Well if A is the verb, it's “How much I would an AI A if an AI could A I?” Or if I is the verb, it's “How much A would an AI I if an AI could I A?” Can't have it both ways!
I’ve been a sys admin for 25 years and every company I have ever worked for tracks everything you do on your computer. Every website, etc. They need this information in case they are part of the lawsuit or to meet certain government regulations. You have no privacy when you are using Work equipment.
We need "BAD, NO, DON'T DO THAT", "go east from the philiipines........Iceland" ,"nobody's ever complained abou-, yes they have" and 100% "There are...... laws" on the podcast NOW
The bit where Marques just goes "OOhh, so you are saying that..." then ends it with "Google does that" is the best clip of all time. it's too funny the way he tone it lmaoo
I worked on a security team at one point. We knew everything you did on your computer from the exact websites to the processes running. Don’t do personal stuff on a work computer.
20:09 Useful Recall scenario - filling out your timesheet. If you are having trouble remembering what you were working on, use recall to help remember and fill out the timesheet with a better description of the activity.
Soundboard vote. Not in the options but the one where Marques says "You can't say that" while smiling should be in there. You can play that on anything 🤣
Soundboard vote 1. Go east sorry no doesn't matter which way you go.... 2 there are laws 3 you could you sure as hell can. All these are very funny and could be useful!
Screen shots in plain text or encrypted in one location is a security vector. If a hacker gets into your system, they know exactly where to go. It’s probably the same location on all the recall computers. It’s like Microsoft installing a honey pot on their users devices.
I like Marques's Deadmau5 shirt with the Canada ears. 37:49 You might laugh, but this is honestly how Android users feel when Apple releases something 10 years after everyone else and then acts like it's some innovative, revolutionary technology and adds insult to injury by charging an arm and a leg for it. Marques's "Ohhhh" is just so funny. It reminds me of how my baby giggles for no reason and you can't help but giggle with her because she's so cute 🥺
What Andrew said about instagram ads is so true. Those ads that pop up on your feed are literally the only ads I ever go through or click on. Those are well intergrated and not too distracting. Unskippable video ads would definitely make a lot of people to just close the app.
The 2007 iPhone was the first smartphone of its kind. In 2008, Apple introduced the App Store, a move that Google and Samsung have emulated ever since. Samsung's first touchscreen phone was released in 2008, and Google's followed in 2010, so it’s clear who copied whom first. I think "I don't really think this is working on my body, but at least my mouth is numb" from that david clip at the end would be a goated soudboard addition
No such thing most of the time if you close the video out and reopen, more often than not I get a 5 second skippable or no ad within 3 tries and if on the rare occurrence it keeps giving me unskippable I just won’t watch the video.
@@InimitaPaul I gives at least for me 30 second skip able ads in a batch of 2 and if the ad is not skip able then It gives these non skipable ads for at least 7 tries with the method you suggested
@@dragonshadow It’s the same way for me but I usually get what I want within 3, which is the 5 second skippable or no ad. That may confirmation bias because I’m a cheap who refuses to pay for premium but I’ve been doing it for many years now so I’d like to think I’ve got a handle on the frequency. I don’t completely quit out of many videos but I will open and close a video I really want to watch 20 times (much longer than the ad lol) rather than let the ads win, I’m a stubborn bar steward.
47:07 I think Gemini got an update where it now works with Google Assistant and can now do reminders and I'm not sure about all the home products, but it can turn on/off my lights and smart plugs that are connected to Google Home.
14:13 simple, you have 2 computers, one that is company computer and one that is yours. The probability of getting viruses and malware goes down significantly if employees know they can’t do dumb stuff on the PC that has company IP.
Microsoft can have a list of changes between screenshot and label them as oh we took this action to get from this screenshot to that screenshot, and share that, while keeping the screen shots private. All they need is to get how out of distribution the screen shots lie, not actual screen shots.
Been really enjoying the podcast series! I've been through a lot of the backlog now. Really enjoy the whole crew being involved too - Adam, Ellis, as well as Andrew, David and Marques!
Recall is a really nice feature to have. People are only complaining because it's Microsoft. If it was introduced by apple then everyone would have been raving about it non-stop.
Everything Google already does, but the way Apple will do it will be more refined and smooth. Same thing happened with widgets, android did it earlier but they were glitchy, buggy and terrible to use.
Addressing all Recall skepticism 1. Andrew: Banking Information LOL: So many of us have a lot of screenshots of our banking info / cards, furthermore Google/Siri knows when you receive money from notification tray, Gmail, iMessage, Apple mail, Apple and Google Pay also keeps track of your finances. 2. David: Employers have a software already that install to monitor remote worker's output and work hour 3. David: If I have remote access to your phone, I should be able to read your emails, messages, look at photos and browse your files 4. Andrew: As an admin on your phone aren't you able to look at your password stored in keychain or any other password manager. 5. Andrew: If someone gets into your account right now that you don't have Recall, are you screwed or not? 6. Marquess: It doesn't capture password as plain text, expect you toggled the see password icon during the screenshot. Now, most of us have sent password to our colleagues in plain text using unsecure protocol SMS and email. This is not new. Linus did not have Recall, but someone gained access to one of their laptop, they hijack all their browser session. You guys don't know the amount of data your browser have on you. 7. David: Microsoft will scrap a web content that you looked at, that is on the web or your photoshop / Video editing session, common these things are on the web already. Apparently, people that have tested this Recall feature hacked it from a beta build of windows on unsupported hardware. LOL.. Recall won't be coming to existing laptops. Let me leave this with you; A company is going to sell an AI camera that will record everything you see to be a better assistance, and people preordered it.
For the soundboard, could you add a little sound right before the soundboard voice so audio listeners know its from the soundboard? I got so confused at the end 😂

noted 👍
37:49 😂
That whole Marquez and David segment was crazy😂😂😂
Funniest sound in a long time. Perfect for "you don't say? meme"
Ahhh
I think Ellis claiming "I can floss my teeth with 16gb of ram" from a few episodes back could definitely be a potential sound bite on the board 😂
I was driving when I saw that part and I couldn’t stop laughing it was so funny to visualize in my head 😂😂
Yes!!!
Yes
that would be epic
+1, please!
Soundboard vote, "bad, no, don't do that"

I command ef'd to see if anyone already said that before posting it myself. One more vote for this!

“Nono bad don’t do that” has to be on the board and marques forgetting how to talk obviously 😂
i love how they lit andrew on fire for not having watched Her while marques is sitting in silence lol
It's because he PRETENDED to watch Dune just to spite Ellis... he deserved it
