Just a tip: Farm Shimenawa/emblem set and put shimenawa on her, but if you'll get bad artifacts roll them into crimson witch. So you'll get artifacts for her and her supports too ( Xinqiu and yelan are the best for her and they use emblem)
Another tip: N2C is the best and most consistent attack string for her with C1 because of dash cooldown. If you do N1C too quickly, at some point you won’t be able to dash cancel and end up at the end of her charge attack which means you have to run back to the enemy and waste time.
for C1 its better to do N1C because you can get an average of 3 extra charged attacks that way compared to C0 the adjustment you have to make for the dash cooldown is doing 2 dash cancels and 1 jump cancel then again 2 dash and 1 jump
My hutao does like 26k charge attack and if I give her black cliff with Benney then goes like 100k vap on burst so should I leave this game and cry in the corner?
My hu tao is 59:214 with 38k hp, c1 and homa but I rlly don’t know how to do higher alt dmg, people online are doing like 500k but the most I’ve managed to do is 308k in abyss, usually I only do like 100k. Any tips?
U have staff of Homa then you need Zhongli or thoma C4 try my sucrose and thoma combination or thoma Mona combination and if u have Zhongli then Try him with Mona that will make your hutao do most damage and xingqiu is a must to make hutao vaporize.
get better substats. mine is C0 r2 with 76:260 and 36k hp. With zhongli yelan and xingqiu you do 100k vape and 500k ult is a cake walk. Oh and it's CW r2 and r1 difference is basically just about 5k-10k dmg. Back when i had r1 i did around 90k vape
I agree on Bennett being one of Hu Tao's best supports. His buff is more than enough to compensate for healing Hu Tao above 50% hp. I c6 him just for that reason and he enables my Hu Tao to do 120k charged attacks.

Idk how Homa effects your Hutao cus I never used it not tested it but I know it requires low hp on hutao. I may have to check few things before giving you an answer cus you will either use Diona or Layla for this. Who do u like.

@@platnm I think it just by 15%-20%, and for me it’s better to crit more than to have more damage and not crit, I got hu Tao and I have dragon’s bane, r1, 419 em, 53/177, 2pcs em, 2pcs pyro dmg, 49k per charged attack and 180k per burst, talents 8,8,9. For my deathmatch, r0, 200 em, 66/220, 2pcs em, 2pcs pyro dmg, 44k per charged attack and 167k per burst, talents 8,8,9, I don’t disagree with dragons bane superior reaction damage, but I crit a lot less than with deathmatch, like I miss a lot of crits in the abyss with dragons bane it’s very annoying when I miss cus sometimes I use burst to just finish off the enemy and when I don’t crit, I don’t finish off the enemy so I start a fresh rotation to finish the enemy off, so I just prefer deathmatch overall cus I crit more and prefer it more for aesthetics and also the name matches hu Tao’s work as a funeral director

White tasset just ONLY for NORMAL ATTACK.. hutao DMG came from Charged Atk sir.. better take neuvilete weapon bp instead hutao with ballad (bp). best weapon hutao after homa is dragonsbane high refinement ^_^
It does more damage only in charged attack it’s worth it becus Shime is with Emblem which is must to farm so very very affordable in comparison to Crimson so yeah it’s considered good for hutao.
I definitely use mare hunter with the release of furina because she buffs her with her burst but now that I have yelan I might switch to the traditional double hydro with zhongli or thoma

honestly, just play whoever you want. Diona has a possibly stronger shield, em buff and heals (can be good or bad depending on how you want to play.), and layla has a decent shield with better off field damage than diona and more (I think it's more anyway...) cryo application which is some melt potential. In my honest opinion if you want to max out your hu tao damage I'd go for layla, I don't like the heals diona provides hu tao's passive is a huge damage boost and it's a waste not to use it...
My Hu tao has 67:216 (40 em) with staff of homa but still it only does 32k charge attack i don't know why she is not doing high damage like yours maybe my team is not good, my support team artifact's are at level 4.I am using 2p crimson and 2p glad.
It increases the crit too much as when you get good artifact with double crit value even if u have Crit damage headpiece you just end up having way too much crit rate on hutao. Normally you wana get 60 65% and with Rosaria you get additional 10% so that gets you to 75% crit rate easily now deathmatch gets you over 90% crit like that ones you get good artifact.

