkward as hell, but you'll probably use 2nd skill when you either don't have 1st skill active to just reduce 3rd skill cd, or use it on 5 stacks or more to atleast guarantee a 100% NP, with at max 4T/less than half the down time of 1st skill. ;)
On top of that, with 3 targets on the field, low chance of KP having lower HP than her OG stat on t5/more. So using 2nd skill early is just a nice HP reset, when you can stack that HP back up in a few turns. Unless you're running Gong/Kerry aside her to fully utilize her big NP resistance with their taunt :'v
I'm kinda glad that it's just NP resist up instead of Def Up, if it was Def Up that would be REALLY, a TRAGEDY :'v
Now, in Solo runs tho, you can safely say that It's 'Useless' except for T1 (3/2/1 skill usage on first turn) and every 9T of 1st skill activation. Shout out for Gao to be able to solo Sheba Debt CQ and the Akiba CQ.
IF, they ever decided to buff her 2nd skill, I kinda prefer for it to heal per stack if somehow during those 10/less turns of growth, KP managed to be damaged to below her OG HP (solo run). And who knows, as addition, maybe make it 2T cooldown reduction. ;)

After the final adjustments I agree with all this tier's placements
For Bazett please bare in mind that her np best case, she does 1800% on np1 (3000% on np5) plus the extra effects of 10% attack up on that turn, 30% quick resist down and about 35 crit stars. This makes her np easily the best single-target in the game and her best case can be pretty easily ensured with a skill seal support (like taikoubou).
Additionally, she may well have the best upstairs stats in the game (jack tier star gen, godly np gen, 3rd highest attack stat, highest quick hits in the game). All her skills and passives are also excellent.
I think she should very easily be in EX tier.
Totally agree, its like most of these people that judge bazett poorly havent really used her extensively. Her np dmg on asingle enemy is extremely high and also guarantees massive crits next turn.
Super easy to loop with her but sometimes particularly when paired with skadi, the enemy dies to the ensuing crits after casting the np
I love her, her internals are even better than okita from my experience!
That's fair but I feel like you still need to babysit her a lot more than other top DPS, which is the only reason more or less why I didn't place her there.
I do recognize her massive damage potential though, don't get me wrong.
@@alispeed5095 having her at np2, i can say that its pretty hard to keep her around without killing her, unless you are using castoria or def-based support, she'll die quickly. without any form of protecton she'll take hits at neutral and its gonna suck for her. she is just not really suitable for long fight. not to mention her np is practically rng-based, even if you are bringing taikobou, his skill seal will have a downtime as well

l may not be a CQ enjoyer but am aguy that appreciates servants with insane internals with okita saber being my fav servant, now bazett joins her :)
If bazett sucks in long fights then dont take her to fights that cant be ended fast. We all know she is a min turn servant. Speed is her game. If the fight forces a slugfest, take the chinese emperor. Bazett has her roles where she excels, take her to those.
l have recently been enjoying farming with her in those cavalry nodes and its pretty chill.
An ST servant that is also capable of AOE farming? sign me up. That means l dont need to waste SQ grabbing servants to fill those niches. She has me covered.
This is massive strength that stands out to me but l can understand if you dont care about this.
Bazett isnt perfect but, no servant is.

i agree with u for Oberon in Ex. he feellike topping support. buster farming viable cuz victh not him but he make it better. he can use on everycard type but he can't replace mainsupport.
he give big burst at the end and he does really good on this job. but it not good enough for Ex+ if u compare what Castoria can do.
incase u can't use same servant Oberon still not 2nd pick most ppl pick Castoria instead.
Castoria great on most situation even on other cardtype. 30% partybattery/target invincible / party invincible /remove debuff.

and most of them have great skill if who ever in this class get np buff it can ez out dmg normal class.
imo Aterego / Pretendor quite bad if u stuck with no Grail / Np1.
but if u invest on this class it can be stronger than normal class Np1 especially on farming since u don't need def advantage.

