Great vehicle. I have a RR Vogue, and it’s ideal for camping trips. Either bung everything and the kitchen in for longer trips with the wife, or just an airbed and sleeping bag for a bit of car camping. You’re going to enjoy that 😊

Wait, wait you can lay fully flat down? 🤯 didn’t even know they could fold rear seats flat. How tall are you (i am 5’9 wondering if i can fit in, could be good for long travels/camping, bc that’s exactly what i am looking for rn)
I’m about 6 foot mate and yes both the middle row and back row fold down.. i have a thin 4mm ply board that i just slide in to avoid any small gaps then just chuck my air mat down and good to go 👍🏼

I'd say just get a memory foam topper or a double SIM in the back and black out the rear and sides. The roof box company sell quality bars and boxes for good £ or just trawl market place for a bargain . Do a Clarkson style bog seat in the back..

Hi mate rough idle was the alternator pulley, seized and snapped the belt a few month later whilst I was in Scotland 😭 all sorted now though and idle sounds much smoother 👍🏼

I must admit I've thought about getting a car like that or a range rover for similar reasons but I do big milage for work so need something with good mpg I do 12,000 miles just for work so then add another 5,000 for trips it costs a fortune but I'm sure you will have some great times with it👍

good beasts - just be careful of the new low emission zones coming in this year. Doesnt impact if you are only motorway up to remote areas but Manchester to bolton outskirts area ( if you stay on motorways not an issue that i am aware off only if you are going off the motorway eg Winter hill in bolton) , Glasgow Dundee etc all have Low emission zones being brought in this year. If it has adblue you should be ok. - if its petrol happy days. the ow emission zones are not just vans mate cause my shogun ambulance rrv whilst being bomb proof 4wd is a 56 plate and not LEZ compliant Scotland - bring yer smidge or avon skin so soft mate :)
if you are going west coast mate Do Not come off m8 junc 15-18 or you will be hit with ulez fine instead stay on m8 and cross over at erskine bridge that way you avoid the zone and half the traffic
So whats your job pal, i have a transit connect for work as I'm a joiner and i kip in back sometimes when off to places. Really would like to swap it out for one of those beasts though, do my job and get me and mutt in ba k for a kip👍

XC90's are proper decent. But if I were you i'd check the engine mounts, it sounds like one is letting go hence the rough idle
