I had that problem but funny thing was I slipped, not sure how but the piece you talking about at 3:15, it popped right out. I am waiting for my replacement bcm right now but I had to get it ready for when I do get it. Thanks for the help, your video was pretty informative.
Please help I have my anti lock , service stability track and trac off and the security light would come on and radio will turn off with then dash lights turn off and radio and ect any ideas
Where does it say no data? You have to use a GENUINE TECH2 or clone to program a BCM, a VXNANO won't work. I'm not an expert on this, this video was just how to get the computer into the car, as my flash didn't go real well as car battery was low when I started.
my friends a mechanic and he had all his systems to program it but the screen was saying no data but the lights, a/c, and the dash lights up but the radio and the windows doesn't work. so he is trying to figure out whats causing the bcm to not have data to my vehicle
Yep mines doing the same crap, on the cluster says no data or error lights flashing cluster going nuts radio off and on ect ect... I have a theory that on star sends a bug to get us to spend more money by messing our cars up just enough lmao
I replaced because after a deer hit, the front DRL circuit got shorted and the dash always said DRL ERROR or something line that. BCM fixed that problem, but DRLs were never right as I don't think the body shop repaired all the damage right.

There is a screw under the carpet you take out and the whole bracket comes out.
Would really love to see how you remove the actual console, instead of seeing the center console already pulled.

What symptoms did you exhibit to replace the BCM?

Had bought a cheap $300 Tech II Programmer
You took t bolts out that u didn’t even needed to take out😂 you do not have to remove the seats, just move the seats up😂😂 smdh
