Caught Red Handed is a trick that has never received a big marketing push, but it has a great plot and gets great reactions. It’s essentially a color changing deck, but with a really good hook and a dumbfounding method.
I think the reason folk don’t use the brainwave deck as much as Invisible is because you never see the faces with Brainwave. At least w/ Invisible you can show all the cards are different. May I add Roy Waltons Rainbow Cascade. It’s a packet trick with the best ending ever. I’ve had so many go crazy over this as it defies logic. Even magicians get a kick out of seeing it.
How do you get those reactions? 1. People tend to overreact when in a group of friends. 2. When you know you’re on camera, you tend to play up the reaction naturally. It is quite difficult to get that screaming, running away reaction from a one-on-one performance.
You did great David ! I own invisible deck (obviously !) but you can bet your bottom dollar that I've just put all 4 tricks in my cart on vanishing and penguin for the end of the month but for now A.B.See came today so I got a lot of Spidey to sit through after my orthadoxy fix :)
Great stuff! I would add Aldo Colombini’s Have a nice day! SO GREAT and they get a wonderful keepsake momento! Lots of magic and they very rarely see that their signed card is coming!
Hi David, I love Brainwave aswell. I do Invisible Deck, say that you shoudnt do a trick twice, but... than Brainwave, with the kicker. And than B'wave 52, with a kicker kicker (its Brainwave with big cards and all cards end up blank). Now I m very interestet to learn more about the other tricks. Thnak you
@@magicorthodoxy I have an interesting idea of switching the signed bill out and giving them the tube. After that I use a pull device and the bill appears in the bill tube. Kills every time!
The Web by Jim Pace I remember Lance Burton popularized it on one of his older TV specials back in the day and the brain wave deck like you said if you have an invisible deck why aren’t you doing brainwave it’s a great trick in addition to the brainwave that I do eight card brainwave, which is another excellent trick and you can make it with an ordinary deca-cards instead of buying it, which is even better and that too has a kicker ending. What awesome stuff you got there David great cause there’s some tricks I still don’t have yet, so I hope you’ll be posting more.
When it comes to "spider reactions" I like performing with, "My Pet Boris", by Ian Pidgeon. The interaction with your cell phone is very convincing. However, you have to be VERY careful when you select your spectator. I have had some very adverse reactions with people that were Arachnophobic - not good. Incidentally, can you show a trick with a monkey actually performing it. That would be a real convincer to buy the trick, for most people. Thanks David.
Love this review David.. Huge props to Richard Sanders.. I love both Brainwave and Invisible deck but choose to use Any Card by Sanders these days.. Also, had to go down to the magic box and dust off Richard Sanders Extreme Burn 2.0. If anyone here hasn't tried it.. It slays! Love the Web by Jim Pace as well.. Bam!
Hi David. I have heard of the Brainwave deck. I have wsnted it for a long time. I need to buy a bunch of gaffed decks. I have been doin my homework.. Awhile back i searched all the gaffed decks, when i saw them all for 6.00 ea. Nobody beat their prices. I swear i just thought about them last nite before bed, to order the decks that i want. P
The Human Block Head nail in nose gets the best reactions I have ever seen but most won't do it, made famous by Melvin Burkheart. David Blaine did it on the Jon Stewart show at the start of his career. I carried a 16 penny nail for years in my wallet and used the heel of my shoe as a hammer, you can read the secret on You Tube.....
I agree you'll see more of the invisible deck than brainwave and it's a trick we all should be preforming. The number one is the one I can't remember seeing or hearing about. Thanks David!
I just got The Web in the mail today. Ordered it from Wes Isley. (If your not familiar with Wes Isley, he fooled Penn and Teller). The Web is still on his website.
With all looking for the web, I would encourage you to check out My Pet Boris. It’s an app but essentially the same routine. I think I was told that many places refuse to carry Jim Pace’s products after he was incarcerated for raping his daughter. I know there is probably a softer way to put that, but I don’t think he deserves it.
OH NO DAVID.... Visi Bill doesn't seem to available ( did a search, even checked w Penguin....they said hopefully some day) So that doesn't too hopeful to me. Do you know where I might find? No luck on Ebay either.
The Web - BIG NO -arachnophobia is one of the Top FIVE phobias - doing this trick to the wrong person can cause a severe and very unpleasant reaction - and that is not what we want as performers. I have seen at least two performers get PUNCHED, HARD, by people that they did this trick for and have seen at least one spectator have a full-on ASTHMA attack from their stress reaction to it! Not a great way to get a repeat booking.
Those are awesome tricks ! I have a packet trick by nick trouts called (Klip joint) 1974 copyright ,it’s really cool very clever and resets itself , I’m happy send you a copy of routine if your interested Thx
If you want people to do backflips run off scream push you screen curse then perform for a black audience I guarantee you you will never want to perform for anyone else!

great comment
Compared to Brainwave, isn't funny how you see more of a deck called "invisible"? >_
Try Jay Sankey's Holey Moley - it's a teleporting hole effect that happens in the spectator's hand!
yup !!!
Great effects all winners. 👍😊👍😊👍
Thank you 👍 😀👍
50k-- YES Dave!!! What a great list. Never heard of Visi-Bill-- Going to check it out. Thank you!!!
I think it's sold out everywhere - reach out to the creator and see if he has an extra copy

In Brainwave deck you will have a great reactions and kicker ending.
yes !!!
David, love the idea for this one. I get great reactions from electronic rating pen and diminishing return
Cool, thanks
Invisible deck in combination with the anything box from TCC has for me the most crazy reactions.
good tip
You outed my secret, lol! As a Vernon fan, I turned in my invisible deck years ago for Brainwave.

Thanks for sharing!!
Visi-Bill is a great DVD. I actually use the bonus content (double change) more than I have used the title bill change.
good to know !!!
Moneymorphosis is a hidden gem IMO.
i'll check it out
@@magicorthodoxyyou’ve reviewed it a long time ago lol
Great video, Uncle Dave! I hadn’t heard of the ivory connection! Thanks for sharing! 😁

Another great video, mate. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Time To Change (part of Time Is Money DVD) by Seol Park is also one of the great visual bill changes I've ever seen.
I'll have to look that one up
A trick I recently discovered that gets crazy reactions is the classic bill tube routines
Interesting!

You’re absolutely correct about The Web. After getting a couple of bad reactions I stopped doing. Is it really worth spending $10 to upset someone?
Congrats on 50K!!!!!! Made your goal!!!!

I learned a trick that looks just like Invisi-bill. It was Ransom through Magic Geek back in the day.
oh cool
I always wanted to get my head around Brainwave. It does seem to be a bit better than the similar trick which I have
it's so good
Not sure if I’m describing it right but there’s colored sticks and you can tell which one the spectator touched? Can’t remember the name
interesting
I’ve been trying to find visi-bill but seems to be sold out everywhere. I wish they had a download version of it instead of only DVD
great idea !!!
David there is a trick called Brainstormer by Mark Leveridge. Looks cool. Did you ever review this, if not maybe you can 😊😊
I have not seen it yet
Where do i get visi bill?? i cant find it anywhere except on penguin but its sold out there
reach out to Richard Sanders on his website

Yes, I searched and searched and finally found one magic house that had one in stock!! He said it was discontinued. Sorry my friend. Take care.
