I have a potted salad garden on my porch. Spinach, lettuce, chives, tomato’s, sugar snap peas, zucchini and yellow squash. For squash make sure you have over 3 gallons of soil in your container. I walk out & water every morning and snack on the garden for my breakfast lol. Especially the leafy green can be harvested older growth first & provide a couple months of fresh greens. I just want to encourage people to try growing something for themselves. The food you grow yourself ALWAYS tastes a thousand times better than store bought.🤭✌️💕
😂 absolutely and it is a greater reward because you can keep yourself and the plants going forever, essentially. My father taught me all kinds of gardening secrets when I was younger. That is so sweet and cute! I'm canning tomatoes today. I've gardened for many years. I didn't tie my tomatoes up enough and many have fallen over in the storms we've had. Radishes are wonderful roasted and can be planted every couple of weeks so you have them all season long and even past frost. Try spraying neem oil, or copper spray for the powdery mildew. You have a lovely garden and the mini greenhouse is just a delight.🌻

I love the miniature greenhouse. it's magical... and you do have forget-me-not ..it's just flowering late I have it in abundance in my garden and some of it flowers over summer but not as much as the spring... it's always a good to remove the lower leaves on tomatos to help air circulation and deter blight ... but it's all looking very productive on your allotment 🙂

U should try food grade diatomaceous earth powder to sprinkle on your vegetables in the garden, it works well on bug control. NO poison. Milk spraying on leaves kills powder mildew.
How lovely. After reading about a British allotment being ransacked, I'm so glad yours is safe. By the way, borage flowers are yummy in salads, soups, desserts, and teas. A pure, sweet, cucumber flavor. I've enjoyed edible flowers for many years. Unfortunately, due to physical limitations I haven't been able to garden, or forage, for three years. One day...I so hope. Once again, a wonderful video.

I "grow" mini plants out of paper and other stuff, so I am LOVING your mini greenhouse project! ❤ Plants and Gardening either in real or in mini, is So Very Satisfying especially when you get your hands in the dirt! A word of advice from years of experience: Real Dirt should always be baked for a minute or two in your oven or microwave to kill any microorganisms which may be living in it. Also, another good a substitute for real dirt which many mini gardener like to use, is oven-dried tea or coffee grounds. One or the other or even a mix of the two, will provide you with an excellent supply of mini topsoil for all your future mini greenhouse needs. 🥰

Well how delightful was that little greenhouse. The flowers you've managed to collect so far, looked so pretty sat comfortably in their new surroundings. Along with all the extra little nick nacks. They help so much to make things look realistic. I laughed when i saw your greenhouse. You should see ours. Its full at the moment with a grape vine which has gone nuts this year. Plus, marrow and pumpkins growing on the floor. Its like a jungle in there. 😊🌿 I always say, if you don't see me for a few hours...send a search party in after me. A tigers probably got me More likely one of our cats. Not many tigers near Manchester. Enjoy the fruits of your labour ladies. Nothing beats home grown. 😋 xx

If you have enough radishes you must try them roasted with butter also on butter bread with salt is nice. Your miniature greenhouse is super realistic a little basket with mini flowers and a pair of the"scissors" you make would look like someone had been cutting flowers for the vases in her (dolls) house. Sweet 😊 Have either of you ever had fried green tomatoes? They are good but the sun ripened ones are so good 😍 fresh tomato sandwiches 😋 are Summer to me. Us Italians eat the male courgette flowers , You take the stamen out carefully, then dip in batter , you can put mozzarella inside and fry. Yummy.My grand dad would tell me, you plant your seed potatoes at the new moon. Lovely video.

Hello lovely ladies . I really enjoyed this. As a girl i would mix a crumbled stock meat cube with glue to make fake soil or could use a bit of gravy browning . After i would cut up bags to make compost bags then fill with the soil. The veg looks lovely and i would love to see you make pickles infact i would enjoy watching you do anything . You are always entertaining and educational to watch. You work so hard. I like your nail colour kate. I also like your cords. I cant tell what is different about you fleur? Whatever it is you look well on it , also love your bee boots. I use to make easy things for my mini green house built next to my doll house. The roof i use to make with empty sandwich containers. Cut up old newspaper s would make for mats on potting table and seedling holders , just mold round fingers or paint brush or the like and cover the bottom and stick. You could always use paper flowers if you didnt want to use real flowers the bonus is you can also use them on nails. Water mixed with washing up liquid with get shut of aphids, greenfly is the only tip i were given as a young one when it comes to organic gardening add to can or spray , rinse after use. Beet soup i have tried yummy. I cant understand people who say radish is for presentation only , its a waste if you ask me. Have you measured your sunflower i wonder? . Well done on reaching 15000. Love all your projects no matter the size. Look forward to seeing you again. Oxo.

You need to take the side shoots out of your tomatoes so they are not so bushy. The toms will get bigger too if you do this. I love the little greenhouse and you made it look so good with all the bits and bobs you put in it. Lovely truely great. I like seeing you at the allotment as well. Stay safe and happy growing.

Beetroot chutney is delicious. It’s really tasty served as a vegetable on a cooked dinner,along with potatoes etc.

You need to take the side shoots out of your tomatoes so they are not so bushy. The toms will get bigger too if you do this. I love the little greenhouse and you made it look so good with all the bits and bobs you put in it. Lovely truely great. I like seeing you at the allotment as well. Stay safe and happy growing.
