    • @MarquitoRH
      @MarquitoRH 2 года назад

      Ahem, just two examples: Tom Cruise horrifically breaks his ankle jumping between two buildings and finished the shot. Martin Sheen slices his hand open punching a real mirror in the hotel bedroom scene in Apocalypse Now, and when FFC shouts cut because he is worried Sheen says no keep shooting. There are probably a load more too.

    This is what filmmaking is about: it is not about moralizing, it creates conditions for us to experience the worlds and situation we either will never go through or had no chance to reflect upon. It expands our life experience. This movie is a masterpiece, it is already a classical movie.

    It didn’t come across at the end of the film that he had changed his ways or was a genuine person... it was more like he had found a new hustle and was teaching people to get around the system the way he did right back at the start. Maybe that’s just my take on it, but I didn’t see a change in Jordan Belfort at all.

      Jack, some people have to have situations in movies spoon fed to them in order to understand it. You sound like one of those people. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I do feel for you since it sounds like unless something is literal when watching cinema/TV, you don't understand it. Now of course there are those of us who understand metaphors and can look at things in a much deeper sense as well as understand what's inferred. I'm that kind of person so I was able to see Jordan had changed his life and was ensuring he didn't become a nobody after his time in prison. He became rich again doing this and I'm sorry you couldn't figure that out for yourself.

I DID THAT TOO! there is saying there isnt bad puplicity and its true as long as we keep bringin his name up he gettin his clout, stays relevant and while he stays relevant there is ppl to look up to him. This will never end ppl who did something extraordinary will be covered on media and be topic of conversations so it doesnt matter do u say stop glorifying him or not it will go on thats the world we live
