- In this video, we take a closer look at Gyeon Mild & Strong Leather Cleaners. The Gyeon Leather Cleaner Mild allows you to gently remove light contamination from your leather surfaces! Dirt, grime and light oily residue is no match for this unique formula. Leather Cleaner does not contain any softening or preserving additives and is safe on all modern types of leather. There are two cleaning options, strong and mild. Strong works best on heavily soiled leather surfaces, while mild is gentler and designed for maintenance cleanings. For added cleaning power, Gyeon recommends using the Gyeon Leather Brush as well. This high-quality formula also helps prep your leather if you want to apply a leather coating like Gyeon Leather Coat afterward. If you are looking to lightly clean or maintain your leather seats the Gyeon Leather Cleaner Mild should be your choice!

What is your favorite leather cleaner?
Geist and Colourlock for now
I wipe down my cars with ONR as they are well maintained. Recently used 3D LVP cleaner on my in laws hammered 12 year old Accord that’s never been detailed. Did a very good job.
Almost out of Fireball Ultimate Leather cleaner - love it, but will probably pick up the mild Gyeon one next - been eyeing it for a while.
Geist
I’m with Humberto Geist & coulorlock in that order
I've used the Gyeon mild for a while and been very satisfied.
Gyeon simply makes great detailing products! I use a scrub ninja too and wipe off with a microfiber soaking in a rinseless wash bucket in case I miss a spot in the cracks of the leather. The strong cleaner is also perfect for heavily soiled plastic parts. Thank you for a great video and I really appreciate your videos!
I use Kochchemie pol star at 10-1 for regular use and 5-1 for stronger cleaning.
I'm always reaching for Gyeon. This is another product I keep on hand. Along with LeatherCoat and LeatherShield
I’ve used both nice products very user friendly
Just ordered thisba few weeks ago and and is now my go to
Thank you Brian! Another great demonstration of a good product. Which is your favorite: the Star or P&S glove?
Can’t wait definitely a fan of the Gyeon leather cleaner.
My favorite currently is Artdeshine Citrus Clean
Those 50/50 shots are really impressive 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Just bought this from the clean garage. Can’t wait to see what it does. Also got the leather shield
Great video as usual sir! I’ve recently have fallen in love with Drive Auto Appearances interior cockpit series. (Interior Detailer, leather cleaner, carpet cleaner, and a conditioner for all) if you haven’t tried them out you need too
Decent product 👊🏼Thanks Brian
Interesting, gloves with the mild and no gloves with the strong. Thanks for the review.
Had gloves delivered....unfortunately, did not show up until that part of the video. Progress stops.....for nothing.
Awesome video and product review good friend
Thanks so much
Seems like a solid product
Clean leather is a very good thing 👍🏻
yeah especially with the gases released by the driver. 😁
Thanks for a great video. Can you pls advise as to what the best products are to clean and then protect/condition BMW Sensatec seats and dash. Best, Costa
Great video! I'm wondering when would you use strong over mild and vice versa?
Mild would be for light stuff, such as oily appearance to the leather, and lighter/less dense looking soiling. Strong would be for heavy soiling (discoloration over an area from dirt/food/grease/jean transfer). In my opinion he probably would have gotten the same results on both seats from just the mild cleaner, because neither were hammered.
@@awpdevil thank you!
Clothing color transfer as mentioned is a good opportunity for the strong cleaner.
Instructive video. Would a steam cleaner make sense to rinse the cleaner before wiping it down?
If used properly....sure.
Nice
Brian, what is your recommendation for a great Alcantara brush? Thank you in advance.
I use very soft detailing or make up brushes.
@@apexdetail85 thank you
What would you recommend that is better then these? Also what do you recommend to condition leather?
Either these or Geist Conditioners just transfer back onto your clothes. They have a hard time penetrating the top coat.
I've used Pinnacle leather cleaner conditioner. works better than the stuff i used from Carpro. The dirtiest part of any interior I find is the steering wheel. It will turn your microfiber black with dirt. Especially when they take their cars in for service. Last interior i did, the woman couldn't believe how her hands stuck to a clean steering wheel. I've noticed some new cars with "pleather". Not a true leather. seems like a vinyl leather blend. Is that possible?
Pleather ...or a synthetic blend is quite common.
I am currently looking for a good leather cleaner. 8/10 is a very good Apex score.
Have you tried Geist? You may want to consider Geist as your next leather cleaner
@timmclaughlin7576 hey thanks.

Have you tried the carbon collective line ? Detail division sells them. There isn’t to much reviews out there. Would love to see your opinion
I like using Leatherique
Will this clean white stitching or turn it brown?
Flush immediately after for bright white stitching.
Anyone else notice those spotless door jams 👀
Jamb; a "jam" is made from fruit.
@@artlayton1425 silly me I was in awe how clean they were 😁
Good stuff
Appreciate it
I like p&s express
I have a white leather interior from 1964, it is a bit dirty and it smells moldy. Should I clean this the same way as modern leather? I tried to clean it with Koch Chemie Pol Star and a relatively soft brush, it is much cleaner but still looks kind of dirty. ( I guess white is an pretty awful color in that regard..)
I know you do not believe in "dressings or conditioner" for leather, but does that also apply to 50+ years old leather? Colourlock says their protector seeps through the "painted" layer on leather. (I think) But I have no experience with leather cleaning in general.
I actually bought Gyeon Strong Leather cleaner a couple days ago, but not tried it yet. I hope it will work good, but I also want to be a bit careful with this old leather.
Conditioners are most effective on aged leather.
@@apexdetail85 Thanks, I think I will try some "Conditioner" when I find it clean enough and see how it works, and/or maybe use the Gyeon Leather Coat. The leather seems to be in good shape though, especially for being so old, I just dont want do dry it out or damage the color or anything. But I guess it is some good old thick leather.