Another week and the last tier list video. It's been a fun ride while it lasted Myst, and it's made the last couple months of working alone on Saturday in the lab more entertaining.
I don't have many of these class servants personally, but Yang and MHXX are both pretty fun to use and solid. Okita Alter is my only Alter Ego and honestly I think her star gen and crit potential with her first skill up help to outweigh her weaker np a bit. Anyway, hope you're feeling better Myst and I'd love to see some more longform content like this in the future!
Well shout out for the effort , definetely praisable , out of all the tier list tho , caster and rider are probably the only one i absolutely agree with , with some maybe debatable placement , the rest of the tier list is , yeah not great imo , but like always good luck with future videos , a tier list about most fun unit to use could be cool in the future

Ortanax mashu I don't like as much as normal mashu but it has grown on me in the lb 5 story using her to bust down enemies as a DPS sub.
Yeah I see Abigail get hyped over a bunch but like nobu avenge before her many many many many buffs she doesn't cut even the basics. Same as Jaques who is basic after okita saber alter summer was what quick aoe should be like.
Ashiya is a perfect villain and kit. It's just so cool and Kiara same don't like her but kit came up so much from where she started.
Man how I wish I had sitonai and she deserves a buff not because she is weak but because she does need something to give her a boost. A np buff would do just that. Love my melt np 2. Can't wait for her buff on na.
Mhxx solid but wish they didn't make her star bomb take away stars. That needs to be changed and give crit damage too.
For MHXX you can get around that by giving the star weight command codes to her Arts cards (armament of Victory & blue illusion command spell), which p much negates the weight debuff entirely in my experience. That said imo she really needs more buffs to justify using her, like an Arts Up or Crit Dmg Up like you said. Rn she’s basically an inferior Astraea.
@@radicool21 wouldn't call her astrea who has a built in damage cut being a ruler and her def skill doubling on that. More so just a beat stick who gimps easy. I got mhxx at np 4 so her damage is fine with me but her cards need work. The arts buff and star weight reduce skill being removed would make her a nuke

@@ivanbluecool oh yeah I didn’t mean that she is similar to Astraea per se, but more that Astraea does everything that MHXX does but better. Ignore Invul, stars, arts loop, neutral damage on most classes, etc plus much more defensive and face card utility. MHXX doesn’t have a proper niche of her own yet unfortunately, other than the Threats Against Humanity mod which Castoria already gives, and Berserker defense advantage which is pretty underwhelming in comparison.
@@shamimansari9940 Columbus is just boring is why he is hates plus Japanese biase is always a thing and ashiya is the definition of that as well as agartha was a disgusting story where nobody was good aside the cross dressers.
Ashiya is also the only alien god servant to stay true to being evil. Vitch was terrible as her ending and meaning was a boring dumb plot where it made no sense and she was amazing as a character but fell flat while muramasa switched sides which drops points for me. Kirie is up in the air but ashiya got it down right.

The best thing about OG Mash is she can loop and stack her NP with just 3rd skill Arts Chain or even NPQA/NPBA Chain.

kiara douman and oberon, ex as expected, their kits and everything else about them screams ex tier
KP being in A was a bit of a surprise, could have gotten A+ for me, EX if i am totally biased, i got sold on her survivability, being able to increase max hp then np gauge full then rinse and repeat. She's a game changer for me when i first used her from my friend's support
surprised that og abby is in high tier than summer abby but maybe cause of her stun unlike the sleep one, besides i like og abby better.... since i pretty much 9/9/9 her already (got no lores as of the moment lel)

In defense of Abby, I find her to be really splashable into a lot of teams for her party buffs and utility, even if you're not going to have her in the frontline for the whole fight because of her cooldowns (works as a plugsuit support since all of her skills have value after she leaves.) Her damage buffs are really nice, she has the unique benefit of giving your DPS some additional NP charge even after she's been swapped out, and the terror tends to have a really high chance of activating in my experience. The Atlas Mystic Code also helps her a bunch as a DPS.
Though, it's kind of funny that her drain skill is a worse version of a skill that Angra Mainyu has. He reduces an enemy's attack by 30% instead of 20%, but has a 6 turn CD instead of 7 turns. Nice game design.

And with this I have now watched all of your tier lists from beginning to end! This was a really nice podcast style of content, really enjoyed all of them. I said it in the beginning but I'll say it again, I think you're pretty good at judging a servant's strengths and weaknesses (Yes, I agree Oberon should be EX not EX+). There is a bit of bias in some of your grailed units (most notably Jinako and Hijikata) but hey it's YOUR tierlist after all and not everyone else's.
Hope you do this next year as well, and if you happen to get Plushie or anyone else it might make for some interesting conversations.

What I appreciate about Myst's Tier lists is that they try to be objective as possible, while not suffering from "late-video opinion fatigue" like other tier lists i've seen. What I mean by that is getting loopy around hour 2, making Abby EX, and forgetting the premise of the Tier list in the first place. All of these were excellent, great job

Late to the party but I managed to watch/listen to every single one of these this last week. Just wanted to say that these were amazing and i’m looking forward to if/when you do these again!
The only criticism I have was I thought you were a little generous overall across the board for alot of servants. This made alot of the lower tier categories namely below C+ a little redundant and empty. Adding extra tiers mid stream like EX+ etc… also kind of made that balance of lower tiers a little pointless and added to the bias towards the upside. But at the end of the day it’s all for fun.
Either way, looking foward to more, they were very informative and entertaining.

