idk how consistent this is but a thing i do with n2cd combo is i dash backward then move forward to reposition myself for the next combo. this allows me to both perform the combo faster and avoid dash cooldown. with this i usually reach around 10-11 n2cds every rotation
4:19 well, I fell like that with the new weapon Hu Tao can use the double hydro team for sure. The passive of the weapon says "When there are at least 3 differente Elemental types in your party..." So Hu tao (Pyro), Xingxiu and Yelan (Hydro) and then Zhong(Geo), will have 3 differente elemental types in the party. I haven't the pass but in my mind it should work

Yes but technically that's not very F2P either. If we consider Dragon's Bane F2P as in "F2P can obtain it" then Lithic Spear can be better if fully stacked and refined but that's very rare. TLDR: Yes haha
I'm new player 2 weeks ago and just got hu tao and xingqiu from the event banner. My question is at what minimum lvl should i build xingqiu for hu tao? Because he just there to only provide vaporize for hu tao.
Well if you are very low AR and you are investing into Hu Tao then just keep Xingqiu somewhere around 10 levels behind by ideally you will want to reach 80/80 or 80/90 down the line. He is there for the Hydro, sure, but he also does a considerable amount of damage and needs Talent Levels and Artifact investment eventually.
thoughts on the team hu tao, mona ttds, yelan, zhongli. ive been using this team for a couple days now and it deals way more dmg then xingqiu, yelan, zhongli but i dont know if its just from how i build xingqiu or if mona is just better
In overall damage it shouldn't be much of a difference and prob a little worse than Xingqiu but as far as Hu Tao's personal damage it's surely better! I used to run triple Hydro with Mona and it's really fun to play. Still a good team though :)
The way I said it made confusion for some but what I meant is that you can't go double hydro and double pyro in the same team. 2 Hydro with anything that is not Pyro works :)
I think Yelan Mona is also a good Duo for Hu Tao. Many people complain about the lacking of hydro application, but i think it can be fixed without getting c2 yelan, you just need to N1J (no charge attack) then the hydro application will be reset and you can start spamming CA again no sweating. It's just my personal idea, im running Hu Tao with Yelan and Mona since i got Yelan. Seeing your Hu Tao hit 130-150k/CA is really cool, so consider my idea if you want to have huge damage Hu Tao. My Hu Tao build: Homa R1, 68.8%:199.6 , 212e.m, 41669 hp (with hydro resonance), Crimson witch set 4pc. And i love your Videos keep going !
When you play Hu Tao and you realize she kind of just destroys anything in her path like nothing . I got furina , yelan , and Hu Tao and lemme just say that I don’t even realize how fast everything dies. Everything just disappears in a blink of an eye
you can play double Hydro with Ballad of the Fjords because there is only a requirement of characters from 3 different Elements in your Party to Activate the Weapon Passive, if u meant that you cant have 2 pyro and 2 hydro in the same team then yes but who plays that Comp anyway when there is better options
you could have showed some showcase about how you hutao C0, yeah you said "just jump instead of dash", ok, but what about showing it? this video looks more like for those few whales in the game who can afford 5 stars constellations imo
No. They can only perform as an on-field dps. Putting them both in the same team will greatly diminish their potential. You can make two separate teams from them though, both are a really good dps.
I finally used my guarantee and pulled Hu Tao. Was saving it for C2 Furina but i'll just settle with C1 Furina instead. Now im watching all the guide videos of her lol. I wonder if she will be good on Furina teams.

Any shielder, or run xq + beidou combo they both have massive dmg mitigation, like you said if you get hit once you died, soo healing isn't that good esp when you want to stay under 50% hp

The same as a non Ballad Hu Tao, whatever is more efficient or makes sense on your account between Shime/Crimson but with a preference on HP stats over EM, especially if you plan to refine the Polearm or buff her EM further.