@@platnm from what i can see, you like making guides. i will try my best to suggest some improvements. first of all, in the second timestamp of the video, i thought you were going to mention hu tao burgeon or mono pyro, but you didnt. while you were correct about running bennet with hu tao is not a bad option, it is generally not recommended to do this because bennet is a highly contested unit, which may be needed on the other side of the abyss. also, mona can be used with hu tao, but in abyss, other teammates as to why people call black cliff polearm bad, because it does almost same damage to white tassle. the reason why your white tassle did less damage because you has less em with the white tassle build the major flaws i found were in the artifact section, for example, CW, SR and GD all perform same, as long as you are not having too much em in substats in case of GD. and i am not saying these things randomly, i am using verified sources
I’m running Hu Tao with r1 homa and 33k hp, her ratio is 39/252 atm. 70k vape charged attacks with like 250 em. Currently running 4 piece shim trying to get 4 pieces crim but not having much luck. Great video btw.

Very nice video....my benny is on other team. I use Hu Tao, Yelan, Xinqxiu, Layla all c0. Hu tao has PJWS with 74/190 crit, 34K hp, 107 em, im levelling up Staff of Scarlett Sands[i dont have homa:(...].But that just increases 22 crit rate. My vape damage only deals 40k pleasee give some suggestion...(btw talents are 9,8,7. Im new to the game playing from 3 months still levelling up).
I’ll say have about 60% crit rate try getting EM sands Pyro goblet and don’t worry about Hp even 25k hp is good enough and yeah have her hp below 50% and you can increase her E skill talent.
I lost my 50/50 to C2 Jean :) is it worth trying to clutch hu toa or should i save my primos for Wriothesley? I have nuevillite but I cant clear abyss floors if theres water opponents...

If u can farm primojems from map for hydro archon after getting hutao then get hutao cus for me I’ll always recommend getting Archon of any Element type.
Best for him over all is 4 pc Crimson and the most Easiest Set to farm is Shimenava which is Litrally free as you will go and farm Emblem but let’s say if you can’t do that then 2 Pc Crimson and 2 pc EM set any EM set as EM after Crit is best stats for HuTao.
My Hu Tao is 62/224 crit with Ballad, Hp sands; 30k hp, 1k atk, team is Hu Tao, Yelan, Benny and Kazuha. I swirl pyro with Kazuha’s skill and Hydro with his burst. She does 50k charged atk (with Yelan and Bennett burst active). Is this okay? How can I improve? Also I plan to pull Zhongli next, can he fit into this team?
At 6:00 you actually can make a better rotation, cause xingqiu ult will only attack when you AA with a character. So the best rotation for that team is to use thoma, then xingqiu ult (trying to keep your distance so the enemy dont get wet) and finally sucrose to then get the 48% atk on hu tao and more time with sucrose's EM buff.

Just farm chest in Geo Nation you will get White tassel or just look up on RUclips how to get white tassel there must be some npc who will give you one. And you only need 1 for hutao.

Most people think getting signature weapon of the character is the best idea where in most cases it so far from what actually works. 5 star weapon are very good for Something Specific.
Mona will do the work as she can give Hp boost of double hydro plus make your xingqiu and hutao do more damage. Or just use sucrose she is better then Kazuha.
My Hu Tao is currently 58/267 with Blackcliff pole, but I'm considering leveling dragon's bane, the only issue is that it's only r1, so I don't know if the overall dmg would be good enough.

I never used jade winged so hard to tell I used deathmatch with hutao in past and what I wana tell you is that hutao only need 60% crit rate and all other stats in crit damage and EM so the weapon with help of artifact u can get like 60 200 crit with lots of EM you will do good damage

