FELLOW NEW JERSEYIAN?? Huh, I never heard the term "audition" used that way for checking the framing through a reflex finder. Neat! I actually thought they only had Bolexes that were either TTL reflex OR viewfinder, but not both through a separate reflex finder. I believe the "Rex" ones are those that only need the one reflex finder because it uses a beamsplitter, and then you need the lenses marked AR because the glass changes where the focal point is. Hey there. Yes we're a NJ based production company. And with these bolex's there's non reflex and reflex where you can see through the lens from the gate or from a separate viewfinder. Basically you have to guess what your shooting when working with non reflex. 😅
