Yes my dear North American ladies please beware that church attire is still much much more conservative in Europe especially Italy and Spain where there are more Catholics. Do NOT show shoulders, cleavage, too much leg in church. Don't wear denim especially the lighter washes! Keep it classy
I have travelled in many parts of the world but the best dressed people (especially men!) are definitely found in Italy! Not the whole of Italy is as well dressed, but in Milan for example, it is a delight to see them!

Nice to see some Italian wear. It made me think of an actual trip to Italy in summer. It's a stretch but Italy is the home of western civilization. So much history. I'd love to visit Rome and many historical sites and just laze around and soak up the culture. Have a nice vacation!
Amazing ideas! I went to Italy ooo over 25 years ago and shorts were not advised. It’s nice that that has changed especially for summer. Personally I don’t wear shorts anymore but I could swap those out with a skirt or Capri pants. Please do more. It’s fun watching others plan for a vacation and pretending I’m going too💕

Your outfit choices were cute. When we went to Italy in 2016 & 18, my choice of wardrobe was dictated by what I could fit in my carryon suit case & backpack & the destinations we planned to visit. We took many trains & walked alot of steps around our destination. I was so glad not to have heavy luggage when we walked up hill to the train station in the little town we were visiting (no cabs😕 available).

So just 5 minutes ago I had gotten an email from a company where I used to be a frequent flyer--I'm talking serial buyer--of course I knew better some habits die hard. Of course I thought I would take a peek and immediately fell in love with a blouse, I stopped myself before I added it to my card and said what would Alyssa do so I said okay what do I have in my closet it might not be the same thing but something that would totally be a stand in something I already have and of course I thought of three different blouses. I love the black shorts with the silk scarf and off white tie Espadrilles. I have all those pieces but would never have put them together here in the Boston suburbs. Really, we dress so bland around here. ;-) Sometimes it feels like I am over dressed, even when I am wearing an "Old Navy" sun dress to the movies and dinner afterwards on a very hot and humid day, just a few days ago. BTW, I also have a seer sucker pencil skirt with front pockets and I never thought to put a red bag with it. Very nice! Can't wait to put that outfit together soon. :-)
