  • Today I finally fit the subs into the enclosure and get the box in the vehicle.
1 of the 2 B2 Audio 2500s is temporarily installed and wired so the subs can be tested.
A few test tones are played and metered and clamped. A score of 141.4dB @ 32hz on a clamped 470w rms per sub.
A great score considering these are 1500w rms subs and only being powered by less than 500w each.
A good taste for whats to come! Onto the next install video.

Can't wait for the next episode mate! Any particular sub and amp setup you can recommend for a Commodore wagon?

Comes down to what's the budget really mate

@@D2iAuto ok, so I'm wanting something with nice bass that punches when I want, but is crisp too. If that makes sense....
I have a budget of about $1000-1500 at the moment

@@projectnuggetlucas4737 a lot of the output and how the subs perform is in the box design and build. If the budget is including everything so sub(s) amp wiring etc etc then best to just go from a prefab system and prefab box is the budget is for subs and box then you can get something a bit better but yeah comes down to how you want it to look and perform and the budget. Can get some decent loaded boxes for good prices and they perform well with your everyday entry level gear such as kicker alpine pioneer etc bit for a low budget something cheap with decent xmax to fit the budget would be what you'd aim for.

@@D2iAuto thanks mate! Will keep that in mind! Still deciding on what brand to go with. I've had alpine in the past so maybe them again, not sure. Cheers mate! Your box build has inspired me to learn more about it all

@@projectnuggetlucas4737 cheers mate appreciate it and glad I can help. Yeah there is a lot of complex stuff involved with sound and different box types and music you listen to will also be a factor in deciding on a system heaps of variation
