- There are plenty of Legend Units in the Battle Cats, and you unlock tons of these units as you play throughout the game, from Empire of Cats till the end of the Uncanny Legends! In this video, I dissect who I believe is the worst and who is the best of the Legend Units featured in this game!
Also, one unit is ranked in two spots because the two forms might as well be treated as different units and it is easier to break them down since again, they are fundamentally different.

My favourite legend
It's insane how Bahamut, and their true form is completely free for how strong they are. In any other game with gacha mechanics, You would get a worse version for free, and have to pay a lot or get insanely lucky to get an unit like them.

well, given how good you have to be to beat bun bun at that stage, it feels like you got the best value for money cat once you beat the hardest chapter stage of EOC, and its a reward for completing the main story of Battle Cats.

mina is probably my fav legend unit because well
before u unlock her when looking at her silhouette screen, it doesnt show her attack animation
so its really funny surprise when you get to her stage and she has a bazooka
thats probably one of the most memorable battle cats moments imo, and a highlight of the game for me

@@skyjack1 Luza demolished most Relic enmies, and can perform well in surge stages and behemoth stages, i think he deserved to be high. Being sluggish doesn't matter much when his role as a nuker is pretty passive and he can just shrug off any damage the relic do anyway.

Ururun is probably my favorite unit in the game, period. It felt so satisfying to unlock her after so long, and I really do appreciate how well she holds up in viability throughout the game. Sure, Urs overshadows her in the very endgame, but they still work super well together.

I would rank nyandam due to the fact that he’s one of the few non-Ubers who has more than 500 range. also, I would rank cat God over mecha bun due to the fact that cat God can have a lot of usage when you use them on small stages, opposed to mecha bun who just gets outclassed once you get better units.

Personally, I use Mecha Bun more than Schoolbus Nyandam as I opened a new account and got Mecha Bun recently. And while Nyandam is amazing, I think Mecha Bun is actually more usable in 4-star tanking stages because I don't have any other good tankers. Meanwhile, Nyandam can be outclassed by rushing stages down and SoL's high range units between 440(Ururun's range) and 551(Nyandam's range) are limited. One example is Emperor Nyandam but he can be easily rushed down with Courier even in 4-star. However, Mecha-Bun can be used against Camelle even with A. Bahamut on your team as Mecha-Bun can be used as a secondary attacker next to him. However, the hopes and dreams of these two being good are crushed after you get UL legends and better cats.

I honestly do think if Valkyrie Cat gets Talents like the purchase specials, she could become a decent unit again.
Also regarding the Omens boss, I'm learning really fast that they are very easy to control... the actual boss is the Wild Doge that spawns and destroys your defenses...

@@tacotown4598 her niche is freeze vs everything with almost 100% uptime if she procs again, just increase her freeze chance and you'll get healer but better
@@Am_Cookie2436 she has 50% uptime, even if she constantly procs, and her proc chance is 35%. Ponos has almost never added talents that increase proc chance, and even if they did that wouldn’t fix her low uptime and god awful….everything else.

I think relic bun bun is good but is outclassed by yulala their Dmg is the same. Atonement for original sin is a stage where mecha bun can be used to tank the bosses

Honestly for me, awakened bahaumut is below naala. In my experience, in late game naala is significantly more useful. Abaha is amazing but naala is so strong

Socrates dosent have a TF yet and sage is way to new to say anything, socrates cat niche isnt great due to his kinda lack luster kit, his spirit can be a yood enabler for a team push but other then that socrates inst that great, id generously put him above musashi in usefullness but i reckon he deserves a higher spot
Esoteric Uril gais absurd buffs on his true form, fixing everything weak or lack luster about him before with him, having strong means he has much better dps and improves his allready great survivability boosted even further by surge imune and a range increase wich actualy helps his damage stay consistant by closing the gap between his range and his surge making them overlap iften for way more damage, giving him a curse ability only added to his support abilitys allowing him to bless bassicaly every cat with curse imune from relics and help out with other debuffs, uril has a strong hold on the meta, having great matchups agaist all of his traits while being somewhat cheap,lasting long in battle, decently fast recharge, good dps, and great supportive capabilities, he would have to take nalas spot at second place, A. bahamut is still just such a important unit that i feel like you cant compete agaist him, but Uril comes close in terms of sheer power

Uril is better than bahamut in end game and by a lot. Uril destroys most relic and aku stages having both insane support capabilities and very decent dps. Bahamut is still good and practically essential for mid-late game, but he is just not the best in end game where you would get uril tf

