I can see this being helpful for free throw shooting but not for dribble pullups for example
It helps your putting your hand placement right so you shoot with the right fingers
@@zj9764 I was taught to split the basket with your first two fingers anyways, which he kinda went over a little bit in the video. Its always worked for me but I never pay attention to the lines, what if you are shooting a ball that has no lines?
@@AcornsforbulletsIt’s inefficient to depend on the lines/seams of the ball when shooting even though that’s what people are taught. Rotating and adjusting the ball off the dribble takes a lot of time. It’s better to gather the ball with your shooting hand more on the side, not completely parallel with your guide hand though. This allows you to gather the ball evenly on all angles, then when you bring the ball up to shoot. Your shooting hand loads the same every time and actually ends up on the front of the ball almost. Give it a go. Gathering the ball on the side with your shooting hand then going up to shoot.
Btw, 100s of shots a day are not required. If you really don’t have time for that, even 100 three times a week is great. It doesn’t work as fast, but I didn’t have the time for that and I was able to get really good form with what I did. Don’t give up just cause you don’t have much time. Just do what you can. It definitely is important to start close to the basket until you have it down though.
thanks! every day i try to do something different and fine tune my shot
Hahaha do you think in the heat of the moment during the game, you have time to check if your finger is on the hole?!? 😂😂😂😂 cracks me up
That’s exactly what I was thinking 😂
When you practice having those fingers on the ball in that position, your body will naturally starts to put your hand on the ball in that formation.
@@LNReallyLikeThat sure.. when you catch the ball and shoot, how could “body naturally form”? At least I don’t see Curry adjusting his “body to form” to get the finger on the hole” 🤣
Buddy he is right
Wdym
Thank you for your examples two step handling right of fingers where part coach
You just gotta make sure you're looking down at the ball to get your finger on the hole, and not the basket you're shooring into. Every good coach teaches to stare at the ball.
Omg this guys videos really help you should definitely check him out
Like it bro

Isnt anywhere the center of the ball because the shape of the ball is a sphere?
