I realise this is old but how do I use a controller? I tried connecting my xbox controller but it didn't work. Or perhaps are u using an emulator or some other tool?
@Shtrudel dude that would be amazing explaining how this game works well definitely help the game's wep-swinging reputation from being "simplified and has no depth" in example would be kingdom hearts 2 in which people thought it was "simple and has no depth" until people speedrunners that is actually looked in to it and found it's unique elements and depth. also a fully-detailed video guide taking a lot of time is no problem as long it benefit the game and might help the community grow (i.e.kingdom hearts 2) so please don't be discourage from going all out and sharing what you know. so thank you and i hope the best for in the future.
So I recorded some tests, doing the same race with some different strats, and turns out the results are pretty identical. The main factor is my inputs. Since I want to make the comparison side-by-side, it'll take time to make the video.
It says I have 59 out of 60 races complete but I did them all and I don't see another I've done the last johnny race also, do I have to get higher ranks in a race to finally complete my last one?
I see many people complain about this, and due to the volume of comments regarding this, I suspect it might be a real issue. Up until now I used to think that you guys just missed something on the map, but I'm starting to think it's a glitch. On a similar note, someone mentioned in my comments that tokens sometimes despawn from the map (I forgot his solution for this though).

@@trapninja1759 I've never had this issue so I can't help you. The only thing I can suggest to you is to look for the missing race again, maybe there's a race without any medal that you missed?

I do everything with a controller in the entire game, except for the race at 43:23, which I do with just a keyboard.

do the swing speed level matter??
it doesn't seem to increase your speed at all or in a noticeable amount.
I only notice the difference when I go back and forth between max speed and swing speed 1/2, but it's there.

@@trapninja1759had the same thing happen to me, you just have to replay races until you find the one that was glitched and didn’t count
