  • I hope Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 6 Reasons Why This City Is So Cool helps you with your travel plans, especially if it's your first time visiting KL. I have been visiting the city for 10 years and always seem to find something new to enjoy on each trip. There are definitely more than 6 reasons why KL is so cool and I'll have more in another video. In reality, there are dozens of reasons to visit the city. Having lived in East and Southeast Asia for a decade I have been indeed spoiled by the amazing food of these regions. Kuala Lumpur and really Malaysia overall has a wide range of street food of Malay origin, Chinese, and Indian mixed in with foods from other ASEAN countries that have contributed to some great dining experiences. The ease of getting around to some of the districts in KL makes it a pleasurable stay as well. I could go on forever.....

    Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetary at 4:36 was founded in 1819. Malaysian legendary artist (singer and actress) Salmah Ismail (Saloma) was buried there as was her legendary husband P.Ramlee (actor, director, singer, composer). The bridge is named after her.

    Had to comment after watching your video : the Uniqlo here is made in ‘Asian’ size compared to the Europe/ USA stores. I tend to buy my clothes from the London stores where I currently reside, and when I came back home to Malaysia last week, I went to Uniqlo and bought plenty of clothes, the fit were all smaller despite being the same size / of the exact same design of clothes in M size. I had to go one up to size L and the store manager said that Uniqlo Asia makes clothes in smaller sizes compared to the West (despite labeling them the same S/M/L)!!Not sure if I explained it well there but hope you got the message 😅

    • @iamjohnsaboe
      @iamjohnsaboe  Год назад +2

      Thanks, actually I wasn’t comparing NA to Asia because you are correct sizing here is smaller. I must assume, my mistake, that because of the way I sound that people think I’m comparing one continent to another but actually I’ve been living in Asia for the past 10 years and was comparing the Uniqlo cuts from Malaysia to other countries in Asia. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment and share your experience!

    • @drjohansafree
      @drjohansafree Год назад +1

      Well in that case, your neck size problem is a mystery to us all =) (I highly doubt Malaysian sizes are smaller than other Asian countries, because judging from what I have seen of the people here (it has been 4 years since I came home), with the abundance of food in this country; we are right on track to becoming the "Americans of the East" with XXXL sizes soon to be available in stores nationwide 😅@@iamjohnsaboe

    As for Uniqlo sizes, u r right, they r not of standard sizes. Not necessarily because u r in Asia and therefore sizes r smaller. D sizes even differ frm one shipment to another of d same range of clothes. I suspect it's because of where those clothes r being manufactured. So, u'd do better to open d package and visually see whether d size is wat it says it is!!

    The building that you showed at 8:40-46 is not a mosque. That's a Sikh temple. 😁 Some do confused it with mosque as it has a dome & small minaret..