Valkyrie is worse than filibuster in my opinion filibuster isn't great but he functions against traitless and relic bosses pretty well and I get use out of him on occasion
You must be REALLY desperate for anti traitless and relic because failbuster’s usage against them is incredibly subpar. He’s genuinely useless for just about the entire game, at least valk has some early game usage.

also kinda surprised you put pre-TF bahamut so high up. I guess 110k nuke damage from 450 range is solid, but you also pointed out literally every flaw that makes it irrelevant late to end-game lol, concluded as poor mobility. one-shotting 200% wild doge is nice I guess, but the slow attack rate means it's not really practical unless you can somehow stall swarms of wild doge for that period of time, which at that point you may as well use other damage-dealing units.
I would at least make a bit of an argument for cat god and yulala; cat god's far piercing omni gives it a niche on short stages, allowing it to act as a chipper at 850 range from the base. also is useful for cheesing stages. yulala has 18k LD dps against relic enemies at level 50, along with short cooldown and generally high mobility. I don't think that's just "chip" lol; it would be feasible to use yulala as your primary anti-relic attacker.
also you did musashi dirty; you mentioned you wouldn't take into account uber/legend rares presumably so you could talk about the validity of niches within the sphere of legend units, but then you also mention talented dancer. admittedly, a talented special cat is different, but I still think it's funny.

Awakened urs/awakened ururun both have 10K DPS for example Dasli (arguably the best cat in the game) has 12k dps
Dasli has 12k dps at level 30 while urs/ururun have that dps at level 50. Level 50 dasli has a lot more dps

Easy, because mecha bunbun It is too expensive for what it offers, it is simply not worth it, there are many better things for the job it has, slapsticks, mina, ururun, rodeo, modern, etc., it is simply unusable In most of the game, even if you tell me that early is good, there are simply better options for the job, mushashi on the other hand tell me 2 or 3 wave immunity attackers that are not talent Musashi is bad yes, but it is usable thanks to that wave immunity, floor 30, 49 (if it works on 49), many 4* stages with waves, much more than what mecha does in its entire miserable existence

Legend Units are seperate from Legend Rares. The term comes from the Legends stages because that is where you get most of them. The term predates Legend Rares.
I love Idi as a unit, but getting her is an insanely slow process. I'm only at Dead End Night 4*, which is 23/48.

Moneko is treated like a normal unit in terms of leveling and isn't near the end of the Specials list like other legend cats

They used to be serial code/invite bonus units and were retroactively made to be unlocked through similar means to Legend Units

I’m realy sorry but you are misinformed if you think a Bahamian is better than ANY UL unit, you say you are weighting this ranking towards end game but with zero legends full or behemoths you simply can’t rank a no health mediocre damage rusher over Doug min who by the way has just as much damage against his typing with about 30 times the health
As a rusher, Doron's surge is really incosistent, if it doesn't hit the right target, Doron will lose out a bunch of potential damage. Typing doesn't matter, half of the Behemoth enemies are surge immune anyway and Ponos just doesn't like surge in general (They literally released an enemy that counter surge lol). Health is also irrelavant, Doron will die after attacking unlike Bahamut who can actually fight on the battlefield. And no units can match Bahamut in damage output, 2 or 3 well time hits are already enough to outdamage Doron anyway. Lastly, fix your spelling lol.
Dogu’s damage output vs behemoth is 1/2 of bahamut’s.
Behemoths are cool but bahamut is one of the or the single best suicide bomber in the game and js unlockable for almost his full power in earlygame, and that’s more valuable then dogu will EVER be.
“Zero legends full of behemoths” so uuuh there are 7 behemoth enemy appearances across the 12 ZL stages and 82 total enemy appearances. Or, ~8.5% of all enemies in ZL are behemoths. Which is actually just about the average you would expect if there was an even mix of all traits. Even if we include meta filibuster, which adds 6 total enemies and 5 behemoths, we still only get an average of 13.6% behemoths. Not exactly chock full of behemoths if you ask me.

Yeah, i think she's better than Ururun. Lordmarkiquad mentioned that Mina isn't fitting for the end game but that can also be apply to Ururun as well consider the fact that Ururun is a generalist backliner that can be replaced by better option like Urs. Between a generalist backliner vs a generalist sniper, a sniper would have more value consider the wide amount of high range enemies that normal attackers can't reach. Overall, Mina is a bit low in the ranking and i think she can be place higher.

I think you're understating the sheer power of normal Bahamut in the early game, so many stages are made so much easier like the crazed stages
remember that this list is based of off endgame, as most of these units are unlocked at endgame

He also stressed that he was comparing Bahamut to endgame content, where 110k damage isn't that high plus it has a long TBA. ;-; If you actually listened to his points instead of skimming for rankings you would understand why Bahamut isn't good
