- So, no WASD. Our fellow Terrarian cannot walk, climb ropes, descend platforms, and a few other actions that are bound to these controls. And it's also Expert Mode now.
What kind of tricks one has to use to beat Terraria without movement keys in Pre-Hardmode?
(it would have been a full playthrough video but I wanted to go a bit more in-depth on mundane stuff like travelling across the world or mob encounters)

On a side note: This video celebrates 2 years of the channel being a thing! (as on April 30th, 2018 I uploaded my first video)
This has been an awesome ride so far, so many emotions and experiences from what seems to be merely a platform for video media.
And of course I can't miss thanking the community ❤ that was the true support through all these days, without the heartwarming feedback I'd have abandoned the duty on first dozen of videos.
I hope to be able to further keep up with the expectations and let you enjoy/learn/laugh with the variety of content!

@@DonutMaster56 No feeling is more intense than starting over. If you've run out of time on a boss, as I have, fallen down a cave and died, got poisoned trapped. The point is, starting over is harder than starting up. And if you're not ready for that, like if you have already had a bad day. Take a break and come back, I'll be here.

The absolute legend does it again. First without crafting or npcs, then a minecart, then a hard mode start while also hardcore and expert mode, then this masterpiece.

Yeah, I mention him in the beginning, and to be frank, without his video I wouldn't have even imagined doing that amazing challenge
But the thing that makes the crab better is that he is loyal to terraria whereas shyguymask is a crowd chaser, respect for the crab!

I wouldn't call shyguymask a crowd chaser tbh. It is really rare to be able to create content of new (for the channel) games with consistent success, and terraria is pretty far from mainstream stuff like, say, certain shooters or even minecraft
Man all I said was that I'm excited to see a diffrent approach to such unique challenge, no reason to roast ShyGuyMask. Also ShyGuyMask has a similar whey of delivering information and context to his viewers to CrabBar in my opinion, which reinforces my point that CrabBar will have a unique approach to this challenge, knowing he would never copy from somebody else. (also even if he DID take the same approach and strategies to the challenge, it would never be the same since he still has to apply those to his *randomely* generated world)

I wasn't expecting Gloria Fillo to be used but thank you for reminding me of such a fabulous song. Also this was super impressive. You just did that whole thing with ease. Though it did definitely seem to take a long time to accomplish.
Just 13 hours, given that i average 10 hours on regular playthroughs this is not too bad. Hardmode can still flip the tables tho

7:53: I've only heard of them as a result of T - Mec (Terrarian Mechanical Engineering Corps, a wiring group on the Terraria forums) having their friendly competition of seeing who could go the fastest. They got a lot of speed (well over 2k MPH in game) and then, with a skybridge of Frozen Slime Block spanning the entire world, they maintained that speed and just... slid across the entire world at that speed. It was incredible.

- When your referring to "Emerald one will do nicely for now, and cloud in a bottle will help further". Several main-grammatical issue comes into view, for which I believe a majority of learning English-speakers experience a sense of struggle to express to the listener. A noticeable lacking of the common word - "the", as well as the letter "a," and the word "an" are present throughout certain text in the video. The proper way to formulate the sentence you were attempting to express would be "The emerald one will do nicely for now, and a cloud in a bottle will help further". An additional sentence that comes into mind would be "Let's take a peek at the jungle. Various loot including life crystals and even better hook". I'm glad I noticed this one in particular, as it represents an error that doesn't appear as often as other words. Utilizing the proper function of "an" is a common mishap for English-speakers too! After overlooking the sentence, the proper way to say the sentence is, "Let's take a peek at the jungle. Various loot including life crystals and an even better hook".
It appears to me, you struggle with a diverse set of words involving the function of "conjunction". To my knowledge, this is fairly common for people that have previously not developed the English-language as a primary form of communication in their life. I highly-advise when you are typing, you distribute a majority of your attention towards "conjunction" words; if you wish to be more precise when you speak. Have a great day, Mr. Crab!

That's a great analysis right there, and to put that short, yes, conjunctions are indeed my trouble. There is one reason which is a feeling of those words not being as important as the rest (to the point where they are even cut intentionally; fitting sentences in a fixed text box is hard)
Would certainly try to get that fixed with more practice and new text style soon-ish, and thank you so much for the wall of text: I love these comments the most if they are thorough like that

the fungal wastes music was a nice surprise
tripped me up a bit when the holoknigt music kicked in, but fits into terraria surprisingly well
This practically makes you have to mine straight down in order to be lucky enough to either find a hook and some iron with an anvil or 15 gems and an anvil.
Thus, this man a chad for entertainment.
