One thing you do not want failing is the AFM sensor. They are really hard to get and way more sensitive than a regular MAF sensor. Do not attempt to clean and oiled filters pose a risk

If you’re close to a shop that is familiar with Supras, have them do a pre-purchase inspection. If you’re looking for a clean turbo, manual, etc, be prepared to pay a decent a punt for it. Even after that, be prepared to spend some money on maintenance and upkeep. Good luck shopping!

I wish I had a new raid fan shroud for mine as the bolt hole is broken and it just kinda hangs loose there. But the rest of the engine bay is pretty good. She still needs paint to look anywhere near as good as the grey on yours does so really don't want to spend more, that's going to be a massive bill.
Wish I had the turbo though, must be a lot of fun.

you should still be able to buy the fan shrouds new. its easy as to fit yourself.
