I'm the new owner of this boat! The Caymas CX20 pro is unlike anything I've ever fished out of my entire life. IT's a 74 mph fully loaded 3/4 tank of gas and two people. How scary is that now!! Best boat and without a doubt the best Marine I've ever dealt with. Just ask for Jeremy Music and he'll take care of you. The owner Scott is almost always there every day. He's a class act and the service Dept. starting with Chuck, is more knowledgeable on anything from bow to stern. I can honestly say this about Scott ( Owner) Jeremy ( Best Salesperson ) in the game, Chuck ( Mastermind on setting up a boat ), Kevin ( Service ), Jeff ( Installer ) Can Detail a boat better then brand new! Can't beat this place!!

Just took one of these home last week! (January 18th). This boat is a sweet set up and the guys at Freedom are top notch. They listen to what you need and have a non bias select of boats to choose from. Great buying experience.

After owning mine for 1 year I am convinced this is the best boat out there! I know there are some new Ikon boats that are really nice and so are Vexus, but these are as close to perfect as I can really imagine. The bass cats are neat but still built old school style where fuel tanks take up room and a whole bunch of weird shaped boxes that just don't serve any practical purpose imo. The center rod storage is so awesome as well! I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy one of these boats!

My honest opinion, the new boats are way overpriced for what you get. The new hulls aren't any better than what they had 10-15 years ago, the main things that are better is the outboards, trolling motors and electronics. If you already have a nice 20-21 foot hull like your Stratos you would be better off repowering it, putting a better trolling motor on it, power poles if you want them and some nice electronics. You will end up with a boat that does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

I'm considering both options at the moment. If I put a new Ultrex, new batteries, repower, and add power poles/raptors, I'll be looking at close to $30k. If I get roughly $25k trade-in on my Stratos, It would make the payment a lot more manageable and I would have a warranty. It's a tough decision.

@@OnAnotherLine Yeah tough decision for sure, but 30K is still cheaper than the 70-80K or more that they want for the new boats that size, and you would still be getting a warranty on the motor if you repower. Whichever route you decide to go with I highly recommend getting a Yamaha SHO instead of a Mercury, the Mercs made in the past few years have had some serious quality control issues. The Yamahas seem to be far more reliable and a 200-250 Yamaha can easily be bumped up to over 300hp with just a tune, something that can't be done with a Mercury.