The game will not give u really good artifact very early when u start farming in any domain. But you will eventually start getting good artifact. If u r building hutao start with 2 crymson and 2 EM artifact build as that is the easiest to get eventually just gets better stats on them but I will say 4 pc Crimson is not worth farming but you do need 2pc of it.
@Unknown-bf3iw yeah it’s almost impossible to get good Substats on Newly farmed Artifact even if they had double crit. Once u get more you will find u r rolls on crit will increase.
Actually instead of xq i use mona with yelan and I haven't went back since, its so much damage with thrilling tales and nobless on mona, emblem on yelan , TOM on zhongli
I actually use the following: Hu Tao + Ganyu + XQ + Layla Tested it against Hu Tao + Sucrose + XQ + Benett (C6, haha) In a domain both teams deal pretty much the same damage (tested in in the new Denouement of Sin Domain, no team is significant faster, the first team feels more consistent though). I do have a pretty well equipped Ganyu though, so that's likely a pretty big factor in it - Hu Taos individual damage is higher for sure with Benett. I can recommend everyone to try out HuTao/XQ with a 2x off-field cryo though, it's quite fun, you'll pretty much vape or melt all the time, sometimes get a freeze in and have a bit of bonus crit% chance :D
max u should have EM on hutai is 350, if any higher its waste and u will not get the benefit of more EM, thats why when u switched from 4 pc gilded to 2 pc set u did same damage because u have over 350 EM
No attack okay and just try aiming for stats rather then Hp or Em artifact, so with 2 pc Crimson in the end you need like 60% to 65% crit rate between 28k to 33k hp and while maintaining 150 to 210 crit damage try getting 300 to 450 EM and again avoid overdoing in just one stats and you will be switching a lot between HP and EM depends who you play with.
I am playing Hu Tao with R2 Homa and C1 rn, she has 2pc Pyrowitch and 2p Shimenawa, Crit Rate: about 67% and CritDmg: about 271%, EM: ~200 and 25k HP. Normally I play her with 2 Hydro Characters, so that her HP increases to 29k. If I memorized it correctly her elemental charge attack does 34k with vape over 50k. Is she fine or do u have any tips? :)
I still don't know how hu tao work but my C2 hu tao with homa CR45 CD255 team xangqui,mona, zhongli and she still give 60k to 1.20 lakh in her brust damage
my hu tao - 32k hp , 52/146 crit ratio , full shimenawa set(still farming) , damage rises from 45k to 52k + hydro resonance with yelan is the best thing
Mine is 50/170 2pc shim 2pc crimson dmg rises from 56k to 78k :) ( I just give her sands em with 34% crit dmg and 3%rate ) hp is 19k and using melt yelan + hu tao + diona + benny (f2p)
I’ll say stick with white tassel until you get dragons bane if u are new u will soon have lots of free wish on standard banner you may get some good 5 star polearm or dragons bane.
the dmg difference between 4pc shim and 4pc CW is negligible and both are her BiS sets so they're both good. I use 4pc shim bcus im never farming the CW domain nor do i want to strongbox it when shim is already just as good. As for the weapons i would never ever recommend any blackcliff weapon for any char bcus it's not worth spending starglitter on an average weapon when u can spend them on free wishes or shop constellations instead
Finally ballad of fjors is getting noticed right when it came out i had to chance to get it so i did (before i got hu tao i knew i was gonna get her guaranteed) its so good since my team has the requirement to use it efficiently. And it had crit rate on it so i could get crit dmg circult (63/230) and since the em is so high i could easily use hp sands and still have 297 em. Get it for her if u can its not the bis so dont use money on it but its pretty good.
@iishiir try it against single target it she eats up some vaporize which makes her over all really bad in comparison to Bennet and Rosaria. And even against single target You do melt with Rosaria in team and let’s not forget 10% extra crit rate from Rosaria burst who is also doing 20 to 25k per tick of damage Each enemy.

@@platnm I think it just by 15%-20%, and for me it’s better to crit more than to have more damage and not crit, I got hu Tao and I have dragon’s bane, r1, 419 em, 53/177, 2pcs em, 2pcs pyro dmg, 49k per charged attack and 180k per burst, talents 8,8,9. For my deathmatch, r0, 200 em, 66/220, 2pcs em, 2pcs pyro dmg, 44k per charged attack and 167k per burst, talents 8,8,9, I don’t disagree with dragons bane superior reaction damage, but I crit a lot less than with deathmatch, like I miss a lot of crits in the abyss with dragons bane it’s very annoying when I miss cus sometimes I use burst to just finish off the enemy and when I don’t crit, I don’t finish off the enemy so I start a fresh rotation to finish the enemy off, so I just prefer deathmatch overall cus I crit more and prefer it more for aesthetics and also the name matches hu Tao’s work as a funeral director

Currently, My HuTao is dealing 53k per charge attack. I paired her with Thoma Xinnqiu Yelan, and I'm running her with 4x Crimsom Witch of Flame and R2 Dragons Bane; the crit ratio is 18/181. My question is: Should I get a "Ballad of the Fjords" for a higher crit rate?
Do u not have crit rate headpiece and you need over 60% crit rate.
For that weapon you need 3 different elements in team you may have to replace thoma with Diona or someone else.

