- Lynn Pratt (1926-2002) from Sugar Tree, Tennessee. His dream was to become a country star after watching the Grand Ole Opry as a child in the 1930s. He auditioned for Sun Records in the mid 1950s and recorded some demos but Sam Phillips was not interested in releasing any of his songs. He then decided to set up his own record label. Hornet records was located at his home in Lexington, Tennessee. He released 4 Rockabilly & Hillbilly records between 1956-1959. His first record "Tom Cat Boogie" sold well locally but none of the following singles had any success.