Hi, sorry to hear! Are we talking about mouse/keyboard? If so you can try getting a mouse with extra buttons and assign a jump to it. Dash would also be possible via right clicking. Otherwise you could re-assign the jumping key to a closer button near your WASD. If you are talking about mobile or console I'm really not sure sorry!
Nope that's the point of that tip! You don't have to keep in mind the 2 seconds it takes to Burst as it snapshots as soon as its cast. + you can use the technique to do it that later than usual. I double checked just to be sure and 34k is my dmg above 50%HP, unbuffed and unvaped with Skill > Burst
@@SevenPlsin any case you used ult on 7.5-8 sec(in video) and then you dealed the dmg… You just can’t use ult on 5.5 or 6 sec because atk buff is gone, you won’t be in time…
@@am1go0505 The tip is to exactly do that. With hitlag + sliding after a CA you can use it that late, 34k is my buffed dmg. Either this or I don't understand the confusion sorry ^^
Are you going to have another weapon from this battle pass? If you plan to eventually buy another I'd just wait and use whatever you have levelled up for now. Unless you could use DM on someone else~
I don’t wanna sway you from saving for Furina but I got Hu Tao during her first rerun in the fall of 2021. Dash cancel and jump cancel is cool but I hated never having any stamina. Running to start a domain or chasing enemies in a domain or sprinting towards the next enemy in the abyss I was always out of stamina and couldn’t attack. Very frustrating. I got C1 Tuesday night and I can’t stop playing with her. She feels like a completely different character. Now I can defeat anybody with no issues or frustrations. I love her now. I’m also going for Furina but I had to get her C1. Best of wishes on your pulls 🍻
Tips were really helpful, but question with Kazuha's slash really gets me. When Kazuhas Slash is Hydro swirling, will he swirl pyro to get buffs from VV set to increase damage? Or it should be previosly swirled by Chihayuburu?
When Kazuha's Burst gets infused it will apply Hydro and Anemo, the Anemo portion can still trigger any kind of Swirl if enough of whatever element is present. With that said, once you do have your Burst infused Hydro it might be hard to apply enough Pyro to also Swirl that. You would usually go Bennett EQ really fast or Amber Burst or something like that, switch to Kazuha and do a quick Skill to swirl Pyro. Doing so with the burst is very unreliable tbh. Also keep in mind that VV works only on-field but Kazuha's Elemental buff works off-field! Btw you can Swirl Pyro with the Burst cast but then it's going to 100% infuse Pyro and not Hydro. I have a few rotations that you can follow on the full guide but feel free to reply if you still have questions about it :)

