Can we turn this into a meme?
Seriously, why are we watching this if it's only 30% done? I can wait for 70%, what's the rush?
@@landonletterman831 This is the end of the game (well was meant to be) but Konami forced time constraints on Kojima and so it was cut and replaced with the ending we got instead. Soon after Konami cut all ties with Kojima and blacklisted him so this will unfortunately never see the light of day.
No.
No
It would be a great meme against turkey tom.
"It's not my fault"
"It's not your fault"
Then CJ from Gta SA suddenly come out of nowhere just to said “Dont blame me, blame yourself “
If MGSV was allowed to finish, it would have gotten game of the decade.
Well, you can say that for a ton of games. But MGSV especially.
This was part of the real ending part 3? Damn Konami...
"This is Pequod, coming in hot!"

Eli knew that he could change society, so instead of reflecting on himself he blamed the Boss
HEAVEN OR HELL
Liquid- “and I took the personally”
What my grades would say if they can talk:
If this was Naked Snake he would probably paint the ground red with Liquid's face
He really took those words to heart
"That's right. Don't blame yourself. Blame me."
Yourself: MGS Fans
Me: Konami
For firing Kojima, cutting this ending as well as canceling Silent Hills & other projects & giving you MG Survive & Pachislots.
Call me crazy, I cannot imagine David Hayters voice coming out of MGSV Big Boss, like just aesthetically.
I love Hayter's voice, but in GZ and TPP I've come to accept Sutherland's voice. Besides he's pretty good, the casette tapes are pretty fulfilling for me while waiting for developments.
Pretty…good…?
"Father knew what kind of a balance was best!" - Liquid MGS1
i feel the phantom pain
help I can't stop rewatching this
Why couldnt konami and kojima just finish this arc and then they can go on to fo different things.
Because "money"
I'll keep this in my hearth
lol same
I will forever be in anguish knowing we will never see this fully completed.
in a different universe, people got to see this finished...
The shaking camera really sells it
It feels like this was the original direction of the story ending what with the whole emmerich telling venom its his fault for everything.
I think then kojima realised he could make the player feel the phantom pain of the game being "unfinished" and made the truth ending to make us as fans feel we were big boss.
damn a half-mask looks really good on snake
Relevant
is that in the game or what because i finished the game and never saw this
Episode 51, an uncompleted mission. It was featured in the bonus disc.
You literally don't deserve the title of "Big Boss" 🤦♂️ then again i guess thisbcould count as your codec call to ask obvious stuff 😂
@@snowy_sphinx wait so you cant name yourself after a character you liked unless you memorized every single detail down to the number of pubes snake has?
@@tntcake6327 yee
@@tntcake6327 [edit: fixed typos] way to miss the point entirely.
No but its absolutely hilarious to name yourself after someone of that caliber and then not know that the game isn't finished...i wouldn't call the incomplete state of MGS:V a "a single detail down to the number of pubes snake had"...it was kinda a huuge controversial topic and anyone paying attention to the plot might notice it isn't finished...
If you think that is a minute detail maybe you are a bit obtuse for the series 😅
No offense.
But this is literally the equivalent if i named myself "Sherlock Holmes", changed my profile pic, stylized an entire RUclips channel after that theme and then asked "wait..Sherlock Holmes was in a book?"
Dont get me wrong im all for defending strangers on the internet but this is just kinda bizarre to me🤦♂️
Seriously, it's like claiming to be a Mario fan after only ever seeing the live action show and not knowing its a video game series...its well within your right to call yourself a fan..but you better be ready to be made fun of for not knowing the obvious 😂😂😂
Kiefer Southerland must have had like 50 words in the ENTIRE GAME
Even NPC had more scenario then him Xd
He's more talkative on the tapes
@@MinecraftMasterNo1 yeah we get adleast two maybe three "uh huhs"
Kiefer has a ton of recorded dialogue in the game files, it was all just cut for some reason. Likely a change in direction for the character after it was recorded.
@@DangerSquad
they did it cause they know how much people love David
David did something, he wasn't JUST a voice actor
He gave life to a fiictional character
EVERY time he would put ALL of his emotion into the character
He EVEN stated in 1 of his many interviews that he felt connected to the character of SNAKE
He EVEN accepted less money from Konami to KEEP been Snake !!!
Tell me 1 person who would do that right now !
1 person that is THIS connected to a character as david
give a break here man
@@monkeydjimmy5169
I doubt it, if they cared that much they wouldn't have gotten rid of him to begin with.
(And would have at least given him more notice that they were looking for someone else)
It also doesn't make a lot of sense to spend so much money for all these extra lines just to not use them out of a sense of respect
(This is Konami we're talking about lol 😅 , they didn't even respect Kojima, why would they respect Hayter)
My guess is that it would be a mixture of cut content and the story changing
(Maybe even just alternative lines that were later picked from)
Past me talking to present me
cant believe i can relate to an egg

Damn, I need to play this game again, even though this scene isn’t in it. Wish it was, though.

If we can get the snyder cut im pretty sure we can get this game remastered with extras scenes and extra gameplay
There is 0 chance in hell of that happening. Konami doesn't want to make games this expensive anymore and cut all ties with Kojima
This dialogue fits well for *Konami.*
"And what ever you do don't blame your brother for stealing everything before you were born."

That one line basically sums up every relationship in Liquid's life
7 years later, this game was awesome but it could've been the greatest game ever-and would probably not be surpassed.
The fact that he’s not even a clone of that boss and venom has done nothing but help Eli
Poor Liquid. I wish him and Solid got to an understanding...
This is going in my forum weapons (to surpass Metal Gear) playlist
Alright, will do.
Venom Snake stole all the oranges in New Zealand, sorry to say.
No better story than metal gear solid. So damn deep. I wish they could be remastered
AMAZING, MISSION COMPLETE! That right there is why You're the best, boss. The one and only.
well now i know where that pathfinder quote comes from
What's great is that once you realize that many mgsv moments are a reflection of Kojimas relationship with Konami, you realize that this has a much deeper meaning

Bruh venom snake is kinda more badass than big boss though
Reading the title I expected him to mean it genuinely that he takes all the blame, because thats usually what venom does, he takes responsibility for everything and everyone. But I also respect him telling eli how it is and teaching him that he also needs to take responsibility.
