Rare to capture such an emotive response to ones own work. Nick is a true artist. Dedicated, talented and devoid of the trappings of material gain. The money he earns is a byproduct of his work, not the origin of it.

What an amazing piece. You are such a great artist. Beautiful story. I know exactly what you mean. My mother-in-law was 'trapped' due to Altzheimer. A strong woman who ran a demolition company in a time women barely got a degree let alone run a company. Her husband was the one who did the demolition but she was the one with all the papers and diplomas. She ran the company, did the accounting, cleaned and sold the stuff that came out of the houses etc. Such a strong woman. To watch how she got trapped by Altzheimer a little further every day was heartbreaking. I always say we lost her twice. Once in life and the second time when she lost the battle after a fall. She died two days before Christmas 2017. Still miss her but I know shes' finally free again.

Ok, so maybe you are not responsible for the video edit.
So where can we watch the rest of it?

Hi, your artwork is amazing; I have emailed to enquire if you do any workshops or mini courses.
My son is very enthusiastic about art and is keen to develop new skills.
He's 14 years old, I've been home-schooling him for just over 5 years, I don't want to go into too much detail in this message.
He is fascinated by the human form, shape, muscle definition; so far his work is in the form of sketches and he's been working on a doll design, and would like to make it into an actual figure.
He expresses himself through art: he's a gentle soul, who has some confidence issues.
It was my Mum that had mentioned she had watched an episode of 'Welsh Lives' and seen your work there.
We don't live that far from where you are based: it would be great if there was an opportunity to do a workshop/ mini course.

Would have liked to hear the full story behind the horse sculpture..
(Are you a relative ms Elphick) ?

@@felicityjones100 I could hear it and I too have a Dad and horse story. It is so emotional that it was 'like' heartbreaking for the 'interview' to be cut off... His sculpting is beyond art. It lives!