It does more damage only in charged attack it’s worth it becus Shime is with Emblem which is must to farm so very very affordable in comparison to Crimson so yeah it’s considered good for hutao.
I definitely use mare hunter with the release of furina because she buffs her with her burst but now that I have yelan I might switch to the traditional double hydro with zhongli or thoma

honestly, just play whoever you want. Diona has a possibly stronger shield, em buff and heals (can be good or bad depending on how you want to play.), and layla has a decent shield with better off field damage than diona and more (I think it's more anyway...) cryo application which is some melt potential. In my honest opinion if you want to max out your hu tao damage I'd go for layla, I don't like the heals diona provides hu tao's passive is a huge damage boost and it's a waste not to use it...
My Hu tao has 67:216 (40 em) with staff of homa but still it only does 32k charge attack i don't know why she is not doing high damage like yours maybe my team is not good, my support team artifact's are at level 4.I am using 2p crimson and 2p glad.
Use Hutao with Xingqiu MUST and glad is bad try EM Sands instead of HP on hutao and double hydro for 25% hp boost. Hope you have Mona.

It increases the crit too much as when you get good artifact with double crit value even if u have Crit damage headpiece you just end up having way too much crit rate on hutao. Normally you wana get 60 65% and with Rosaria you get additional 10% so that gets you to 75% crit rate easily now deathmatch gets you over 90% crit like that ones you get good artifact.
Almost an overkill in crit.

@@platnm from what i can see, you like making guides. i will try my best to suggest some improvements. first of all, in the second timestamp of the video, i thought you were going to mention hu tao burgeon or mono pyro, but you didnt.
while you were correct about running bennet with hu tao is not a bad option, it is generally not recommended to do this because bennet is a highly contested unit, which may be needed on the other side of the abyss. also, mona can be used with hu tao, but in abyss, other teammates
as to why people call black cliff polearm bad, because it does almost same damage to white tassle. the reason why your white tassle did less damage because you has less em with the white tassle build
the major flaws i found were in the artifact section, for example, CW, SR and GD all perform same, as long as you are not having too much em in substats in case of GD. and i am not saying these things randomly, i am using verified sources

Do u get 66% crit before buff or after buff of the artifact set.
Becus you actually need like 30% crit rate on that artifact set for hutao and then you can have over 240 crit damage.
And that is so hard to get (only crit damage)

My hutao is doing 57 k melt and 46k in vaporize in charge attack. Anyone know why my vape is low ?
Damage Multiplier. vape has 1.5x and melt has 2x but with Xingqiu vape is consistent.

Very nice video....my benny is on other team. I use Hu Tao, Yelan, Xinqxiu, Layla all c0. Hu tao has PJWS with 74/190 crit, 34K hp, 107 em, im levelling up Staff of Scarlett Sands[i dont have homa:(...].But that just increases 22 crit rate. My vape damage only deals 40k pleasee give some suggestion...(btw talents are 9,8,7. Im new to the game playing from 3 months still levelling up).
I use 4pc crimson on Hu Tao,
4pc emblem on yelan, 4pc noblesse on xinqxiu and 4pc tenacity on layla
I’ll say have about 60% crit rate try getting EM sands Pyro goblet and don’t worry about Hp even 25k hp is good enough and yeah have her hp below 50% and you can increase her E skill talent.

Best for him over all is 4 pc Crimson and the most Easiest Set to farm is Shimenava which is Litrally free as you will go and farm Emblem but let’s say if you can’t do that then 2 Pc Crimson and 2 pc EM set any EM set as EM after Crit is best stats for HuTao.

