Rickshaw will do the Sinclair as a 3x3, so 6 sewn slots and then a 2 pen coozy in the center prevents them from touching. They don't upcharge for this. Love their attention to detail. That Guatemalan fabric is beautiful!

That's a really great idea and that's awesome that they will do that customization without up charging! Yes the quality and attention to detail is on point. Thank you!

The Nock Co Sinclair was my favorite pen case, so I was very happy when they collaborated with Rickshaw to bring it back as the Sinclair-R. They made it even better.
I usually have 3 fountain pens on one side, a small notebook in the middle section and a gel pen, a water brush and a fine liner in the pocket on the other side. Sometimes I’ll include an extra fountain pen or two.

That's awesome! Sounds like a nice set up you have there! I've been very pleased with the craftsmanship, it's so well made! & I absolutely love the customization for fabric etc also!

Have you tried the new Esterbrook pen cup? It's fabulous for working at home and keeping 6 pens so easily accessible, yet protected. The design allows it to stand upright and the to to fold down. It's also protective enough for running out to a coffee shop (or a pen meet, in your case - I'm so envious because we have nothing in my area).

I'm familiar with the Esterbrook cup but I haven't tried it! It looks very cool and it's a creative offering! Are there any Stationary Shops (like small business style) near you were you have a chance to come across any fountain pen users?

@nlamproplos awww that's sad. I know some penclubs did virtual meet ups, maybe that would be a nice option?
Perhaps even some followers here would be interested?

The reason why leather is not used on the inside is because it's abrasive properties.

Ohhh. Interesting. I wonder if even the reverse side being suede has abrasive properties toward pens? For instance, the single pen sleeve is entirely leather.

@@fountainPENdulum Usually it just polishes (like our hands an fingers) but over time it can leave scuff marks and it can catch dirt and oils easily. Leather will hold it better cause of it's abrasive properties and synthetic will keep them better over time but it can make things too slippery due to it's non abrasive properties. It all depends on the type of case...

      Thanks, that's very insightful!
