- Rocky Top on Banjo Ukulele. From The Daily Ukulele Songbook page 199. I've added a bit of strumming tutorial - it can be played without this type of strumming if you like but I find it adds a nice element to the song. The strumming is Thumb Down, Finger Down, Thumb Up...

"Rocky Top" is an American country and bluegrass song written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant in 1967 and first recorded by the Osborne Brothers later that same year.
It's the state song of TN.

Hey Dave - did you manage to get the book? There are two - the original Daily Ukulele and then the Daily Ukulele - Leap Year Edition (you get 366 songs in that one!). They are great books - tons of songs