My Hu Tao is 62/224 crit with Ballad, Hp sands; 30k hp, 1k atk, team is Hu Tao, Yelan, Benny and Kazuha. I swirl pyro with Kazuha’s skill and Hydro with his burst. She does 50k charged atk (with Yelan and Bennett burst active). Is this okay? How can I improve? Also I plan to pull Zhongli next, can he fit into this team?
At 6:00 you actually can make a better rotation, cause xingqiu ult will only attack when you AA with a character. So the best rotation for that team is to use thoma, then xingqiu ult (trying to keep your distance so the enemy dont get wet) and finally sucrose to then get the 48% atk on hu tao and more time with sucrose's EM buff.

If ur just looking for dmg per screenshot then yes, mona is better. If you’re looking for consistency, don’t use bennet or atk percent sands.

I never used jade winged so hard to tell I used deathmatch with hutao in past and what I wana tell you is that hutao only need 60% crit rate and all other stats in crit damage and EM so the weapon with help of artifact u can get like 60 200 crit with lots of EM you will do good damage

The game will not give u really good artifact very early when u start farming in any domain. But you will eventually start getting good artifact. If u r building hutao start with 2 crymson and 2 EM artifact build as that is the easiest to get eventually just gets better stats on them but I will say 4 pc Crimson is not worth farming but you do need 2pc of it.

@Unknown-bf3iw yeah it’s almost impossible to get good Substats on Newly farmed Artifact even if they had double crit. Once u get more you will find u r rolls on crit will increase.

I play hu tao with shimenawa paired with Yelan and i only use normal atrakcs more fun to play😊
I actually use the following:
Hu Tao + Ganyu + XQ + Layla
Tested it against Hu Tao + Sucrose + XQ + Benett (C6, haha)
In a domain both teams deal pretty much the same damage (tested in in the new Denouement of Sin Domain, no team is significant faster, the first team feels more consistent though). I do have a pretty well equipped Ganyu though, so that's likely a pretty big factor in it - Hu Taos individual damage is higher for sure with Benett. I can recommend everyone to try out HuTao/XQ with a 2x off-field cryo though, it's quite fun, you'll pretty much vape or melt all the time, sometimes get a freeze in and have a bit of bonus crit% chance :D
Sucrose takes away a little consistency as u have to swirl the right elements.
I should upload next video within 12 hrs it’s just on hutao teams. Hope you find something interesting.

max u should have EM on hutai is 350, if any higher its waste and u will not get the benefit of more EM, thats why when u switched from 4 pc gilded to 2 pc set u did same damage because u have over 350 EM

No attack okay and just try aiming for stats rather then Hp or Em artifact, so with 2 pc Crimson in the end you need like 60% to 65% crit rate between 28k to 33k hp and while maintaining 150 to 210 crit damage try getting 300 to 450 EM and again avoid overdoing in just one stats and you will be switching a lot between HP and EM depends who you play with.

I am playing Hu Tao with R2 Homa and C1 rn, she has 2pc Pyrowitch and 2p Shimenawa, Crit Rate: about 67% and CritDmg: about 271%, EM: ~200 and 25k HP. Normally I play her with 2 Hydro Characters, so that her HP increases to 29k. If I memorized it correctly her elemental charge attack does 34k with vape over 50k. Is she fine or do u have any tips? :)

the dmg difference between 4pc shim and 4pc CW is negligible and both are her BiS sets so they're both good. I use 4pc shim bcus im never farming the CW domain nor do i want to strongbox it when shim is already just as good. As for the weapons i would never ever recommend any blackcliff weapon for any char bcus it's not worth spending starglitter on an average weapon when u can spend them on free wishes or shop constellations instead

Finally ballad of fjors is getting noticed right when it came out i had to chance to get it so i did (before i got hu tao i knew i was gonna get her guaranteed) its so good since my team has the requirement to use it efficiently. And it had crit rate on it so i could get crit dmg circult (63/230) and since the em is so high i could easily use hp sands and still have 297 em. Get it for her if u can its not the bis so dont use money on it but its pretty good.

@@platnmcouldn't she work with hu tao, xingqui, yelan, and herself? I don't see anything that could make the team worse
@iishiir try it against single target it she eats up some vaporize which makes her over all really bad in comparison to Bennet and Rosaria. And even against single target You do melt with Rosaria in team and let’s not forget 10% extra crit rate from Rosaria burst who is also doing 20 to 25k per tick of damage Each enemy.
If u have time go and check out the video you may learn things you never know existed cus have I try new things.
