    Excellent video and great information on how to clean leather. I especially liked the tip of using the three microfibers, one dry initial, one damp 2nd step, 3rd with a dry to make it look finished and OEM. That's brilliant, especially the step #2 with a damp microfiber to mop up any residue.

      Thanks. And the second tip is a pretty important one. A proper full leather interior clean isn’t a quick wipe in, wipe off job imho.

    Hi Y. Thank you so much for this informative video. Today I have done this exactly as you have explained. After that I gave the seats in my Mazda CX-30 Gyeon Leathershield. Preparation is the key 😊. I am thankfull for your help. The seats now looks like a million 👍

    Great video but I miss one detail - my M5 has black seats with blue stitching. I was not brave enough so far to do any cleaning because I'm afraid as I clean the leather that dirty foam will discolour the stitching. To leave the stitching out is impossible. My question is - do I need to worry about it or I can just go ahead as the cleaning and other products will not have effect on the stitching colour? Thank you in advance!

    • @GYEON_official
      @GYEON_official  9 месяцев назад

      Depends of course how dirty the leather is but there is fine masking tape that you can use to tape the stitches off and work around it. This is what is done when leather that has coloured stitching needs to be recoloured.

    At what temperatures could these steps be done? Cleaning with the cleaner and applying leather coat. Just bought a new car and want to protect the Napa leather and here in Sweden it’s around 0 Celsius to 8 Celsius right now and i don’t have a warm garage.
    Best regards

    So, how do you clean BMW sensatec?

    • @GYEON_official
      @GYEON_official  3 года назад +3

      You can use LeatherCleaner but when it is really dirty a solution of APC will work as effective and in extreme cases more efficient.

    I have the mild leather cleaner without the pump action.
    It will come out foamy just by putting the pump head on the spray bottle ?

    • @Mogsy28uk
      @Mogsy28uk 3 года назад

      mine foams as it is as a regular bottle spray, and good enough to shift the odd bit of blue jeans dye too on a Subaru ivory interior.

    • @GYEON_official
      @GYEON_official  3 года назад +3

      The pump head does not fit on a regular bottle. When you purchase a leather set you have a pump spray bottle in the box and then you can refill this with your LeatherCleaner product.

      Sure. Remeber to start with the least aggressive Q2M LeatherCleaner first.

    He ignored all the seams when drying the cleaning residue😣 gotta peel those back sometimes the crumbs won’t unstick with a vacuum alone and it needs surfactant to unstick, but not removing the cleaning solution means all the grit remains and with use the seat rubs the dirt into the seams like sandpaper causing complete detachment over the years. 👍