Thank you for all these amazing lists; I never expected to watch more than 10 minutes of the first one, let alone 8 full three-hour+ servant marathons. It would have been nice to follow these live on Twitch since your chat is pretty great and there's some good dialogue going on too. Very much enjoyed the run and I think we all learned something from the experience.

If Hokusai got an NP buff and a new effect she’d be easy EX tier. I personally love her, I’d personally put my lv100 NP2 one in A+. But under these circumstances it’s fair in A.

Id put counter argument about the two actually being equal more IMO.
Giving out a couple reasons here,
One, Her NP puts Curse AFTER the damage, not before so it doesn't work for looping, Second, Voyager's self NP battery is kinda 70% vs Molay's 50%. Don't forget that Voyager's on his NP thus if he loop three times in a row he actually gives 20% per turn and his allies have an easy 60%. 90% if you use Waver.
Yes Jacques have the better hard defense with that shared invul, but he has debuff immune in return, also that Triple buff types? They are kinda small in the grand scheme of things, the 400extra atk stat probably differentiate their NP damage more than it.
Edit: ah yeah her Np up is 3 turns, at leas on that aspect she is dealing better thamage on turn 3.just a tad, but better still.
In the end, IMO Voyager fits a looping CQ team better than Jacques IMO, for example, he's one of the few quick servants that's able to make use of Okky+Skadi team to its full potential, as he's actually also charging their NP with his loops, basically fixing the only weakness Skadi and Okky have since their inception. Not being able to Snowball their NP.
Jacques doesn't add much in a CQ versus Voyager IMO, just a more consistent 50% bonus damage on cursed, high hp enemies, and maybe a bit more survivability and damage from the supports also, but that's not active 100% of the time either. And the bonus damage and survivability thing kinda become moot when Voyager can enable Double skadi to double buff team damage with her atk up for 5 whole turns now. Not to mention the bonus 1 hit aoe evade + 3T damage cuts.
Jacques' own merit IMO is less beneficial if weighted upon being able to fix Skadi, the current Quick premier support's main weakness, and actually make Waver able to NP on turn 3 also as a bonus.
myst will you update your lists when new servants come out? Personally I would appreciate it since I enjoy your breakdowns of servants.
I mean it seems so considering he did it for the tesla and edison buffs but that could also be because he likes tesla

I don't really have plans of adding completely new servants, but with some new buffs I might show a tier list bit again too like I have done recently with Buff Breakdowns.

I may as well state my opinion on Alter Ego and Pretender class. You do technically have a defense advantage over bringing Berserkers. You’d bring Alter egos against multiple cavalry class enemies, that way your one attack servant can deal with them all. Pretender is the same for Knights. If it’s just riders, bring an assassin. But if it’s all three for example, then you do have an advantage of bringing an Alter Ego.
I’ll admit, the damage between them and Berserkers is noticeable, but it isn’t bad enough for me to claim they are bad servants as a result.
To be fair they both do 2x damage to certain classes,so they are still good in certain fights.
I mean if people are fine with using Avenger in normal fights they shouldn’t be criticising Alter ego and Pretender for that 1.5 damage modifier.
@@masterbeta4480 RIGHT? I love the avenger servants, but I only use them against Ruler and sometimes Berserkers. Hell I use my Foreigners if I’m against waves with berserkers and whatever else. Mainly my Hokusai though.
they are not bad units , their class is just among the weakest due to their amount of atk disanvatage while lacking def advantage and not doing full class dmg
@@morsayxd those two classes do possess full class advantage against certain class like most of the other classes do , they just happen to do more damage against three more classes, I do not think it is necessary to call them weak as they do 2x damage against berserker and the class they are strong against like the other classes do.
@@morsayxd hence why they work a pseudo berserkers. Against multiple cavalry classes, they has 1.5 damage and take neutral, instead of 2.0 damage and taking 2.0.
I definitely agree with Oberon's rank here. He just has too many demerits that actually matters and those aren't small demerits. He is the best waver replacement, not koyan light replacement. You bring him for the last turn (in 99.999% cases). That's the only thing he is good at. So, placing him in ex+ tier along with other 4 ex+ tier servants so far would have been an issue with me, especially no way he is as good as castoria and koyan light. So, if he isn't as good as them, he shouldn't be in the same tier as them. Should people even ask to put oberon in the same tier as castoria?
The fact remains that Oberon fills a niche nobody else in the game can fill, and that's as a support with 70% charge that can force all 30% chargers to loop. On top of one of the strongest damage buffs in the game. There are so many farming compositions that can only be made to work with Oberon. I don't think it's at all about apples to apples comparisons and it's really silly to think of it that way.

