Nick Elphick you're passion, talent and unassuming nature is a credit to you.
I for one think that these restoration episodes are far too short in length, to fully appreciate the extent of the effort, thought and ability you put in your work.
Respect Man 👏👏👍
Isn't he just fabulous? He can fix anything! Bless him!
Elphick's work out regiment: hardcore sculpting/painting
Nick is so talented and humble. I love to watch him take something wrecked and restore it to a beautiful work of art.
I like them more as they where before
The spray paint was a failure. The original, subtle colors were very elegant and should have been mimicked and enhanced. Additionally, the sculpted hands, original arms, and and even faces could have been much more articulated. It sadly looks like the pieces were ruined with gaudy gold and blue spray paint. I have seen this sculptor's work before and he has amazing skill. This restoration does not begin to showcase his immense talent.
Yes, they’re now soulless. They were enchanting but now seem like reproductions. Nick is very talented, but this project is not indicative of what he truly can achieve. Another one bites the dust!😢
@@hybridchild8393 Sad but true..😳
I am absolutely with you. This is now kitsch.
A master at his profession, what a great restorer .
Wonderful! I was afraid they would become all gold. Nick is an artist in many ways!
There is something mesmerising watching this guy turn his vision of the finished product into reality of its original beauty
NICK is a miracle worker ❗❗❗❗ So gifted.
So talented; and so handsome! ❤
Nick does some amazing work.
What a nice job restoring those mounted or freestanding statues that were guilded. That man definitely has some talent 👌🙂
these are so beautiful! I wonder if they were from an opera house. just looking at their restored form makes me the main theme from phantom of the opera play in my head. they look like corbels you'd see in a beautiful high society opera house with red velet curtains and surrounded by other decorative gold finishing details.
God they really came out lovely!!!! 😱😱
He such a modest clever artist.
This guy is so good, I hope they pay him enough, cool work.
This is the first project Nick's done, I don't like. They look like they had fake tanning put all over them. There's no real separation between the face, hair, arms, etc.
I don't believe drew liked them either!
Agree, he is wicked talented.I think because he found they were gold gilded underneath he went with it, no wonder someone painted them so many times . I guess he did what was true to the piece, for me it was his worst ,Drew didnt like them either ..
He does great work ....but spray paint !!! Just not good there is a lot that's not good about this show...I doubt he would ever spray paint his own work
Sorry, it's so obvious that Drew wasn't so happy ...
Neither would I have been. They looked like something from a 60s fairground! He found the original paintwork, then Spray painted all over it! What? They just looked cheap and nasty.
Love you drew pritchard
How much did the restoration cost ??
Nice video
This is not really how an antique should be handled ....
Love Nick but these pieces were too shiny, too radiator paint looking. Also how can Drew ask so little for the pieces? As a dealer, I know this restoration in America would easily cost over a $1,000.

Oh my gaudy.
they look awful , I preferred them in their original state , and I don't think drew is over chuffed with the result either
Thank goodness Sir Nick isn't part of a graffiti spray can gang, tho his works would be highly admired, lol, cheers..
Maestros de la Restauración en Español por favor 🙏
nope
Tartarian left overs
Rough work. It got worse because there is no way to fix it. I hope they won't give him such a job anymore.
Who narrates this? Sounds like Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols.
It's not
Fantastic we need u I kenya
How to turn antiques into junk.😪
I hate them😢
El peor trabajo que ha hecho. No tiene sentido.
