I become chocked with emotion every time I see this, I believe that as a species, we must move beyond our petty squabbling and unite to reach the stars. Yep. They even royally fucked up the eldar during the Golden or "Dark" age of Technology. The GTU is basically the humanity and the star federation before the imperium XD.

I think it would be cool when u started a new campaign u could add the Terran colonies ship that disappear into your new campaign I think it would be fun to see citizens from what ever nation your playing reacted to the Terran colonial ship. Oh and TERRA INVICTA!!!!
I've thought for a while now that there should be a "lost colony" civic. A boost to starting technology, but a penalty to starting pops. Not sure how competitive it would be, but RP wise it would fit a few of my custom civs.

this has to be one of the best mini series written..good job templin :)

Wow, its amazing how the GTU developed a live of its own. Thanks for having us on the ride, Marc and Larissa.

Ah a TTS fan
It is 2023 and I have just finished rewatching this series. Even now I is still more compelling than any mainstream media I watch and I can not help but think that the GTU is something great. Yes founded on what can be considered the worst principles of humanity, it still shows that sometimes you need the worst to make the best. Again I congratulate the Templin Institute for taking a simple videogame and creating a universe I love.
This is so freakin epic guys
Sorry for my language...

your GTU map link is broken @The Templin Institute
I become chocked with emotion every time I see this, I believe that as a species, we must move beyond our petty squabbling and unite to reach the stars. Our squabaling is pointless in the grand scheme of things! We can establish bio-dome colony's on Luna, Mars, and beyond. If we try! Yet, nope! Must fight amongst ourselves and pointlessly waste resources.
I am re-watching this series for possibly the 10th time. However I just noticed the short clip of Cortez actual. When's this story going to be progressed?
Links are broken
Holy mother of narration! I never get tired of listening to this voice narrate! Amazing skill as always! This series and the WH40K one with Cadia are my favorite!
Thoes last view episodes, I'll be honest and say I teared up a little bit. And this is like my eighth time listening to this series.
The idea and the feeling of no matter the odds, people come together in fighting and ultimately winning through sheer force of will honestly made me cry
This is one of the best series on RUclips, hands down
You guys need to do a greater terran union flag. I would buy it immediately.
Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring series.
You can not deny that The Templin Institute is awesome.
I love this story. This would be a good a movie or TV series. :)
The GTU and your storytelling give me goosebumps like no other series can.
What an epic journey this was. Your storytelling is second to none, and only helps to show just how amazing Stellaris can be with a bit of imagination.
It would be interesting to see the GTU trying to colonize and handle the problems in the Warhammer 40k galaxy. If not, I understand for many reasons.
Or the star wars galaxy
A guardsman and GTU infantry man stand next to each other.
The guardsman say: I never thought I would die besides a non-believer.
Answer's the Infantery man:
How about dying beside a fellow human and brother-in-arms?
Guardsman : Ay, I could work with that.
My head canon is that this and 40k are the same universe, so big E is probably chilling on an island somewhere watching humanity like a proud dad
Glory to humanity.
Long love the Greater Terran Union.
It’s amazing what you can make with fan work and passion. This had me more interested than most actual series I’ve watched recently
The stories that can dynamically play out in Stellaris are always stunning and epic. This series is just one of many, many examples and I love it so much.
Thank you all so much for bringing this to us all!
So, this was how mankind looked like during the heydays of the Golden Age of Technology
Yep. They even royally fucked up the eldar during the Golden or "Dark" age of Technology. The GTU is basically the humanity and the star federation before the imperium XD.

now all we need is Stellaris Invicta 2 where the GTU invades other galaxies and goes head to head with more galaxyspanning powers
Chase Scott yes of course. they are filthy xenos and must be removed
until they get to the Xeelee universe galaxy...
I think it would be cool when u started a new campaign u could add the Terran colonies ship that disappear into your new campaign I think it would be fun to see citizens from what ever nation your playing reacted to the Terran colonial ship.
Oh and TERRA INVICTA!!!!
yeah I was like, wasn't there a colony ship that disapeared
I've thought for a while now that there should be a "lost colony" civic. A boost to starting technology, but a penalty to starting pops.
Not sure how competitive it would be, but RP wise it would fit a few of my custom civs.
I got the game 2 hours ago and now this comes out, brilliant!
All hail the Emperor of Mankind
What platform nerd, unfortunately I may only access it through Xb1.
Terra Invicta, fellow countryman!
Next season, Commonwealth of Terra? Basically new galaxy with GTU colonists on another galaxy?
Or do multiple seasons on the star empires that lost the original competition like the Solar Empire or the Soviet Union. 10/10 would watch again.
I wonder if we will do the religious empire or Soviet Union next? Maybe even an alien or machine empire? Can’t wait for the next series of Stellaris Invicta!
Soviet Union or Holy Solar Empire would be the best pick, IMO. United Federation of Nations is cool and all, but space democracy has been done a million times.
Meh, i prefer a space Roman Empire.
I remember they said they will do only human nation (for now at lease).
But really whoever won,
United Federation of Nations / Soviet Union / Holy Solar Empire or other new nations,
I still gonna watch it with joy and excitement still.

I found this series a few days ago and started watching today. This is epic af and I love every bit of it.
It gives the exact feeling of the stories of the HFY subreddit. Truly "Humanity, fuck yeah!"!
In our final victory, we stretch from star to shining star.
To be Terran is to be the apex, and from our mountain we protect our flock!
I know this has been posted for over a year and I’m a returning subscriber of Templin but damn, I cannot believe at how incredibly detailed this entire series is! Best all-nighter I’ve ever pulled just for watching videos like this.

This is what the Imperium Of Man wanted to be, Scientific Progress, United, Determined, Powerful.
Actually at its height the Imperium of Man was Scientific Progress, United, Determined, and Powerful. It was the creation of the Iron Men (AI machines) That went Cylon on them and the Fist Human civilization fell into ruin. The Imperium of Man is a sad sorry state in the shadow of the civilization that was before it. The Emperor was so close to getting all back too but then Chaos had other plans.
