Ive always stopped myself from starting a business retromodding cars for people, because i thought people know how to do it already. But seeing this, i realise thats not true, and i see just how easy it is to completely blow the average (non car) persons mind with very simple upgrades.
That is SOOO practical, i feel like if he said to his Mrs "have you seen my phone ?" and she said, it's in the gun draw....its in the dog food bin .... it's in the dummy/game bag bin" .... he could go to it instantly, such a brilliant build 😳 i'll be in touch when i win the lottery 🤭

Got some very nice alternatives to the chequered plate pattern in RSA... Little knobs diagonally across the fenders and bonnet plates. Wish I could send a photo... The plates on the sides is actually not for show, but stiffens the soft aluminium that get hammered in rough off road situations.. Nice Landy, nice job...
Oooh that's mean! Pulling out the C word! We customise country cars for country lifestyles and I'm going to have to resuscitate our workshop manager at the mere suggestion that he's created a *Chelsea Tractor*! There, I said it. Someone pass me the mouthwash 🤮
I may be nice to a certain point, but I don't see anything really that special. It is boxy, square, and really not all that appealing. And playing the sombre music in the background doesn't help either.
Land Rover really like that boxy aesthetic and you either love it or hate it! The Defenders have a huge cult following, and we are a little bit in love with them. We don't just work with Land Rovers though, so keep an eye open for curvier projects!
@@squireeditionsltd As using an unreliable vehicle in the Australian outback, can have extremely serious consequences, there are few LRs to be seen. I guess like VW T2s, LR has a cult following, and all the downsides are ignored?

@gloomygoblin my 1995 defender is the most reliable out of all my vehicles actually, which are two audi a3, an iveco daily, an isuzu trooper and a vw transporter. Had it 22 years and only let me down once. And I'm an arborist so it gets absolutely abused, all day long. hmmm.. having looked at one up close.. I'm not so sure. Firstly... 13.5 meter turning circle.. 70cm wider than a regular 110 which was already terrible.. also.. 4 full turns lock to lock to add insult to injury.. 2.9tons... no matter which engine you choose, drinks like a fish... Good BMW auto gearbox though.. Interior space is barely any different either despite the bigger dimensions.. Yes, the Grenadier would be safer in an accident as a result... I'll give you that. The looks are ok, but there's no escaping echoes of a Ssanyong of old.. and.. if emerging owner experiences are to be believed.. quality control leaves a lot to be desired, coupled with poor dealer support (allegedly..). I seriously considered one earlier this year.. but I'll happily stick with my JE Engineering modified 110.. which also happens to drink like a fish having a 4.8 V8 300hp+ engine, but that was by choice.

Your Defender now smells like dog food. That’ll be £175,000 please. 😂

Beautiful and well done . Cheers from Steve Stott In Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A.
Thank you Steve
awsomeness👌
Lovely
It’s nice to give the old girl a brush up and improvements to the looks and performance……the defender improvements are nice as-well.
Woow big Bravo 👏 well done guys I mean really...
His wife has lovely pants
That is absolutely outstanding, love the gun case beautiful defender well done👊
Thanks😁
Is it compulsory to wear everything Harkila on the videos??
Seeing what it means to work hard to achieve something is special and here we see it twice, Tom and Squire clearly making Jason's day made my day!
Thank you 🙏
You hit it on the button... Nice job done in only two weeks, happy clients, lovely Landy customised for it's use...
Well done 🇿🇦

Definitely want to see videos on the next phases of this project!!! There are some great ideas here for us bird dog owners!
Speechless at the reveal, says it all.
Thanks😁
What a motor; I’d swap that for my Freelander
Wonder what you can do with a late ‘90s Jeep.
Just brilliant 👍👍👍👍
Agreed
Think I saw one of your cars the other day, do you travel in a convoy with four moter bikes?
Whilst our Squire vehicles are worthy of a convoy, this was a special event, rather than the norm ;)
@@squireeditionsltd it did look very James Bond ish

Superb 👏👏👏👏👏
lovely bits of kit but only 2 videos in and 2 different vehicles but have they only got 2 tins of paint
Looks incredible…and the price?🤔
How much did it cost ??
It look great, the utility defenders are beautiful looking trucks. I’d could nt drive that to a shoot it’s too cheesy / cringe factor for me.
Number plate was a nice touch haha, wish people wouldn’t chequer plate everything though
You love it or hate it Henry! It's one of the many conversations we have with clients before we start work. If they want it, we build it!

Next stage, EV power plant, then it will be a true outdoor, clean, quite, powerful in any situation vehicle ....
And utterly useless for off-road or sustained hard work for 16 hours or more in foul weather.

Nice, but can you afford the diesel on them.
If you can afford a $100k defender you can afford some diesel.
I did not know that alcohol and guns go together
They go very well together 😂
Usually improves my shooting 😅
Normal people can distinguish between the two, and know not to mix them.

Please explain me how alcohol, driving and shooting a gun mix together?
I go hunting for a long time so I am surrounded by guns....

Meegaaaaaaa
Looks good but needs a winch to finish it off
It wasn't something that Jason wanted, but we can always sort that for him later if he changes his mind 👍
So just a blingy Chelsea tractor then🤷♂️
Well. No. Obviously not, as the video was about a Defender specifically modified for a particular rural job.
@@matthewkeith8605they haven’t done anything special here. I could bolt all this lot on in my driveway.

A Landcruiser seems like a far better choice than an LR?

How about taking something like a Chevrolet Suburban and turning it into a tow monster for off-road?

We'll try to get a video day with Jason so that you can see the tyres being put to good use! That beast goes off road every day.
just get the new grenadier! It is better in every possible way.
You're having a laugh🤣🤣🤣
Actually the grenadier isn't a patch on the old defender in my limited experience and talking to owners of both.....

This defender is no longer produced so it’s irrelevant to say how great it was
