it only snows on the top of the few small mountains we have, so Tom must have driven a long way from Sydney to get that footage. If you really want to blow your mind, come to Australia at Christmas time and experience a summer Xmas
Great colour. If they flared the guards a tad more instead of squaring them off it would look good, the slab sides detract from it's 'classiness'. Touch sensitive controls are simply annoying. I did a 300km night trip yesterday on bumpy bendy country roads thru mild fog in a mostly touch car and it became highly annoying with bump induced double tapping and wrong selections and having to spend way too much time looking at the screens while not looking for roos and wombats and where I'm going. It was more anxiety than pleasure.
Is this more roomy than the Kluger hybrid. I do understand that there is very little in common for comparison. By the way, I really like how you provided the insurance guide at 7:34
Excellent review! Thanks bro. Btw, quick question -- Between Diesel and Petrol, which is smoother on the throttle? appreciate info bec its very important for me! (car should "feel" light!) :)
Great review Tom. Shame that the long term build quality of the cabin is below par. I've had my A7 for 12 months and it has more rattles than my wife's 3 year old Q2.
Thanks Hernan. What I have noticed is how quality was really quite poor in the early iterations of his new interior (which I said openly at the time) but they are clearly making improvements behind the scenes. This Q7 was faultless. So I went and ran it over a bunch of gravel roads to see if I could make it rattle. I couldn't.

Whoa snow! Nice Q7 too!
What is the warranty period for the hybrid battery?, And how much it costs to replace?
AUDI needs to build a true large SUV to compete with the Merc GLS and BMW X7.

The petrol for sure
@@chasingcars Cool, thanks for the quick reply
Here in SA people don't use these start stop systems. They really don't save much at all. Half a liter? No
3 years warranty totally inadequate. Should be at least 5 years.
This is very very nice car
No spare tyre is a shame for the price you pay

Beautiful car, it looks ultra tough and ultra expensive on the road…
Can anybody please tell me on road price of this car in india
Pass.....I'll stick with BMW....hate touchscreen for climate control
Was the Q7 slipping at 11:59?
Yes. Slushy muddy snow will do that. Quattro AWD got it straight pretty quick.
That interior is so sik
I still think I’d go the genesis GV80
Comparison coming soon
Expense to buy, service and insurance, also only 3 year warranty. I'll pass thanks
you’ll pass because you can’t afford one. There’s nothing wrong with the car
@@kristians2704 Even if I could afford one, I still wouldn't buy it. Because there is a lot wrong with the car for the reasons I mentioned.