I mean, who should be on-field to maximise fischl's damage? I saw your Abyss 4.0 team and it is quite impressive and i never thought this can work, but is there exist better Fischl's DPS enhancer than fischl in her self? I tested her a lot, and She have 3 sources of electro applying overall, so i dont really know is there exist some character that overwhelming in triggering her Passive except Keqing, which i dont have. I suppose its also nahida or baizhu (because Spread IS working to trigger passive), or Neuvilette, but im really like Fischl with Heizou (using charged attacks with dendro or Hydro applied, he triggers a lot of reactions and i really obsessed playing him, especially against group of enemies he is just annihilate them by triggering Electro swirl (+1 contribution to every enemy), Electro-Charge or Aggravate (+1 to every enemy), and he triggering Oz to attack with him (so its again Electro charge, or aggravate), and he have AoE damage, so damage increases by amount of enemies in the group (but i might be wrong here, for 2 enemies its +4 contributions). Just let me know what you think about heizou, because i really like him. Idk how it works with Venti honestly
Usually DM would be better but only if enough EM is present. Fjords teams can be anything except 2 hydro + 2 pyro, VV teams, overvape or cryo are all ok activating it
@@SevenPls also wouldnt double element be fine as long as the other two in your party are not that element? Like if I ran hu tao, thoma, xinqiu, and sucrose wouldnt it still proc since there are 3 diff elemental types? Or does it only apply to party members not hu tao
Good video! The only thing I disagree with is Marechaussee. While it is niche right now, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Nahida (with Prototype Amber) is almost always able to maintain full stacks. Hu Tao E + burgeon ensures you always start with 3 stacks, PAmber continues refreshing for a few seconds, and burgeon (or occasionally HT burst) covers the tail end end of your rotation. The main risk is that you kill the current enemies early enough in her field time that you lose burgeon and MH stacks by the end. But if that would happen super early in her field time, you can kill the enemies with double hydro and recast Nahida E, and as long as there are a couple seeds on the field by the 5s mark, you're good to go (you can even leave some seeds for this purpose). So it's really only a fairly small minority of situations where maintaining Nahida's E is awkward. And in some subset of those, you'll take damage and maintain stacks that way anyway. In general I find that this team stands up very well to other double hydro variants. Nahida giving 200EM to HT, plus Burgeon & Nahida damage (small but relevant) makes it quite good in single target. And in AoE the burgeons start being really noticable, making it one of the better options there. Though of course, if Kazuha's grouping is key for HT getting significant AoE, he will be better.
If im not mistaken even if you kept mare at full stacks all the time it would only be about 2% better than CW. So basically totally not worth it considering most ppl already have better CW pieces by now.
@@Andre-od5hf I'm pretty sure that's not true. MH gives 11 substats worth of crit rate, and 2-3 of dmg bonus (subtracting a bit since the dmg bonus doesn't buff her burst). CW gives about 5 substats worth of dmg bonus, and the reaction bonus is worth about 80 EM, or 4 subs. Maybe a bit more if you have high em? Even being generous, that's at least 3 subs less than MH. And for Homa Hu Taos at least, crit rate is usually her most valuable stat, by quite a large margin. Jstern discussed MH on Hu Tao in his latest video, and he said shim is 6% ahead of CW (when you're not looking at the burst), and MH is 6% ahead of shim. Which obviously gives an unfair advantage to shim, but should nevertheless give a good idea of how far MH is ahead of both of them. As for MH not being worth farming, it depends. That domain is shaping up to be one of the best in the game. I didn't even start farming it specifically for Hu Tao, but mainly for Fischl, as well as Xiao, Lyney, and now Furina and Neuvillette, as well as anyone else who can hold MH in the future. I just happened to get fairly lucky with pieces for Hu Tao before any of those others (it helps that she wants a lot of different stats), and it's already my best set for her, when I can stack it.
man, that battle pass weapon would be so op if it said em increased by 40 for each character with a different element than the wielder if that shit could be used in double hydro, it would be better than the primordial and probably one of her best

Shimenawa is totally fine but you should avoid Skyward Spine, it's not a good weapon for Hu Tao! Many 4-star options are better

That's only for the first N1C/N2C, performing multiple combos as you normally would in a Skill cast will have N2C apply more Pyro

It can be, it depends on the stats of Hu Tao and what buffs she is getting. Roughly on a similar power level though.

It's a very good Constellation but you can make her clear any content without it. Maybe get Furina and save for next time, if you really like it!
I don’t wanna sway you from saving for Furina but I got Hu Tao during her first rerun in the fall of 2021. Dash cancel and jump cancel is cool but I hated never having any stamina. Running to start a domain or chasing enemies in a domain or sprinting towards the next enemy in the abyss I was always out of stamina and couldn’t attack. Very frustrating. I got C1 Tuesday night and I can’t stop playing with her. She feels like a completely different character. Now I can defeat anybody with no issues or frustrations. I love her now. I’m also going for Furina but I had to get her C1. Best of wishes on your pulls 🍻

Tips were really helpful, but question with Kazuha's slash really gets me. When Kazuhas Slash is Hydro swirling, will he swirl pyro to get buffs from VV set to increase damage? Or it should be previosly swirled by Chihayuburu?
When Kazuha's Burst gets infused it will apply Hydro and Anemo, the Anemo portion can still trigger any kind of Swirl if enough of whatever element is present. With that said, once you do have your Burst infused Hydro it might be hard to apply enough Pyro to also Swirl that. You would usually go Bennett EQ really fast or Amber Burst or something like that, switch to Kazuha and do a quick Skill to swirl Pyro. Doing so with the burst is very unreliable tbh. Also keep in mind that VV works only on-field but Kazuha's Elemental buff works off-field! Btw you can Swirl Pyro with the Burst cast but then it's going to 100% infuse Pyro and not Hydro. I have a few rotations that you can follow on the full guide but feel free to reply if you still have questions about it :)

