@cambrieabobby4162 I 100% agree! She really is lucky to have you and your family bobby!! It warms my heart to see. Because I have seen some my great uncle’s and aunt’s that had been placed in homes due to the inability of their immediate families to be able to care for them (often for medical reasons) and they all got worse and worse day by day being in those type of environments. So I’m so so very happy you all are caring for her as you are because it is definitely so much better for her in so very many ways. I have always thought you all were great people but this whole situation with bringing grandma into your home and all the things you are doing for her really shows just how awesome your family is. So much love. ❤️❤❤️

I'm not a nurse but worked in health care for over 30 years. I was always taught to pull a wheelchair backwards through a door, etc., because if you notice most time the wheels are larger on the back. Not only is it easier, it's for safety. I'm so glad to see grandma is enjoying herself. I bet it won't be long before the cats are using Bailey as a "bed". Your kids are adorable! God bless you all.

Wow Grandma looks so much more upright than she did when she first came, like the walker has definitely improved her posture ❤ Also as someone who has had cats for 2 decades, Bailey may have to have a cat swipe at some point to learn his place. Dogs can be a bit full on and the cats will tell him his place which is sometimes what the dog needs 😂 the animals actually work it out amongst themselves eventually 😉 they will be fine, it will just take a slow pace 🐾

Grandma is looking good and happy. Put out feelers for a wheelchair like a buy nothing group, it could be used temporarily. But, yeah, Grandma seems more at home, and her room is very nice.

Grandma is really settling in to her new home with all of you in Florida! Be so careful with Minnie on the dog run in front of the house! She seems to prefer her freedom running around in the fenced area behind the house. I am so impressed that Xander and Bjorn were able to assemble and arrange the new outdoor chest! What a great help!
Bless your family for the love and compassion you show every day. I took care of my parents for a long time and this really brought back memories . Thank God you are there for your Grandma. ❤

My hubby is a Vietnam veteran. Any time I put anything with gravy in front of him he is visibly repulsed. Says he ate all of the sh.. on the shingles he ever had to in the military 😂😂😂

And it's lovely to see Freya catchin' lizards lol that was my favorite part of our trip to Florida when I was little! Catching frogs from the lake or crawdads and collecting clay from the creek. Gotta love the adventures of childhood. I still love exploring nature and am inspired now lol. Oooo the best is the woods on a sunny day after its rained and the steam and smell coking off the wood! Absolutely love that smell!

Great job boys!!! Reading those directions & working together is what it’s all about. Bonus you got to help your Dad out. I’m sure he was proud & appreciated your work. PS… You should put Bailey out front every once in awhile. Let those strangers who drive by know there is a big ole vicious watch dog at this home. If you hammer the tie down spot out by the tree but make sure he can get to the door. Just saying….people driving by would know…that’s the house with the BIG Dog. My sister had a 240lb English Mastiff. He had piles of stuffed animals there were his babies. He never destroyed them. He would nibble with his front teeth. But anyone who pulled in the driveway was scared to even get out of the car. Let them believe he is mean. Added protection to your home & kiddos. ❤. With the walker. Grandma can always put a store basket on the top of the seat. If she is wanting to walk around the store. My Mom will do that.

That was what I was waiting for with Bailey and the cats.
Consider the fact that the dogs may “help” with cleaning the litter box if put on their level. It may be easier to keep the litter box in Grandma’s room.
I had 2 cats and a dog. One of the cats was the boss of my dog (pit bull mix) and the other one never warmed up to him. They just kept to themselves. They found an eventual truce. Nice to see Grandma in this one!
To help keep the swelling down in Grandma's legs, fructose should be avoided, along with starchy foods. As you know, carbs cause everyone problems. Bless you and yours for welcoming Grandma and her babies into your home. P.S. Biscuits and gravy are one of the unhealthiest things you could eat, no matter how delicious.

I push the grocery cart while sitting in my wheelchair, being pushed from my relative/caregiver. The more grandma walks, the better she will get at it.

I love that you guys are taking such good care of Grandma and her kitties. The cats may be too scared to use the litterbox in the room with Bailey and might potty elsewhere. The dogs might also try to eat the cat 💩. Make sure to keep the cat food up so the dogs wont eat it either. Cat food is bad for dogs and vice versa. Eventually the cats will come around. ❤

Bobby my daughter is in a wheelchair that is a really nice one and we always have to go backwards when going over bumps, standard procedure. Also always go backward when going down a ramp.

I have cared for seniors for many years and see what a great setup you have for Grammie Gloria! I use black zip ties to hold the brake lines against the walker frame. Looking good!

Wasn’t that Cambriea saying ‘oh yeah’ in the intro? Freya’s bluest eyes came shining through in this video. Wow, good declutter of your closet. Good to see grandma, she might like a walker with a seat. That’s what I have and along with being able to sit down when I need I use it to tote around stuff. I cart around my laundry, groceries, my granddaughter 😃. It is just convenient for me. Your kids are so gentle with the cats. Oh I see you got grandma a seated walker too, you have her all set up. I like the cane holder because yes you sometimes need a cane to get into spots your walker won’t. I lucked out and got my walker, bath bench, wheelchair, knee ice machine and toilet riser free from where I retired and I can use them for as long as necessary. My canes are from my dad who passed 25 years ago, still taking care of me.😊

Helpful review of the walker/wheelchair! Nice to see you adjusting Grandma and the cats to a situation that will actually work for your family - having the cats and dogs in the sun room. Glad to see you made sure you had the right umbrella for the job. I don't know if I would return one and get a bigger one, but it is the right thing to do. The larger bush that you transplanted may benefit from pruning off about one third of the branches off. This will allow it to provide energy to the root system and not try to get enough water to the leaves. It needs to root in, then it will be ok.
Good tip, we will have to try that.
I was also coming to say you should give that shrub some root stimulator. Water alone will not be enough, especially with hot weather coming. 😊
