So many beautiful sunflowers 🌻 still in bloom. It is pouring rain ☔️ here today but a cuppa and catch up works too. Fab compost in the making 👍. You have so many tomatoes 🍅 still good job. My melon died in the excessive heat of early summer but I’ll try again next year. Stunning harvests again, have a wonderful weekend, Ali 🥶☔️☔️🇨🇦
Everything still looks so beautiful, especially the flowers and pumpkins. I see you caught the culprit lol I love the cam footage, it always makes me laugh. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 😸
@@shanamoon5785 haha yes I discovered who was moving the water station 🦊🤣, they seem to find it great fun, it’s just a plastic tray! I love bringing the camera home to look at what they’ve been up to in the week 😊. Have a great weekend 🍂🍁
I'm really loving your videos do you compost stuff? What's your method pleases I just chuck the weeds and soil in with the chickens to turn over ready in 2 days happy gardening Richardx
@@RichardTaylorgardening glad you enjoy the vlogs, yes I compost nearly everything that I can, just not very thick roots. I use cardboard and green waste, a mix of both to build up the layers.😀
You can harvest the fennel now as baby veg! This is what i did this year as i had a feeling it was getting ready to bolt, due to the random weather. You can get fennel varieties which do grow biggish bulbs but personally i prefer them young and smaller. I think they are tastier. Hope that helps.
@@Allotment_life You can steam them or roast them( foliage chopped off first). I like to slice thin and use in a salad or roast them. Some nice dishes can be made with fennel! The smaller they are the tender they are also. Don`t forget, you can eat the feathery tops! Nice garnish.