I mean, who should be on-field to maximise fischl's damage? I saw your Abyss 4.0 team and it is quite impressive and i never thought this can work, but is there exist better Fischl's DPS enhancer than fischl in her self? I tested her a lot, and She have 3 sources of electro applying overall, so i dont really know is there exist some character that overwhelming in triggering her Passive except Keqing, which i dont have. I suppose its also nahida or baizhu (because Spread IS working to trigger passive), or Neuvilette, but im really like Fischl with Heizou (using charged attacks with dendro or Hydro applied, he triggers a lot of reactions and i really obsessed playing him, especially against group of enemies he is just annihilate them by triggering Electro swirl (+1 contribution to every enemy), Electro-Charge or Aggravate (+1 to every enemy), and he triggering Oz to attack with him (so its again Electro charge, or aggravate), and he have AoE damage, so damage increases by amount of enemies in the group (but i might be wrong here, for 2 enemies its +4 contributions). Just let me know what you think about heizou, because i really like him. Idk how it works with Venti honestly
whats a good team/last slot to run if you use fjords, also is a r3 dragons bane going to be better than a r1/2 death match?
Usually DM would be better but only if enough EM is present. Fjords teams can be anything except 2 hydro + 2 pyro, VV teams, overvape or cryo are all ok activating it

The only thing I disagree with is Marechaussee. While it is niche right now, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Nahida (with Prototype Amber) is almost always able to maintain full stacks. Hu Tao E + burgeon ensures you always start with 3 stacks, PAmber continues refreshing for a few seconds, and burgeon (or occasionally HT burst) covers the tail end end of your rotation. The main risk is that you kill the current enemies early enough in her field time that you lose burgeon and MH stacks by the end. But if that would happen super early in her field time, you can kill the enemies with double hydro and recast Nahida E, and as long as there are a couple seeds on the field by the 5s mark, you're good to go (you can even leave some seeds for this purpose). So it's really only a fairly small minority of situations where maintaining Nahida's E is awkward. And in some subset of those, you'll take damage and maintain stacks that way anyway.
In general I find that this team stands up very well to other double hydro variants. Nahida giving 200EM to HT, plus Burgeon & Nahida damage (small but relevant) makes it quite good in single target. And in AoE the burgeons start being really noticable, making it one of the better options there. Though of course, if Kazuha's grouping is key for HT getting significant AoE, he will be better.
If im not mistaken even if you kept mare at full stacks all the time it would only be about 2% better than CW.
So basically totally not worth it considering most ppl already have better CW pieces by now.
@@Andre-od5hf I'm pretty sure that's not true. MH gives 11 substats worth of crit rate, and 2-3 of dmg bonus (subtracting a bit since the dmg bonus doesn't buff her burst).
CW gives about 5 substats worth of dmg bonus, and the reaction bonus is worth about 80 EM, or 4 subs. Maybe a bit more if you have high em? Even being generous, that's at least 3 subs less than MH.
And for Homa Hu Taos at least, crit rate is usually her most valuable stat, by quite a large margin.
Jstern discussed MH on Hu Tao in his latest video, and he said shim is 6% ahead of CW (when you're not looking at the burst), and MH is 6% ahead of shim. Which obviously gives an unfair advantage to shim, but should nevertheless give a good idea of how far MH is ahead of both of them.
As for MH not being worth farming, it depends. That domain is shaping up to be one of the best in the game. I didn't even start farming it specifically for Hu Tao, but mainly for Fischl, as well as Xiao, Lyney, and now Furina and Neuvillette, as well as anyone else who can hold MH in the future. I just happened to get fairly lucky with pieces for Hu Tao before any of those others (it helps that she wants a lot of different stats), and it's already my best set for her, when I can stack it.

It can be used in double hydro. And primordial jade is ass on her, dragons bane fjords and death match are all better
