Thanks for the video. Did Wacken 2 years ago and it was awesome but I was one of the unfortunate ones turned away last year because of the poor conditions at the campgrounds from the pouring rain. Wanted to go to HellFest this year but tickets sold out in minutes. But we got tickets to Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel Belgium and we’re really looking forward to that. Would still like to make it to HellFest some time and also CopenHell in Denmark. Curious if you’ve been to Graspop or CopenHell.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Havent been to Graspop and Copenhell is on my list of things to do before I die! Then weather and conditions is always a key factor in this, Brutal Assault are really good with this (maybe because it is smaller and more manageable) so for example last year it rained and immediately they put out some grass/hey on all walking areas to soak up so it never got horrible despite rather much rain.
I've only heard great thing about Graspop and Copenhell, there still a dream for me. I've made it to Wacken last here, the campground was f@#! all the way up, tbh.
One major festival is missing from your list and that is the one that i am going to.Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel Belgium.they have five stages about fifty thousand people and it’s very good organized.I’m attending since 2016 and i am very satisfied with it
i have been 3 years in a row to Brutal Assault (2019,2022,2023) but this year i will try out Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania. Their line up is so sick already and it is not even completed.
I went to Hellfest 2022 for my 50th birhday, thought it will be my last festival. Guess what, I wanted more. This year again Hellfest. Why ? First the lineup, you dont get nowhere as many headliner an new upcoming bands. Its so cool, peacefull, nice, you have enough toillets, water, beer, the variety of food is huge and the quality is good. Last big festival before that was Rock am Ring 2003, german festival tend to be a bit messy. Biggest festival was Dynamo open air in Eindhoven (RIP)1994, that was unique absolute chaos.
Here in the Czech Republic, you fly from Canada to Munich, Frankfurt or Berlin, then on the train for 3-4 hours max and the rest is history @@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA
Really like the Video, so no hate or nothing, but I think you got some numbers wrong or used old numbers. Hellfest has more paying costumers then Wacken, it is like 110k v 85k. Same goes for the number of bands, it is closer to 200 in Wacken. I can recomment Reload in Sulingen, it is smaller but really nice and has the adventage that you are close to the town and can walk to a big store in like 15 minutes, so no worry if you miss something. They also have a giant stage (vids on my channel for reference) that is very imperssive. If you like cool setting, you shoul check out Full Force, is is an old steel works on and island. They have stage on a beach so you can watch bands while taking a swim and som nice forest to get some shade, oder all a very cool setting, especially at night, check some pics it looks amazing. Again, like the vids, also enjoyed the best and worst concerst, I did mine in a yt short, wich you a great year with lots of good concerts.
The numbers were a bit confusing to be honest. Hellfest said 60.000 people pr day somewhere and 240.000 over the whole festival. But it makes sense that they are bigger, it looks like that from their videos as well. I will check those two festivals there that you mention I had heard of Full Force but not Reload. I subbed to your channel now! Thanks for watching.
@@metalandrockzone thx, I've returned the favor :) Reload is my fav festival, I much more prefer the smaller festival now and because they only have on stage, can't miss anything. There must be some collective thing going one, because the always have most of the same bands that Wacken and Summer Breeze have.
@@randallbryant9456 Crazy stuff, Rock In Rio 1985 (10 days though) "The first edition of the festival was held from 11-20 January 1985. Queen, George Benson, Rod Stewart, AC/DC, and Yes were the headliners, each occupying top spot for two nights (Benson, however, ceded it to James Taylor for their second night in the same bill, due to the huge delay Taylor's extended performance had caused to his concert two days before). About 1.38 million people attended the 10-day-long festival."

I'm going to Brutal Assault this year and probably Basinfire and Sátan in Iceland 🤘🤘

Bloodstock in the uk will always be my favourite
I need to try that one day!

Graspop every year , this year also Alcatraz which has the best line up this year.

Graspop is great and only 40 minutes from my home, but it does not compare to Wacken in terms of "extracurriculars" and just how big the grounds are.
