@@rickheathcote5381😂😂😂 was just about to comment that
🤣🤣 lucky bastard
Avi... pull your socks up!
Nice compacted stone and rebar. That should last a week once it goes off before it cracks and sinks 👍
it only a dog run not foundations for runway
I hope they keep this programme going it's good.
Tweed wearing builders, first I've seen 😂
No mesh in that slab ? That will be broken up in a few months 😂😂
It’s a glorified shed…. Doesn’t need mesh or re bar in it
@@chrisbax760 it does if you want it to last more than a few weeks 😂😂
@ako5bcv Don't be silly that slab is only for a shed ffs nothing big is gonna be driving on it.
Exactly
@@chrisbax760 cowboy course it does
Edit. No rebar is unheard of. It’ll crack, also it will move because the stone base hasn’t been compacted. Vinny was right. Sack that mug bodge merchant
Its a slab for a shed ffs, not like its going to have heavy traffic running over it. It'll be fine
@03:02, "Cause there are no f***ing hedgehogs", brilliant !
VINNIE JONES HAS GOT A TV SHOW IM JUST LEARNING OF THIS
No rebar, 😂 concrete like water, still setting a month later
It’s a glorified shed get a grip
I live in Watford. The hedgehogs absolutely LOVE dried mealworms. My daughters and I would sit on the trampoline waiting and the hedgehogs would come and all you would hear is nom nom nom nom
Craig fairbrass labouring 😂😂😂
Having a barney with 'The Axe' good luck with that mate!
Such country folk with their tweed flat caps on.
Omg IM loving Vinnie
The hell with Vinnie....who's the GORGEOUS Blonde ! ! !
I can't believe they poured that concrete without any rebar for reinforcement. Vinnie, who are these cowboys?
you dont need rebar in a shed base.....
@@scottyw0tty420 Well my friend, if that's a shed then it's a fu#*ing big shed. Anyone knows that concrete slabs, which haven't been reinforced with rebar ar prone to cracking, especially in winter. It's good-practice to always reinforce large slabs no matter what their purpose. So thanks for the lecture, but no thanks.
@@robertw.1499 well given the fact that i build off of concrete slabs on a daily basis as a bricklayer, and have layed many footing and slabs myself, steel reinforcement is not a necessity and is only used when necessary, i.e. ground conditions, weight of the structure being used etc. You saying frost could crack it, that problem can be eliminated by using fibres and s2 concrete, all these things have been strength tested by engineers.... hence why our buildings are not prone to falling down.
@@scottyw0tty420 It would be remiss of me not to admit to making a mistake, in this case, I obviously have. I had heard of using fibres in the concrete mix, wasn't aware however that those fibres could lend such stability to the slab. My apologies Scotty 🙏
I can't believe that you didn't work out that the whole scene surrounding that was obviously heavily staged.
Really enjoyed this series, hope there's more to come!
Australian concreter here, happy to help mate
The proper men that are great friends should be …. Too many people this days you can’t say shit too ….. Proper Men 🙏
Ain’t that George from bald builders 😂
It's the same geezer but he was always with vinnie they just filmed with em
Every man needs an Emma in his world.
Really like this series. Vinnie is a natural... I wish them both all the best. 🌞🌞🇬🇧
lol. The problem you’ve got is badgers eat hedgehogs so you can’t have both. !!! 🤣🤣😂🤣😂
I'd love a job helping vinnie out
VJ i used to have his poster on my wall not in that way but i even got the nickname vinny at school because at football i wasnt maybe very good because i would boot every fker except the ball, one kid did say i was a great defender mind you but this guy was my hero growing up
carrying on the gentlemen role what a show that was
vinnie owned that lazy toss pot
if youve got badgers around you got no chance of seeing hogs
Or immigrants
thats bs we have both round where i live
@@Piffaliff Cause you do, effing pigs fold em flat and eat em... ya throbber
@@Piffaliff Indeed, there is a copse on a mound at the back of our garden, where there is a badger sett on either side, set among the myriad of rabbit warrens and there are so many hedgehogs about too that both my dogs have got bored of hassling them and completely ignore them now.At least one family of hedgehogs has moved into the stable our geese use for shelter and they seem to happily cohabit.
