I fought him with only Groudon because all my other Pokemon died to the Elite 4. And I had no revives. Lots of lemonade and a Leppa berry will get you far kids.
I love how the song incorporates Steven's general mood and beliefs, with him singing about your accomplishments while incorporating various pokemon thematics: Ancient Power (like the move), Ever Grand (Ever Grande City, the city right before Victory Road and the E4), Desolate Land, Primordial Sea (Primal Groudon and Kyogre's abilities), "It's time to prove that you've got nerves of steel" (most likely referring to one of Steven's primary types with Steel, and Metagross being part Steel), probably others I missed.

The art is dynamic with the movement of Steven's suit and Metagross behind him, and the lyrics are powerful and catchy just like Leon's - but what really gets me here is your voice range. From Steven's deep baritone/bass notes to the high ones, the contrast makes them sound all the better!
I have to love junos music. the lyrics fit perfectly with the music and have a powerful effect. If this is what he's capable of following the music, imagine what he can do if he creates his own.
Godly work! I just finished my Omega Ruby Hardcore Nuzlocke and felt that this was proving myself to Steven in that fight, with that epic music playing in the back
I like the lyrics and all, but Steven has to have my least favorite champion theme in the series. To be fair, Hoen itself doesn't have that great of a track, so yeah.

Also as I said, the music just isn't very memorable in general. All of the battle themes are interchangeable with eachother. It looks like we've found ourselves a Hoen apologist, folks!

"Desolate Land, Primordial Sea, were all of Hoenn's apogee" I find this word choice interesting because the definition of an apogee is an apex, the top of something, and I would consider Groudon/Kyogre's world-ending weather to be a serious low point for Hoenn. I'm curious what your thought process behind that word choice was.
