It has a five-speed manual gearbox. 1.0 TSI 115 This engine accelerates from 0-62 mph in 10 seconds. It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but you can pay extra for a seven-speed automatic gearbox. 1.5 TSI 150 This engine is only available with Style and R-Line trims, and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 8.4 seconds. It has a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Some say the T-Cross is refined and capable for a small car. Others say it's sure-footed on the road, even in bad weather. However, some report gearbox issues, such as jerky movements and delays in gear shifting.

@Dawit_K when a similarly priced COROLLA (!) has a quality interior then I do expect a lot from a German manufacturer, bitch.
@Dawit_K I'd rather buy a used Mercedes instead of this crap.
That “storage compartment” on the back of the center console is probably where rear air vents are supposed to go on higher optioned trims.
I love the way you review vehicles..straight to the point in a very funny way😂 😂 😂
Please matt, do a rewiev of the new lotus exige 410.
Why? Do you want to buy one?
@@cnxexpat1862 My dream car, i just think its a underrated sports car.
I'd rather waste all my imaginary savings for the overpriced Audi S6 than to be seen in whatever this is
bugz1591 I agree
I like how you went "imaginary savings" 😂
Matt here serving us his hardwork on those benches 🤴🏻😜
8:25 now Thomas is your new enemy
Autogefuehl :)
Why did they use the picture of the peugeot 2008 from 2014 and not 2019 like they did for the capture
so many adverts in a relatively short video
Desperate times methinks
Why don't you mention "camping body" availability on your reviews?
I find it somewhat weird that this car is apparently referred to as a small car. 🤔
What 8 seater suv can you get in uk? Cause i cant find any on carwow Website
Ew those rims
Darius Andrey it’s nice with the energetic orange
Besides that. 16 inch wheels are too small for this car. i'd get at least 17 inch ones.
CyAn aren’t you judgemental
@@cheekypepsi8772 It's bland
I swear at 3:14 you changed from a Next t-shirt back to a Polo t-shirt?
tbh Seat Arona is much much better value... you're paying for the brand here

The Volkswagen T-Cross is not slow, but its performance depends on the engine you choose:
1.0 TSI 95
The entry-level engine, which accelerates from 0-62 mph in 11.2 seconds. It has a five-speed manual gearbox.
1.0 TSI 115
This engine accelerates from 0-62 mph in 10 seconds. It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but you can pay extra for a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
1.5 TSI 150
This engine is only available with Style and R-Line trims, and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 8.4 seconds. It has a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Some say the T-Cross is refined and capable for a small car. Others say it's sure-footed on the road, even in bad weather. However, some report gearbox issues, such as jerky movements and delays in gear shifting.
Nice review, pointless car.
Nice.handsome TRoc..
VAG is the principal sponsor of Carwow, no choice
for you. small SUV like this sells like hot cakes worldwide
john kowneque i agree. Instead of having a golf or polo and have to repaint fenders and side skirts everyyear because of road salt in winter and road rocks this small suv is the perfect solution.
If you don't have a wolkswagen than you call it pointless car once you get one you always love it
Does it come in Orange?
Dude where is this thing manufactured in? Too much cheap plasticky
Typical Volkswagen. Shame they went this route
I thought that it was with that poor interior only in South America lmao
@A real bisexual petrol-head I don't know if it's price is expensive for those who live in Europe and North America.
But imo, at least saying for Brazil, it costs a lot offering the same lack of quality. But it's more complex than it seems. Most Brazilians care more to showoff their cars to others than having just a way of mobility.
@A real bisexual petrol-head Dude, even BMW and Merc lacks quality. The new GLC is a disaster, same with outgoing GLE and even S-Class has cheap materials inside.
BMW? They will never fix sounds coming from the climate control and it even wobbles. Do I need to mention electronics issues, shitty R3 and 2.0d engines? Even the 3.0d isn´t good anymore.
This guy likes his SUV's.il recommend this channel to my mother.
Would I sound dull if I said that it's yet another dull car by VW?
VW cars are dull but Matt plugs them all the time due to being sponsored by them.Still doesn't take away the fact that VW cars are the fullest on the road along with the drivers.
MUCKSPREADER1 VW cars are rather dull, apart from the Arteon
No better start of car review then Northerner's poetry.
BTW you lost me after the rugged offroad looks with FWD only
Why did you show old 2008 insted new one... At the beginig
I like the orange color in the interior and on the rims
what does shortlisting a car mean?
The Škoda Kamiq has better quality and more equipment... and subjectively speaking a much more interesting interior design. This one's pointless.
American here. Literally what is the difference between the T-Roc and the T-Cross??? They look E X A C T L Y the same.
David Chernack sorry, but I think these models are completely diferent in terms of design, interior and size.. T-Roc is based on Golf.. T-Cross is based on Polo.. C-Pilars are totally diferent as well as the rear.. Pics and videos may give a different idea from what they really look like.. cheers!!
Did someone forget to cover the rims in the painting booth
Mat, do you think this is better than the polo (not taking price into it)
Why don't you tell, when the car is likely to be launched in the market?
You talk about everything, except the date.
it has already launched.
Don’t know about the UK, but in Croatia are lot of them already on the streets!
Could you please do bmw m8 comp vs Merc amg s63
Can´t you decide which one you want to buy?
