I’m glad the initial ride went pretty good with only a minor issue. Looked like a fun day with the low $ stroker! 😎
I learned the hard way too years ago to put a little mini high torque starter on anything and everything if it is going to get used on or for anything that will be getting worked pretty hard and getting warm enough to have any issue with a starter period.
Not running too bad for a shakedown 2.0!😊

Wow she is a freaking N/A beast, sounding strong. Yeah during first startup it sounded like a draging/tired starter
but other than that she is a strong beast, can't wait for break in, for some ripping street pulls.

I know some SN95 Cobras came with a 5.8, but i think Ford should had offered a fox body with one.

Some Georgia Highway Patrol cars were available with a 351, and they were 5 speed, and yes coupes. I know, I have one.
I believe 1990 thru 1993, but don't quote me on the exact years available.
Mine also has subframe connectors and integral seat braces.
Mate that sounds and runs great. I'd have a smile ear to ear.
Intially guessed 325 - 360 rwhp a few vids back... Not knowing what cam (still don't know) ... But output has a sound to it through the exhaust....
Based on my ears and visual senses, and calculating guess on hp/tq output per cube minus drivetrain loss... my new guess is 375rwhp and 395rwtq.
Can't wait to see what it actually makes! Been an interesting series!

I built one just like that and I used a scat crankshaft and eagle rods and a set of d.s.s.-X groove pistons and a set of 192 cc heads and a bullet custom cam, made 498.hp-512 torque on a super-flo dyno,,, we definitely need a bigger head or we could just turn the boost up,,, thanks for the content and the engine sounds amazing!!!!
Runs strong for sure. Idk if you ever stated it in the previous videos but how much do you have in the short block money wise with buying the crank, additional balancing, pressing pistons off/on, rings/bearings etc? I know the rods and pistons were used but curious how cheap one could replicate this engine
No more money than you would spend on a normal rebuild. I didn’t have to pay for pistons or boring. Which saves almost a grand.

I'm building one, too. What company did ya buy the crank from? Having a hard time finding a 3.850 crank with factory rod and main sizes. Most are 2.749 mains and 2.1 rod. Frustrating. I got the rods, block, and pistons ready to go.

Neo how long should we wait to change the engine oil? Looks like you had maybe a good 20 minutes or so of idle time. And close to 1 hour of drive time with some decent heat and rpm???
After you break it in. Breaking it in is getting the motor hot and a series of motor RPM breakin techniques
@Neomustangs That makes sense. Thank you. Kinda like when I bought a car off a guy back in the day, and it had an Alpine audio system in it. It was installed by an audio company. The guy I bought the car off of said it was in the vehicle for 7 years. He said the subs were in good condition and he never pushed them hard. 2 of the settings were on a 3/7. And the volume never went over 15/35. Nonetheless, the system sounded ok but not the best. After a couple of weeks, it got better and better. Then I realized the damn system wasn't broken in yet. Crazy! Which brings us back to my first theory. You're right it doesn't go off time but rather break in procedures and techniques.

@Neomustangs lol damn ok... it was at a supposed friends house for over a year only thing he did was take all the fuses out.... took the brake pads off... and put a big dent where the gas cap is
