I'm not a fan of the traditional bear paw block, but this bear paw track design is 100% clever & really cute!!!
Thanks for designing it & sharing here.
Thanks so much!! Glad you like it.
Love! I normally don’t like bear paws in quilts. This layout is stunning.
Thank you so much!
One of your best tutorials ever! I was especially glad to see today's project because I had started a quilt similar to this years ago and got frustrated and quit. Now I can't wait to rescue it from the drawer!
Yay!! Pull that out and get it finished!!
Nice block! I like it😊
Another great tutorial! I always look forward to your new quilt designs. I especially like this updated take on a traditional pattern. To use up the scraps from the fat quarters, you could cut and join the scrap strips into a scrappy binding. The joined strips from the 15 fat quarters would more than supply binding for this quilt. Love your tutorial and love your t-shirt, where did you get it?
Thanks! The shirt I'm wearing in this video is years old and I can't remember where I purchased it.
Can you make this with a layer cake?
This is my question too!
@@amberwilhite776 I bet we could figure it out!
Hopefully my brain isn’t too foggy this morning and I’m calculating correctly in my head…. You can use a layer cake. However, you’ll need one square per paw. You’re short one 3” square of getting 2 paws. If you have 2 matching fabrics in your layer cake you can get 4 paws per 2 10” squares. Cut (4) 4-½” squares from one and (8) 3” squares from the other.
Thanks for doing the math on this!!

thanks Amanda. 18" length not width, i.e., wofq is 21-22". I know you know I kept waiting for you to correct yourself. love ya
Yes! Thank you!