Haven't you heard the term 'Mad as a badger?' (This is related to when a badger treads on a hedgehog....) David Attenborough told me that whilst knee deep in concrete, building a kennel.
No dpm, no re-bar.
For a shed slab? Lol
Really good show 👍
He's told Vinnie he's paying for 30 tonnes of concrete!😂 More like 4 if that!
Where is the reinforcement mesh for that size slab! Vinnie was right, getting the wool pulled over your eyes!!
An important concrete pour, you could cover it with vinnies cap
These are clearly not professional Builders, but funny though. Let’s just hope his buildings stay up after. 🤣👍
Who needs a hard hat when you got a flat cap on
Smidge wrong😂
Plenty of hedgehogs on the roads 😂
Wait what, they didn't whack the hardcore for the kennel. I've seen the comments about no rebar but I've seen it all now. I'd say that "builder" would be the type to cut stripes of damp proof or radon barrier and have them sticking out just a tad just before the solids are laid. solids He needs to take off his flat cap and put back his ten-gallon on his 'ead.
CONCRETE FEVER,
Two things u never give a irish man- concrete and whiskey.
Why is there no steel in that base?? Or expansion joints 🤷🏼♂️
The base was poured in one pour so wouldn't need expansion joints, the whole base would expand as one unit
You can do what you want! Just stop thinking! 😂😂😂 ❤
You got no hedgehogs coz me and the boys have been and eaten them all. Tasty 😋
i need to walk around with a tape measure more
This is way better than clarkies crappy show 😂 love it!
No steel reinforcing??? wont last five years ,it will crack and split .
.....nope.... it wont.
I hope it doesn't but it will crack
@@scottyw0tty420
Cowboys no Re-Bar no Reinforcements,,, Going to have problems in the future,,,,And I'm a Concrete Ganger
@@joecmccluskeyconcrete ganger okay mate lol. It's a slab for a shed ffs
@@MerkySnick hes gotta be American, if you called yourself a concrete ganger here you would get fukin demolished. Doesnt realise that concrete slabs are designed for a purpose, doesnt realise you dont always need steel, doesnt realise you can just have fibre added to reduce the cracking. Doesnt realise that you dont need a 14inch thick slab for a wooden shed for your shovels and lawnmower and that they arent parking a v12 mustange 2 tonne thingimiwattsit on the fuker.
Good video but why did it take so many men to do a two man job thanks Danny
Is that big George
Love u guys but come on where is the dpm and mesh lol
It's like a couple of London's east Ender's won a euro millions syndicate and are now trying to live life like they think country people do. 😅😅😅😅
Because he dodges bullets. Avi??!
No bloody reo bar, wouldn't hire that muppet even if he's good for a banter.
Traditional country gent behaviour.. it would be if it wasn't for that fellow with the speech difficulty who still eats more than everyone else ❤❤❤
I watch a channel from the US and when they pour concrete they flatten it out and have rebar down guess its the way they do here!
I’ve done bigger bases on my own with no problem…….dont see why so many people there
I know the builder is his mate BUT like all builders... They always milk their clients dry!!!
I must admit couldn't stand VJ up until now, yet..instead of my usual 'what a tool', i want to see more, looks interesting
Just good seeing VJ ❤❤❤
In natural habitat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
#MHLivingHistoryLeapyear2024
He's so lazy he can't be bothered to drive a digger.
Wheres the mesh ffs ,,,,,,,cowboys

Dearest pad in the uk. More men than needed.
Sad kents
Who’s the clown that’s showing up for the cameras
Hey better builders ffs
Vinnie the melt wants to grow up
That would be the worst example of an attempt to do concreting I have ever seen total utter crap , the dialogues about onky second to the concrete ING ability
what's paying for all this shite anyways cause there no fucking money out off it look a jermy Clarkson he so ya the true side off it just about hahah
Bad job sorry
So these actors and celebrities pretend to do days work this is weird vinnie your a fake tough guy and I am not a fan of
hes like the ian garry of builders well annoying
This is s ite. Over acting .
No billies = hedgehogs😉
The guy with the shorts trying to look hard towards Vinny is just cringy, like that cringy lad who Clarkson is making money off
