I love Rickshaw Bagworks pen cases. I have 2 - 3 pen and 2 - 2 pen cases to fit all my fountain pens. They nestle together perfectly and make it easy to bring my pens everywhere. They're super cozy and plush and you're right, the various patterns are a lot of fun to color coordinate pen color with pen case patterns/colors.
Rickshaw messenger bags for traveling can’t be beat. They’re fully customizable and the pen cases fit perfectly inside. The Esterbrook To-Go-Cup is a great EDC or go between the office and home. For home cases, I prefer wood cases that hold more than 20 pens. Ray Jones boxes are beautiful hand crafted wood cases.
My Esterbrook 2 Go Cup is with me wherever I go! It also fits a handful of paintbrushes amongst the pens, so I'm ready for every arts & crafts sort of activity. Love this sort of pen holder!
I have quite a few of the Rickshaw and I love them, especially the Cozy cases. Galen is my next favourite both Rickshaw and Galen I can say they are of very high quality.
Thanks for the video on pen cases. I purchased an Esterbrook 20 pen case, but found I still needed a spot for the recently out of rotation pens. So I purchased a case not shown in your video. Looking forward to its arrival!
That’s an impressive range of pen cases you have there! I surprised myself wanting the ”demonstrator” case, in spite of being quite practical about my writing instruments, favouring slim black pens.
"People buy phone cases for their phone with a 2-year lifespan." Me: Fondly remembering 7-years with my Samsung Galaxy S3, and now going on 5 years with my S10+... 👀 Must be an Apple thing. Rickshaw does make very nice cases. I have a single-pen case of theirs, and my FPD2023 3-pen case is my staple pen transport.
When we toured the Lamy factory in Heidelberg, Germany, we saw all their plastic raw materials and the injection molding machines at work. The pens are truly made in Germany. Every bit.
@@GoldspotPens I've watched the video! Yes their pens are made in Germany, but where is the ABS plastic made as Lego (blocks) are also made of ABS plastic!
@4:00 - I was ordering a 12-slot, and then I read that it was fake leather. For $140, I better get something straight off a cows ass. That's robbery for layered plastic PU...
Nice overview. On a side note, I've noticed recently that some content creators are trying to increase the production value of their videos by varying their camera shots. While this is nice, there is one aspect that I find both distracting and annoying. It's the side shot when the person is simply speaking. I appreciate the side shots when these show a different angle of, for example, an object like a pen case being presented. However, when just showing a side angle of the person speaking, it causes a disconnect for me. My mind thinks, "Who are they talking to? Obviously not me. They aren't looking at me." It feels gimmicky. In a video where multiple people are speaking with each other, this kind of shot is fine. With a single presenter, it feels unnatural. I don't know how many others share this view, or if most people could care less, but I wish content creators would stop doing this.
Watching through your old videos, and I had to laugh at the opening words. Of course you're trying to sell us things we don't need -- no one needs a fountain pen, either! You're trying to sell unnecessary things to people who already want to buy unnecessary things. It's a match made in heaven! 🤣
I love the Esterbrook 2go cup! I got the magenta limited edition (for fountain pen day) and love how it looks on my desk. It is also nice to have more of a feminine style in pen cases. 🩷

Well, wasn't this a geekilicious video.😍😍😍 I had to watch it twice so I could take in all the details.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice choice of pen cases‼️ Thanks.

The Galen Leather folio is the perfect all in one, but the esterbrook 2go cup is amazing too
I use the 48 pen case so the pens are protected and I can see what I have in order to select what I feel like using.

1:09 what an insightful point!
I have the Esterbrook case, Absolutely Love it 😊😎
I'm a bit different with my pen cases. They all are tactical pouches like you would see on military gear that hold up to 8-12 pens.
A pen case is an absolute necessity for protection and longevity.
I use padded pen rolls for all my pens but my celluloid Waterman 555 lives in a Rickshaw sleeve.
Excellent introduction.. Good collection of pen cases
Thanks for watching!
❤awesome
I generally have 5 pens inked each month.

Esterbrook Cup is great. Need one on my desk instead of spreading the pens around.

I know that Lamy A6 note books are made in Italy and their pens are made in Germany, however, where is their ABS plastic made?

I prefer a Yak Crazy Horse pen storage. Just my opinion. Highest quality.

Is that a giant Lamy???!! 😆

Sorry but the video sounds like an ad read.

That FPD 2023 Magenta one was 🔥🔥🔥
