Have a ZX7R which I have stripped and now working on cleaning and then the rebuild. Not an original restore just a tidy up. Keep the videos coming as they are a good motivator 👍

I’m glad I had a week off to sort the engine and other little bits. Trying to strip the frame and swingarm etc, whilst juggling work and family is taking ages! So, got a few more videos to upload. Then I should I have a painted bike. I wanted a 7 before this one, great looking bikes!!

@@8713Thomas I have two 🤣 nice low mileage red one that just needs a tidy up and the one I stripped I want to reduce as much weight (idea of a race rep in Gulf racing colours). Only issue is after buying the bikes last year in April I damaged by lower back so now if I sit on the bike with legs on pegs I am about 6 inches from handle bars😱 lots of physio and sure I will be able to ride (53 now) in the meantime I just have fun on my Drz sm.

👍 nice resto work you have carried out on this bike so far. Sold my ZX7R recently and hoping to pick up a 9R soon .
Prob look through your older vids if there’s info I need with mine . 🤙

That’s what’s I realised when my mate and I went touring. His zx9r was far lighter and bags more uuuumpff !
The 7r probably a better track bike but that’s not what I’m after now.