Yeah, you don't put a servant among the best of the best if he fills a niche. Obviously, he is good for filling that niece, that's why he is in Ex tier.
@@asmmahfuz8569 Thing is that "niche" is important as farming is 90% of the game. I think Ex is fine for Oberon as Waver and Skadi were Ex as well. I don't think Koyan should have been Ex+ though.
@@asmmahfuz8569 If the niche is a very powerful one yes obviously. And it is a very, very powerful niche. It effectively expands your looping capabilities in Buster twofold, it's pretty absurd. There's really no substitute for Oberon yet in Buster. Maybe one day we'll get another 70% charger, but as it stands, Oberon is the guy who can force virtually everything to loop which is invaluable to an accounts power. Way more useful to an account than anything a DPS unit can provide on their own.
@@anirudhmohanty209 koyan is a meta changing servant. She changed the gameplay. She definitely deserves Ex+. As someone who has both Koyan and Oberon, I'll never put them in the same tier.
Yes, Oberon allows more damage for 1 turn. But nowadays, wave 2 or even wave 1 have very hp secondary boss. But you can't use Oberon there. With oberon, you just get high damage in the last turn. But with Koyan, you get the benefits from the start. if you are so proud of Oberon's high damage, try him without Koyan in those level 90+ nodes where there is a secondary boss. See if your dps can clear the node or not assuming your dps isn't very high np level because Myst considers only np1. You will see the difference between these 2

Abbigail on B, no complain. She's not great but also not bad, her skill CD does took too long and can't do Buster Chain but quite a decent support for farming/Berserker fighting.
Edit: Just like you said, her NP charge is not that great even with Art chain. From 50% NP charge CE to full require at least 2 crit.
I have now watched every single one. It's a great compendium with explanation for when you accidentally roll that one servant you didn't want. Also I am so sad to see Abby being this shafted for no reason. Such an awesome NP deserves a better kit.
Just saying , it is always better to test a unit yourself instead of following blindly someone else opinion and on paper , i used both abby a lot and i can tell you they definitely deserves more credit than myst is giving them , he rant about summer abby for example when hokusai with lower base dmg and less utility is far above her , base abby is not only a dps but can be used as a dedicated support , touhou snipper once used her for his farming setup , another example he put kiara so high when her dmg is lower than okita alter , she is less consistent and even if she wanted to np spamm she would have to sacrifice her survavibility to do so , making her survivavibility worse than okitan too. Not trying to say "oh this dude capping " , but a tier list is not perfect and always has room for debate , it is always better to do your own tests.
I dolphinned for NP3 MHXX and did not regret it, she kills pillars good especially with castoria and support tammy secret sauce.

Kingprotea's best case scenario for her 2nd skill is: use NP when first and 3rd skill is active, then next turn use 2nd skill if she has enough stacks to NP 2 times in a row. It's awkward but honestly she does big boy damage.

90++ nodes and 3 million hp super bosses would beg to differ.
Oberon is simply too strong of a damage steroid to be anywhere less than EX+ at this point of the game where break bar isn’t just the only problem, but also bosses just having high hp.
I'm so hyped for van goh, mostly because I want to steamroll CQ's with her, osakabehime, and skadi.
How come we have Summer Abby who's kit is so Pepega and then we have Van Gogh's immaculate super well-designed skillset
Seeing Sitonai close to Meltryllis is painful but I get your point. I absolutely believe Melt is the superior alter ego and Sitonai just gets carried by Castoria but I cant disagree with her placement
If Melt ever gets a solid NP buff or they make way better Quick support options, she would surely rise to EX

As someone who has a level 110 Van Gogh, glad to see she gets the recognition she deserves. Even NP1 is absolutely insane, I literally never take her out of my party (well, mainly bc she's my waifu, but also bc she can always carry out clean up if shit hits the wall).
Oberon to me is more of a servant that enables your comp to win "harder" with omega numbers on the last wave. really good at what he's supposed to do in providing more dmg steroids. other than that, doesn't offer much of anything else imo.
i think it does offer a lot of things but you have better option than him. so i can understand your point.
Honestly, the main reason to use Ortinax is just that double taunt.
that's 2 single target NP's she can block for the rest of your servants.
