I have the 2021 T-Cross all black R type with 1.5 automatic and I really love it , it also comes with the 18 inch alloys , I’ve had a Polo of one type or another over the last 10 years and the Golf over the previous 15 years and I’m so glad I got the T-Cross , I was going to get the T-Rok but decided I preferred the T-Cross, would defo recommend getting the full digital display also, also take the option of having a spare tyre too

Brilliant review! Being a golf owner I can sympathise with the ‘resume and set’ button way of increasing/reducing cruise by 1kmph. Such a random thing :)
Great and detailed review, well done. Absolutely everyone criticises the hard plastics. I really don’t get it; when I first got in a T-Cross I thought it reeked of quality. It is well built and to me at least, a leather dashboard or padding is a waste of money. But I’m on my own on that one! As for the cubbyhole at the back, it’s for your AirPods. What? You don’t have AirPods?? 😆 I just bought a T-Cross and yup, it isn’t a racer, just a beautiful, practical car. It’s an absolute pleasure to drive. Keep up the good work, mate!!
I bought one two weeks ago and I really like it. Some small things I don’t like. Break noise is louder than I would like. You seem to have to turn the blower right down to turn it off. The cruise control seems to be set to increase by 10 k increments. This may sound negative and some of the issues may improve. I’ve only covered 1500k. One last thing, it’s a bit underpowered. I moved from diesel and miss the torque. Even with all this I love the car and it gets a lot of positive comments ☘️
Hey Robbie! I have a trick, you can put down by increments of 1km just get the set and res buttons on the steering wheel 😊
Hi Matt i purchased my VW T - Cross in 2019 comfortline the same one you are driving what i like on all the VW SUV range of models is the touch screens are situated in the dash board other makes of vehicles have the touch screen above the dash boared i dont like at all as it irritates me you have to look over the touch which sometimes blocks my full view of the windscreen built in touch screen much better very happy withe my car that i purchased in South Africa 2019 when it was launched imported 😊

Build quality is actually pretty good. But interior materials used are let say "cheap" but the car is build really well.

Is the Taigo among your not so distant plans?
Fair review. You might want to mention that if you take the sound package you lose the ability to lower the floor in the boot due to subwoofer placement. Which is why I bought the base model. I'm not paying for a downgrade lol

These are now cheaper than a Polo. Am I missing something? Very tempting although I have my reservations about VW.
Compare it to the CX-3 - you’ll get the same plastic dash and it’ll cost you heaps more for the Same specs- and one thing with these dashes - in 20 years time they’ll still be exactly the same.. i do get what you mean with the softer dashes - the CX-30 has them and you’ll be like $7000 more than the Tcross…

The same car (Slightly bigger ) will be launched in India by the name Taigun.
In india, this will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Taigun sounds awfully similar to the Tiguan we get here!
ConfigT it’s called Tiguan and it’s been here in Australia for quite a few years.
Tiguan is available in india, but VW launched t cross as a taigun... Both are different..

Really enjoy your videos, just wish you would use kilowatts in your videos and video covers. Instead of horsepower, no one uses this power measurement in Australia. I always have to go and google hp into kw to work it out 🤦🏼♂️😂

We test drove a Style this week and it felt like driving a chariot...so stiff and not soft and smooth at all. ..beautiful car but cheap materials inside and not so exciting...
I wonder why this SUV only has 3 cylinder and cost little of petrol? It's less than a Honda Civic..
