Yeah, It's super expensive. Especially if you compare to the rest of France but if there wasn't so many tourists they wouldn't have to inflate the prices. You pay for the glamour of the word "Paris" more than the city itself. Which is a cool city but not that great in my opinion. I'd rather stroll through a small medieval town honestly.

As an Italian, the idea of a “real Italian carbonara” served on a cheese wheel is hilarious. I’m sure it was delicious, but it was by no mean authentic!
We went to Pink Mama and waited outside for HOURS with a long line of people behind us. It eventually started raining around the 2-3 hour timestamp and the restaurant couldn’t do anything except give us 4 umbrellas and that did nothing obviously. They finally let us in after 4-5 hours for dinner by banging the doors as an entrance but the food was good. Just not good enough to make up for the horrible fever I got a day later.

The third one looks sht. Authentic pasta would just have pasta water and the creaminess would come from the cheeze itself, it wouldn't have the cream or whatever that white stuff it was. The second one looks far better.

I ate the last one and couldn't finish it for the life of me. I felt so guilty since the staff looked at me with that disappointed sad what's wrong with the food look.but it tasted like heaven. I just couldn't eat like the third of it.
